Laredo Mexican Grill

I recently had dinner at Laredo Mexican Grill, and it was absolutely delicious😁 I don’t remember the exact names of the dishes we ordered, but one was a fajita, and the other was a chicken salad. Both were flavorful and satisfying. The fajitas were perfectly seasoned and served sizzling hot, while the chicken salad was fresh and had the perfect balance of ingredients. The service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere made for a great dining experience. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty meal👍

Went in and sat at the bar for lunch. Ordered the fajitas and a peach margarita. Barely tasted any peach in the margarita. Taste watered down. They overcooked or burned my steak for the fajitas so the meat was very tough. Had absolutely no flavor to the steak. No seasoning. Then they charge extra to use your credit card which is just uncalled for. You get enough business to cover that fee. Over all. It wasn’t worth $26 on a lunch break plus tip!

I love it here! Honestly my whole family loves it here, everyone is so kind, the food is always delicious and fresh. They have great portions and they have recently added a lot of yummy drinks and appetizers to the menu!

This place is underrated in my opinion. Although the lighting in the dining area is very well-lit. It isn’t a bad thing, but it was different and a little odd at first. The service was really good. Laredo’s seems to be well-staffed, and the servers are attentive and speedy. When we were seated, our waiter came promptly with a nice plate of chips and salsa (the salsa was great!) Our meals were simple, but home-y, and it was like eating a meal made by Mom. Great portions, too, you likely won’t be leaving still hungry.

Everything was great! The only thing I hate is that they put an automatic gratuity on party's of 6 or more. & trust me, I understand it, I worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years, but nobody told us that, or maybe it was listed somewhere and we didn't see it. But other than that, this place is awesome

Laredos has been in Auburn forever. Great food and great service. The margaritas are delicious and they put a HUGE sombrero on you and sing happy birthday if it's your birthday. Very fun atmosphere and speedy service.

Really disappointed in the service tonight. Took a really long time to receive food and it was cold by the time it made it to our table. Saw our waitress 3 times the hour and a half we were there.

I called the mgr and told her the beef had no seasoning in it it was bland all she said is that she was going to check it nothing else can I replace it nothing so I won't be eating there anymore

Amazing salsa Verde! Amazing queso!! Everything was perfect!! Large margaritas are huge. This has been my husband's favorite go to for 20 years. We always come when we visit auburn!!

We always have the best time at Laredo's. The staff is always very friendly. I have three young children, so it's always important we get food quickly. Last year we took my 2-year-old there for his birthday and he was so excited about wearing the sombrero and having everyone sing to him. The staff were so kind and made sure to make it a fun, personable experience for him. He left there knowing everyone was his friend. We had such fun, we decided to make Laredo's our birthday tradition. The food is always good too.

I ordered through Uber eats, when the food arrived it was cold and it was in a sour cream container!!! Cero professional, the food was bad and I had stomachache and threw up, never buying here again!!!

Your typical tex-mex style family owned local restaurant. Lighting is a little different than what I’m used to. We ordered the fajitas for 2 and were highly satisfied with the portions and quality of the food. Service was great and friendly. Will definitely return.

I visited Laredos on numerous occasions when visiting from Atlanta, but on this occasion the service level was very lackluster in comparison to prior visits. My girlfriend, her cousin, and I came for lunch. First my girlfriend’s cousin wanted to try the new drink promotion the margarita flight. There was two tray choices of four drinks. Tray 1 and Tray 2. My girlfriend’s cousin is allergic to peaches and wanted to substitute the peach margarita with something else. The waiter ignored her request and when asked if her request was possible, he responded with a hard no. Second, we ordered the Southwest eggrolls. Seeing that my girlfriend is vegetarian, we asked if there was any meat inside these egg rolls. The waiter responded, “No. All the ingredients listed is what's inside the egg rolls.” Which was ok, if that was indeed true. So the egg rolls came to our table and there was clearly chunks of chicken breast inside the egg rolls. We asked the waiter is chicken inside these egg rolls after biting into one. Once again the waiter responded with a hard no. So, we asked for a manager. The manager arrived and she asked if she could help us with anything. We stated that there is chicken in these egg rolls which voids their claim of this dish being vegetarian friendly. The manager started that they don't make the egg rolls in house and the ingredients listed on the menu is what's on the box. So we showed her the chicken breast chunks in the egg rolls to give some validity to our claim. She proceeded to say that all ingredients on the menu came from the box. We proceeded with our other dishes, paid, and left the replacement waiter a $30 tip. She was very sweet by the way. Hours later my girlfriend is sick and throwing up. I don't know what was the problem on this day, but this establishment will NOT be on my list of restaurants to dine upon returning to Auburn.

I will not go again even if it is the last Mexican restaurant. Total disappointment, the waiter was reckless and disrespectful. We did not have to take the food for my cats. Super expensive 120 for 3 people.

I had a late lunch with my family today and a manager was yelling across the store embarrassing a poor server. That was very unprofessional and uncalled for. You are supposed to deal with that behind closed doors not make a mockery of your employees. I have my own business and can never in a million years put my employees through that. This place goes through servers like crazy and now I can see why. This restaurant needs some serious help.

The food is OK. It’s pretty standard Americanized Mexican food. There’s nothing special about it. It’s overpriced. Everything here is 20-30% higher than most Mexican restaurants but they charge you 4% for using a credit card. I never choose to eat here, but every blue moon I get drug in.

*i should also add that they do not serve any Mexican hot sauces. No cholula. No tapatio. No Valentina. Nothing but Tabasco. Yuck! Not on Mexican food. 🥑

Always the best food! Especially the Chicken Fajitas. The price is great. The lunch menu prices and portions are perfect.
Take out works well too! Their Salsa is delicious.

We prefer lunch or arriving for dinner early and on a weeknight. Weekends can get busy and loud sometimes, though not always. Either way, you're bound to have a great meal and be waited on by great staff.

The owner is so kind. He gets in there and is so attentive to his customers and staff. I love that. Laredo’s always feels like home. Food is always hot and never a long wait time. Fresh. Delicious. And they are always packed when we come in! Doesn’t change the service at all. Great job to you all.

Food is okey, but they(waiters) have serious problems. Neither they listen what customers orders nor they ever said sorry for mistakes. I have ordered one thing and served another thing and I must pay for wrong and right orders. Also, they didn’t serve all the food ordered we ordered again for second time same thing.
Lastly, i paid with credit card, give together with bill but once they charged they returned someone else card to me.
Overall so bad experience and not good waiters at all.

This is a fantastic place for family or friends. The service is quick and friendly. Sandra and Luis are 5 star servers. We have gluten free people in our family and we have never had a problem ordering corn tortillas on things like quesadillas. The Texas margaritas are the best.

My first time visiting was today and it was great. I loved the food and the server, Daniel, was amazing. I never had to worry about running out of something to drink. I'm picky about my waiters but I'll definitely be going back whenever he's working.

We ordered for pick-up late. There was a very short wait and we were in, then out. When inside, it wasn't very crowded that night (I've seen it packed), but the overall atmosphere was very welcoming, like "Come in, welcome, sit down, sit down." The ambiances with low light scattered and the stucco-looking walls were spot on! And we walked out with 2 HUGE bags of wonderful smelling awesomeness.
