Just found melted plastc in my food. I thought it was cheese till I got it on my fork, then broke it apart. How? How does this happen? Ridiculous. Never had this happen ever! Server was great.

This place CONSTANTLY gets our orders wrong, and the food is not nearly good enough to excuse so many errors in our orders and food so often. For example, today, I ordered the Choco Chimi, which is supposed to be topped with honey, ice cream, and chocolate syrup. The photo is what I received. Don't order food from here. They will always get SOMETHING wrong, wasting your time, gas, and money.

This has become our go-to place for Mexican food. While there are lots of wonderful Mexican style restaurants in Anniston/Oxford we tend to gravitate here because:
+They're open on Sundays and Mondays.
+The food is a slightly elevated version of the typical Tex-Mex we Americans love so much, and it's very good!
+Their servers have practically become our friends - they're all so nice and fun.
+It's affordable
+The atmosphere is comfortable (don't judge it by the dated exterior! Everything inside is top notch).
+the Margheritas are delicious.
+It's not too loud, so friends can gather and hear what everyone is saying.

If you haven't been yet, you should definitely give it a try.

We were promptly shown to our seat and the chips and salsa were there by the time the waitress came to take our drink order. She was very helpful, nice and the food was amazing. There was a good portion of it plus it was tasty. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

Christina was amaz-balls. I'm not not from here and it was better then back home. Definitely a place to check out. Food- excellent, Margaritas-excellent. The queso was a little thin bit tasted good.

Very friendly environment. Our server was a super nice guy. He stayed on top even though he was by himself and had three other table and on party beside us. Food was all fresh, salsa was a wonderful flavor. I could taste fresh cilantro in the salsa. Cheese dip was good. Dinner was hot, fresh and all had a great flavor. We ordered some drinks and they were good as well. Texas margarita was strong so if you need a quick calm, there ya go! I highly recommend everyone keeping this restaurant around!

The waitress could not understand me and gave me everything except what I ordered .They have a little boy named Coner who works there who works hard and listens and most importantly he is kind . I told him about it and he told me they mess up everything just ask for him .This is what I did. Mind u I am an elderly man .I won’t go there unless he is there and a white young woman came running up to me and my wife’s table telling me she is all about safety. She caught me off guard I told her I was not after Coner ???My wife told her I liked him because he was a hard worker kind and listened then she went away.

Ordered my mom and husband nachos with extra cheese and it didn’t have anything but meat and chips. They completely forgot about my nachos, the cheese sauce looks curdled milk. Will not order from here again.

Usually I have nothing but good things to say, but if if Maegan is not there, I will NOT be going back. She’s the best server I’ve ever had anywhere I’ve went. I’ve had less than pleasant experiences with other servers to say the least. I HIGHLY recommend Margaronas, but if Maegan isn’t there it isn’t worth it in my honest opinion.

We ate here twice in the past 4wks. The 1st time the Rice Deluxe with steak & the shrimp dish that's similar to the rice deluxe, but w/squash instead were both great! The 2nd time, the same dishes were a bit bland, and the cheese sauce for them was very watery & nearly flavorless. The house margarita was not any good and watered down. I mentioned that to our server, and she said, "I haven't tried it today. I'll go see." When she came back out of the kitchen, she never spoke a word about it and went directly to another table. We WERE charged for it, too. There seemed to be a whole lot of to-go orders being picked up both times. So, not dining in may be great. The salsa was not bad, but also not really worth filling up on either. We even tried adding salt to the salsa and the chips, it seemed to help a tiny bit. Party of 12. Waiter (young teenager) tried to memorize our entire tables order. Poor kitchen had no clue. Most of the food came out wrong. We eventually politely requested he write things down. Manager apologized and graciously discounted our tab. The food was delicious. Will give it another shot!

The food was amazing, and Conner was our waitress he was awesome. He had a lot up his sleeve because yall had gotten busy since we got our food, sat down, and ate. But he kept his promise and made sure we were taken care of in this entire experience. I believe Conner should be looked upon as an example of great attitude, leadership, and dedication employee as he completed our first experiment at this establishment. We also do not know Conner so this is a first.. if we have spelled his name incorrectly, please let us know as a recommendation to fix it. THANKS CONNER!!!!

A great standard Mexican restaurant in Anniston. Very easy to get a table at 5:30 on a Monday, but it filled up as the dinner hours went on. The salsa was good as was the taco salad.

You can usually tell the quality of a Mexican food restaurant by the chips and salsa. Same here. Lunch was not 'inexpensive with massive quantity' as indicated by other posts. $10.50 for 2 small street tacos on the special lunch menu. Rice/beans in small portions. Average flavor. I was not impressed and left hungry. Many better Mexican options around.

I have eaten here several times, and I keep coming back because the food is great and reasonably priced. It is the best Mexican food I've had anywhere in the area. The service is always good, but tonight, Christina provided service that was absolutely flawless. You could use a video of her to show other servers how it is done. Absolutely exceptional. We will be back often.

Christina gave us great service! She seated us promptly. Took our drink orders and since we were having beer she asked if we also wanted water. Our food came put fast and Cheistina made sure we liked and verified 2 or 3 times if we needed anything else. Will definitely be returning and you should ask for Christina if you visit.

We were in town for a work related event. Found this restaurant and the reviews speak for them self. The atmosphere was great. Laid back and very clean. The service was friendly and quick. Cool place off HWY 21 @ Anniston AL.
Was looking for a less expensive quicker Mexi joint while headin back to GA; this place came in Way above avg :)
Gots their own prvt free lot, so no worries on finding space v quickly, off the busier S Quintard Ave.

Their complimentary chips y salsa were piping hot and fresh : )
Spot v clean and chique; v crisp place. Their choices on tap were pretty meager, but pretty standard for Anniston (Mich Ultra, Modelo Esp, Bud Light, .. etc.. )
So I ordered the Mind-bending Quesa de Camarones; Truly Out of the Park; Not kiddin u at all; been to all the Mexi pads in GA AL :) Fresh, Flavorful, steaming hot, Plenty o rice and veggies.
Will be backs to try their Carribean Catch..

Don't want to forget the many TVs in case u feelin antisocial :/
Waitstaff kind violent considerate and go way out of their way;
Checked on multiple times makin sure I v v satisfied & stuffed.
U will leave full and happy.

I will never eat here again the waitress was no help my wife got Caribbean catch and the shrimp was no good she got sick in the restaurant and the waitress said ok I am sorry are you ready for the bill I don't want anything free I was going to pay anyway but she didn't offer to take it off or did the manager even come to our table it is the worst experience I have ever had will never go back. Mangos is the best or Los Arcos.

I ordered a Flaming cheese dinner to go for mother's day ,they said it would be ready when I got there after arriving she said it'd be a couple minutes I stood there for 15 minutes waiting on my food and I turned around to find my food sitting on the bar.after finally getting someone to get it for me I found that it was cold and the food was dry when I said something she gave me a cup of butter and said it had been sitting there for awhile.what a way to ruin my day as I drove an hour and a half to get it.normally the food is delicious not this time.

they sat us down for 3 hours didn’t take our drinks, then told us the kitchen was closed. When we started walking out the manager said the kitchen was not closed and we can sit down and order. I’ll never go back lame ahh folks!!!!

Amazing food! Great prices! Friendly staff. Great kids food selection and even has not only high chairs and booster but infant slings as well. This place never disappoints and has the best spicy salsa you can ask for special. The food is always super fast and hot. It takes me longer to pick from their vast menu than them to get it to the table.

First time eating at this place with my wife and everything was great/flavorful and from all the other mexican restaurant's in anniston/oxford area the home made corn tortillas with the meals set them above the others in many ways .

This is a good place. It has alot of potential in my opinion. If the staff....esp the young man with the "man bun" were a little nicer, and didnt laugh at people or make fun of people as much, it could and would be so much better. But other than that, more people should try this place out. Hope you all enjoy!!

We just had dinner here and the food is excellent, the best in Anniston. Our server’s name was Conner and he was amazing! Definitely an asset to the establishment! We will return and will suggest this place to others. Such a great overall experience.

Service was excellent, restaurant was clean, able to accommodate larger groups, mango margarita was fabulous. I had street tacos with homemade corn tortillas, the chicken had great flavor but was a tad dry. We were a group of 8 and everyone loved their meals.

I've eat at every Mexican restaurant in Calhoun County and this place is by far the VERY BEST. The staff is very friendly and the food is AMAZING!!! The food is always fresh and full of flavor,unlike many other restaurants in town. Everytime I'm in Anniston I try to stop by and treat myself to something awesome!

Service was slow not my issue the menu stated clearly that All fajitas come with lettuce guacamole pico de gallo rice and beans but if you order the flaming cheese fajitas for whatever reason they don’t come with anything but shells and when this was pointed out in the menu the manger told our waitress no they wouldn’t give us what was ordered until I made a fuss over it directly with him ….very disappointing
