Asked for water with a lemon, waitress brought me a bottle of water with limes. Told her I just wanted water, not a bottled water, asked her how much, she told me .50 but got charged 1.50. No free chips and salsa, no lunch menu. So I got a small quacamole, which on the menu said 3.00, they charged me 4.00, and it was a very small bowl. I then ordered Pollo Loco, which was 13.99. It was some small pieces of chicken over a huge bed of yellow rice with a few drops of queso, It had no flavor and was not seasoned at all. Ended up costing over $21.00. I can eat at all the other Mexican restaurants in town for 10 or 12 bucks, and get free chips and salsa. First and last time.

Being from south Texas I was a little leery at first. But when I read the menu I knew this was the real deal. The food is authentic Mexican and delicious. We had the fajitas quesadilla and the burrito carnitas and they were both excellent — better than a number of places back home. If you are looking for a really good Mexican style meal, this is the place for you.

Food wasn’t really authentic. Rice was yellow, beans didn’t have a good taste, the steak seemed old and microwaved. Drink cups had a weird smell to them as if they weren’t cleaned. Charged 43 dollars for two people for food that wasn’t worth that much. 1st and last time going. Do not serve chips or salsa.

Stopped by on the way to Florida for lunch. The Al Pastor tacos are second to none, the Tortas were awesome (and huge). Two Tortas and a taco fed two adults and two kids with leftovers. My 4 and 7 year old kids loved it, the 4 year old said "best ever."

I love this place! They have delicious huaraches, tacos, etc. The menu is authentic and has a wide variety. They offer 'aguas' de horcharta and jamaica in super large cups. They're not very busy so the wait is never too long! You can also call ahead for takeout.

My mojarra(whole fried tilapia) was exquisitely prepared, tender white meat and great crispy skin. The homemade tortilla chips were very good. They do not offer red sauce, but queso was very good. Personally, I liked their hot red sauce on my chips.
Wife chicken enchiladas in red sauce(not hot) had great texture. They had great flavor.
Not sure why our drinks, bottled water and canned diet Coke wasn't served in plastic cups.
All tolled, it was a wonderful dinner and we shall return.

Food was really good and staff was amazing. If your looking for a great place for authentic this is your place. The hot sauce is super spicy btw, and place is small but really clean and the food is worth it. It doesn’t serve chips and salsa but ordering the guacamole is handmade here authentic.

Probably the most authentic mexican food, I've tried in this area! Their caldo de res, huarache, sope and tortas cubana were a few of what I've had not to mention their fresh waters are delicious! As an Hispanic that's from Mexico City and frequents Mexico it's very hard to please my palate, highly recommend this place!

I had a craving for street tacos last night. We got to go from here. I got 3 tacos (chicken, chorizo, and asada). My partner got the red enchiladas, frijoles and rice. It was amazing all around. The Chorizo was my favorite. The woman working was incredibly nice and helpful. Thank you to her especially. We will absolutely come back and try new foods from here as well.

I would like to give a better rating, but the waitress acted like we put her out by showing up. The food was okay, but I’m from Texas and am hard to please. They do not serve chips and salsa or margaritas, so, not my idea of authentic Mexican. I would say I’d go back and give it a second chance, but I didn’t feel welcome.

Probably the best and most authentic Mexican food I've ever had. Every time I go to America's Thrift Store, I try to stop in for lunch. But beware, the salsa is HOT, which is perfect for my sinus issues and habit of not getting enough water intake! Pictured is the Al Pastor Burrito. Delicious!

Amazing hand-made tortillas. Heavy cilantro which I love but perhaps not for everyone. The meat was cooked perfectly whether beef, chicken, carnitas, whatever. Tacos relatively small but well priced for the quality. Best tacos in or around Bham I've had, though I haven't been everywhere yet. Be aware the sign is not big, it's at the front of a shopping center that also has a laundromat. It is directly behind that fancy ice cream place. Like right out the back door and across the train tracks. If you like tacos you owe it to yourself to check this place out.
