so if you’re looking for the meat, just order the steak burrito because a fajita burrito has just a bunch of onions and a couple pieces of peppers in it and very little steak.

The chili relleno that my husband got was mush. It was not crispy, which is what we asked for

the chips were warm and good and we liked the red salsa. We also ordered the guacamole appetizer for four bucks and for the price It was good with those chunks of avocado and it was all right!

All they had to do was write down what was on the order and bring it back to the kitchen l, but it took 50 minutes to do so. After the ticket was brought back the food was made quickly, but the service was just not good up front at all

Great service and happy atmosphere. We had a blast. I bought my mom back the Texas Rice and she loved it. I never really cared about Mexican food until now. This is my new addiction. 😂😂👍🏾👍🏾

Great variety of food with lots of vegetable options, and the service is friendly and prompt! We in particular love everything here made with steak, and the chorizo dip is super yummy!

So we enjoyed our time here (read to the end for all the details). It's cheap, friendly, and easy to park, get in ,etc. The food is very heavy and filling. It's good but as most of these sort of Mexican restaurants it's oil and salt heavy and you'll need a nap after 😆
The server was super sweet and friendly, but not very knowledgeable. She didn't know the specials, and she didn't bring out the drink I ordered. It was fine. I didn't remind her and I went outside to read the specials from the board. Again, she was super kind.
If I was trying to be healthy I wouldn't eat here. The quesadilla was fried in oil, the fajitas were full of oil, and from gal who likes her salt, it was salty. The cheese dip was watery and a little pricey, but then again it is pricey everywhere. We have kids and they love it, so we get it. The salsa was very spicy. Decent but nothing special.
Oh, the refried beans and rice were amazing. Rice had lots of little veggies in there and the refried beans had some chunks of beans in them, we're not oily, and tasted fresh made.

Absolutely my favorite Hispanic food restaurant in town hands down. Love the staff, the food is all good no matter what i get! Gets pretty crazy on weekends but still they're good with service and time. 10/10

Great place to eat in Auburn. Tons of food options and a very family friendly place. I ordered a lunch special Fajita quesadilla which was AMAZING and my friends ordered chicken fajita lunch and Speedy Gonzales lunch. My favorite Mexican joint is still Durango on 280/431 but Agave Loco is my Auburn favorite.

Honestly I only tried this place because someone recommended it to me due to the margaritas. My margarita was subparvthe dye used in the sugar for the rim of the margarita melted and stained my shoes, the birria we lack luster, and the waiter seemed overwhelmed and disregarded our table to the point that others came over to check if we're ok.. I personally will not return to this establishment.

Went here for a friend's bday they had no where to accommodate 11 people so they tried to sit half inside and half outside obviously we wanted to celebrate together....so we all sat outside which was sticky and sweaty but that's besides the point....drinks alone took 20 mins and the food took over an hour....and we didn't get any refills until after the food was served even though we all had empty cups sweating waiting on the food..the food was okay but honestly when I get too hot I'm not so hungry anymore....maybe in a group of 4 you would be okay but made us late to our bowling reservation so wouldn't plan a group there

Food was good nice waiters i had gotten the street tacos my father had gotten the ribs with green salsa it did take a while to get the food and order but it didn't take a really long time i got the green sauce and red sauce they were great food was warm when we got seated the chips and salsa took about 30ish seconds to get to us

This is ou takeout go to Mexican place in the Auburn Opelika area. We order online and the food is ready to go when we get there. Try the horchata, it's great. Enchiladas suisa are my staple. Excellent food.

Despite my friends’ crippling collective social anxieties, we walked away with three HUGE horchatas to go. Our waiter was incredibly kind. I just know he'd take a bullet for me if the time ever arose. We tipped very well for that impeccable service. As recent California transplants, Agave Loco is our favorite go-to Mexican food as the tastes is what we're used to. Their salsa picante (must request) is good; and their Chile Relleno and tacos are delicious! Lunch menu prices on generous entrees are mostly under $10. Must try Agave Loco!!

This is my go to spot whenever in Auburn, but their service lacked when not satisfied. I’ve witnessed it, but today I experienced it. We ordered an item without a picture and when asked about what it was, the server just nodded. The dish had cheese covering everything on the plate and when telling him that we didn’t want it, he brought the menu back to show that it had cheese, BUT the menu did not say everything would be covered in cheese. They did not offer another choice. I simply told him thank you but I will not be returning. There is no customer satisfaction.

My new favorite in the Auburn-Opelika area. Great service and the food is consistently good. They have several dishes on their menu not commonly found at other Mexican restaurants. I noticed a lot of Latino diners. If Latinos think it is good is has to be authentic food!

When my go-to Mexican cuisine spot closed, I was stuck. I was invited here by my sister and brother in law and I was pleasantly surprised. I have to start with the chips because that's one of the main reasons I go to a Mexican restaurant. Their chips are pretty great. Not thick, not thin, and it pairs perfectly with the salsa. The atmosphere here was pretty good. I didn't feel anxiety about having my three year old here because he gets loud sometimes, but I was loud enough that he wasn't a problem for anyone. Our server was very nice and attentive, keeping our chips and water glasses filled. All in all, it is a very good restaurant, and I truly recommend it.

Normally I am a huge fan of Agave Loco and have always recommended to everyone. I am a loyal customer who regularly comes in. Tonight, after having only been in the restaurant for a little over an hour our table was, pretty rudely, told to leave. Mind you, this is 45 minutes before they are closing and many other tables were still seated. I have worked in restaurants all throughout college and am disappointed in the customer service (if that’s what you want to call it) offered.

First time for me. I was not sure about the food but, my daughter been there many times and guaranteed me i would enjoy. I did. Prices a lil bit high but, it was worth it. If i go back to Auburn, i would not hesitate to eat there again. New building and atmosphere is for college students. Give it a try.

Service was great and food was out of this world! Lots of options on their menu including several healthy and vegetarian options. I ordered the Mediterranean wrap off the vegetarian menu and asked them to add grilled chicken to it. It was the most flavorful delicious thing that I have had from a restaurant in quite some time! I was very impressed and will definitely stop here again next time I'm in this area. The rat was so large I could have easily made it into two meals. Suffice it to say I was stuffed when I left LOL

This is the best tasting Mexican food I’ve had. This is the first place where the protein is seasoned. The salsa and guacamole was flavorful and fresh. Our service was amazing. Our food came out hot and in 15 minutes. If that. I do not leave reviews very often. This restaurant definitely deserves the time I spend writing this review. They went out of their way to make our meal absolutely delicious so I will take the time to leave this review. I will definitely be back no questions asked.

Love the theme and the design. The food was excellent. I'd give 5 stars if I didn't have to take my little baby outside in 100° weather and change her in a hot car because they didn't have any sort of changing station in the bathroom. It's too hot of a state to make people do that. They need to add a Koala table in the ladies room.

It was my first time here but I’ve heard so much about this place. The food was very delicious. I ordered the Pollo Santa Fe which is more festive than just a regular pollo loco since it comes with sautéed bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. The service was fast and efficient. I will definitely be back again.

I ordered for pickup. A cheese enchilada dinner, 3 pork street tacos with rice and beans, and a sweet tea.

I walked in to awesome festive colors and friendly customer service. My food was sitting on the shelf ready to go. Except my tea. He forgot it and after I reminded him he went off to get it for me. Great impressions though for sure 👍!

The food was just okay. The portions were good. I got one cheese enchilada? But the rice and beans filled me.

For me the taste was just okay. My daughter said hers was good. I mean I probably won't go back unless someone else requests it. I have definitely had better mexican food here in auburn.
