Acapulco's Méxican Grill

I order a Burrito Blanco for take out, and waited about 10 minutes for it. It is really good, it is everything I was expecting and more. The service was also good. Will stop by again.

Food was delicious! Nice little kick in salsa. Decor on par with most Mexican restaurants. Only wish waiter had heated cheese dip a little more like I asked. Other than that, it was a great meal.

Lucas was the best server ever! Refilled our waters as soon as they were less than half full, picked up the check as soon as we put the card down, stopped by many times to ensure our food was satisfactory, etc. He went above and beyond - the best service I’ve ever had here. Highly recommend the taco salad!

I brought my family of 6 to eat for dinner last night. We arrived at 7:08 and got seated very promptly however, from then on it went down hill. We never was greeted until 7:30 and that was after we asked several servers to serve us. Furthermore we never got our food until 8:30 and it ended up getting cold. We never got refills or checked on. I have 4 children and believe this had a part. The table directly behind us was in and out before us and they arrived over an hour after us. Nobody came to talk to me and I ended up spending 107$ for a terrible experience. Tried to speak with someone but nobody came out so very unhappy!

Been a couple of times for lunch. Great service, nice atmosphere and great value for lunch! I personally favor their chicken over the beef enchiladas and burritos. Chicken quesadilla was excellent. Plenty of parking and seating.

The food was awful. 2 out of 3 meals inedible. The service was awful. She didn't ask how our food was or if we needed a refill and we did. She just walked past us several times. The only reason the atmosphere was any better is because a couple near us was getting divorced and the tea was piping. I do not recommend it at all. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Auburn. I especially like the tacos de carnitas and the shrimp enchiladas. Unfortunately, it gets really packed and loud when the students are back.

I usually get the queso and guacamole with chips here all the time with a modelo or corona with some lime and tajin. That the only go to, I mean the other food option are great! But I really enjoy their queso and guacamole at this establishment.

Customer service is really great! I really can not complain at all here.

The atmosphere is great here!

Best Mexican restaurant in AL.
Only place you can get truly great molcajete and shrimp cocktail.

Do like I did and ask for campechana. They don't serve it yet, but they know what it is. Trust me, folks, there's way too many tentacled critters in the ocean that could be in the cocktail with the shrimp. Their lives are extra tasty that way!

Ordered through Tiger Town to Go, never had a bad order until tonight. Fajitas were burnt and overcooked. It was an order for two and you sent 4 tortillas. So I went without. Chips were not warm and hard. I will question whether I order again.

The purposefully didn’t provide us with service. When I asked the hostess where’s our server she said she’d go find them, but she went to another table to take a customer’s order and never went to go find our server. We were completely ignored. It’s sad when you’re profiled, but are actually customers who don’t need to check prices and tip very well. Their loss.

We went here on the recommendation of our son and daughter in law. I was blown away! The service was fast and very friendly. The food came out hot and fresh. The food was wonderful with incredibly unique flavors. Prices were very good!

I highly recommend this restaurant and I will certainly come back here next time I’m in Auburn!

This is our third time eating here. The food tastes good! It seems that this is the third time that we ate at Acapulco's Mexican Grill recently. The last two times I composed a review and didn't post. This time I'll follow through. This restaurant is one of our favourites. We'll come back often.

Always wondered why there are sometimes lines of people waiting outside this restaurant. I now see why. I had dinner here with coworkers, and it was fantastic. Friendly and attentive service, large portion sizes, and everything tasted great. Highly recommended.

Food had a marinara sauce on it and came out like it had been under heat lamp for a while. We were there at 2:39-3 p.m. or so- not busy at all. Food quality and taste was just not great. Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. My dining companion liked the margaritas. Service was average.

Fast trip in for lunch and didn't want fast food. This place was everything perfect for us to quickly eat EXCELLENT food and get back on the road!! Quick run into the bathroom and a pleasant bleach clean smell added to a much perfect lunch spot! Muchas Gracias and kudos to the cook, servers, and whoever keeps up with cleaning and sanitizing the bathrooms!! You're amazing!

Went for a friend’s daughter’s birthday at 7:00. The server brought 70% of the food orders out incorrect, and COMPLETELY forgot the birthday girl’s food. It never came. Finally got our checks and left at 10:00. Had to bring the skeleton crew out to sing for her birthday after reminding the server 3 times. After asking the manager to resolve the incorrect orders, he fixed it very quickly (so he was amazing) but no discount was offered. I NEVER leave reviews but I would never return to this place again. Good luck folks.

We stop for dinner and the food was really goog,l was surprised because l live on california close to the Mexican border,l went to Acapulco there and l was disappointed the carne asada was really bad it was dry no flavor and you thing because we're close to Mexico the food should be more authentic,l told the waiter about the food and his answer was that's what we got,next time l visit aurburn l will definitely stop by again highly recommend

This is my Go-To Mexican restaurant in town. They have the best guacamole (in my opinion)- because they don't over-use sour cream, like /MOST/ of the other Mexican restaurants around here. I believe their seasonings and flavors achieve the right balance, mild to medium spicy.

I've been coming here for over fifteen years. Their renovation about three years ago still looks great.

Also, their tortilla chips are tasty, never too greasy, usually fresh. It looks like they have flax seeds in them.

Also this place is quite large, with tons of extra capacity in additional adjacent spaces.

The last two times I have gotten a take out order was very disappointing. This used to be the best Mexican restaurant in phenix city. The two tacos were not filled. Less meat and cheese. The chicken chimichanga had less cheese and chicken. Very poor quality. Will not eat there again. Must have changed cooks. Terrible food. Very disappointed.

Service was slow as compared to other Mexican restaurants. We had to call them few times to ask for things we ordered . Generally we get two baskets of tortilla chips when four of us go in El do rado restaurant and Agave Loco. Here we had to ask them for one more as we finished one. For water and drinks the server was not available after taking order. I had to get up and search and call him. Taste was good for some dishes and average for some. Price is like others. I won’t recommend this to anyone as first choice.

Great food with great service! Free small cheese dip on Sundays!!! 😋 The restaurant was clean and the staff was clean and presentable. It was busy but they handled it extremely well with no wait or lack of service. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!

It took over 1 hour to get our COLD food. In all it took almost 2 hours to eat dinner. Had to ask multiple times to get things such as a glass of water. Had to go find our debit card after we gave it to the server.

Wow. Three of us ordered from the "lunch" menu. Everything was great. The chips were hot. The salsa was perfect. So much food. The total was $40 plus tip. Worth every penny. We'll be back.

Waiter did not come check on us are food came out before our drinks and then when he did bring what was supposed to be single shots he brought the alcohol in glasses, also we could not find him to ask for Togo containers or to even ask for a extra glass of water very dissatisfied

One word... awful. And they have no idea how bad they are. The server didn't want to provide extra napkins or an additional glass of water, insisting that the 2nd glass be provided in a Styrofoam cup to go. To top it off the chef served up a slice of beef jerkey and called Carne Asada.
