You know when you walk into a restaurant and immediately know it’s gonna be fantastic? This is one of those restaurants. I’ve been struggling to find good eats in Auburn and I’m so glad I finally found a spot. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Some of the best tacos I've ever had! The tortillas are so good, and the salsas are life changing. Every meat option I've ever had here so far is great, but the tripas are especially delicious and crispy! The tacos are loaded up with meat and have just the right amount of cilantro and onion to round it out. I've had the quesadillas and burritos as well and they are so delicious and filling.

As a heads up, the website orders don't go through every time, so they recommend calling or just stopping in! Calling orders in is a breeze with them so I recommend that.

This place is close to my office and I would get lunch here semi frequently. Today was the first time I have been in 3 or 4 months and they have literally doubled the price of everything on the menu and the quality has taken a nose dive. The torta is my typical go to, it was $6 for just the sandwich 3 months ago, I called my order in today and when I get there to pick it up it has gone up to $12.99 and now comes with a side of fries. Similarly sopes, another one of my staples, went from $2.99 each to $4.99.

As for the food the quality was nowhere what I had been used to. The bread was stale and the bottom on one side of the sandwich was split in half and all the fillings fell out when picked up. The plate would have been better if they had just left the fries off, they were greasy, soggy, and not at all seasoned- not even salt.

This used to be one of my favorite lunch spots but I won't be back after this experience, certainly not at the current prices.

They’re always lying about their to go orders, so they can charge they’re customers more I’ve placed several to go orders so they could be ready on my lunch break and when I get there they say they’re no making any online order and don’t even call to let you know and also you’ll end up paying $10-15 more than original price. The food is good but honestly the thing is pretty garbage they do that. So beware they’ll betray ya!

Went to the grocery store part and was very well stocked and had what I was looking for. The tacos are really yummy but kinda greasy so know that going in, whether they were the beef tongue or the chorizo, they all had a lot of grease but man it was a good guilty pleasure

Review №47

Place looked as it has a grease patina over everything. Tables, booths and chairs are wore down, and interior decoration is not a strength of the restaurant. Food was almost ok, a greasy, like lard, taste was present in the beef, chicken and pork of the tacos. The tortillas were not the best in town, but not un eatable. They were somewhat hard and flavorless, maybe they were not fresh. The beef in the carne asada plate was only warm at the moment of serving, which maybe was an indication that it was warmed up instead of freshly grilled. The texture of it was chewy and with some hard cartilaginous or greasy parts that I had to trim out. Not the best cut in town either. Service was ok, not very friendly but not rude either.

Love the food here and usually have no problem with delivery orders, BUT today, my order was only partly correct. Only the taco had right protein. I ordered marinated pork quesadillas but got shredded beef(?) instead so disappointed!!! I don’t like wasting money on food. Please please double check orders for correct protein.
Still my favorite restaurant though.

I’m from Texas, and have been trying to find a good Mexican or Tex mex place. When I went here we were the only customers, but the cashier was playing on her phone and wasn’t welcoming at all. I ordered the nachos, and while the portion was huge, it was a weird combination of toppings thrown on the chips. Who puts iceberg lettuce on nachos? I think I ordered the wrong thing, and would like to give the tacos a try next time. The horchata tasted weird too, but I’m not sure if it was an issue with the drink dispenser.
