Went for lunch. Restaurant wasn’t very busy. Cold food, lousy service. Took quiet a while to order, then they delivered the wrong food 3 times for everyone at the table. Finally got our food and it was cold. I’m sure the food taste would have been better if it was hot. Finished the meal; then after asking for the check we waited 20 minutes before we got up and walked to the waiter stand and gave them cash and left. Staff here is lost. Could hear yelling in the kitchen.

Taco Tuesday was delicious! They're a buck a piece tacos. Most of my buddies and I got two or three and something else. Everyone stated it all was very tasty.
The chips were fresh and correctly salted and the salsa was properly tangy without being too hot. I ordered a side of their Pico de Gallo and I'd like to rave about it for all of you Pico fans out there.

The food here is fine, the usual fare you'd expect. I've been several times. I usually get it to go. Tonite was my last time. My order has been wrong so many times that I've learned to check before leaving. Usually they leave off chips/salsa/cheese dip. I didn't even think to check the meal. Tonite they gave me the wrong meal. Hard to understand how as I ordered over the phone and confirmed again at pick up. This time I drove back in order to get the correct item. They wanted to charge me full price for the item I'd been wanting from the start with no credit for the one I didn't order but received AND returned. I just canceled the order and left. This is the second time that has happened. There HAS TO BE a better place in the Russet Woods area for Mexican food. I don't have the patience for this place.

Went for karaoke EVERY Thursday evening with a HUGE group... We put up with wrong orders, poor service (RUDEST WAITERS IN TOWN) & awful food... When they quit karaoke (as they did for their other locations) going there was pointless. We found a MUCH better Mexican Restaurant in Bessemer with fresh delicious food & great, polite service. Though they don't have karaoke (yet) their food & service is well worth it... Los Sombrero's

Chorizo tacos had a nice char that added texture and flavor. They were perhaps the best chorizo tacos I can remember having. Asada tacos were fine and the amount of meat given was abundant. They have a vegetarian section on their menu, which is always greatly appreciated for my companion.

I've been dining at this establishment for over a year now. Food and service is usually really good but not tonight. Food wasn't even warm and when requested to speak to the manager, noone came to my table. I went to checkout and explained I don't want any of those tacos to go bc they are cold and old. Now as I am trying to explain to the young man he wants to act self righteous and as if I'm treating him rudely. I could see he wasn't listening and attempting to dismoss and deflect so I just put $20 on the counter as I knew it would more than cover the one taco and drink I had. He obviously has no business in customer service and this establishment has lost a long time customer over a few measly cold tacos.

If I can could give no stars, I would. Worst “Mexican” food I’ve ever had. Slow service, food was cold, took forever to get the order right and to get our ticket. In what world are Nachos a plate of chips with hamburger meat dumped on top with nothing else? Hamburger meat tasted like it had freezer burn.

Terrible service, w/racist undertones. Seems like you’d get better service in later times when they are busier. Food taste is similar to taco bell which is subpar for an authentic Mexican restaurant. El Amigo has a better atmosphere and service comepared to this. Would not recommend, especially if you are black.

My server could not understand English. She had to get someone about 6 times to understand my order. The worst experience. I could not ask about anything beyond the pictures on the menu. Smh!

Came in for some drinks, ordered a margarita, tasted like cheap mix. Had to go up to the server because she didn't take the time to ask me how it was. I was then charged for both drinks because they can't take off drinks that contain alcohol. Needless to say, I left and I'm not coming back. What a shame, I was looking forward to a good place do to all the positive reviews.

Wonderful atmosphere. Just came here for Karaoke and they let me in no question asked. Even gave me free chips and the water I asked for. Ain't a big drinker like I use to be but I love this place. This is THE place we go for our ladies nights almost every month. We love the atmosphere and service. The margaritas are slap your Momma good, and the Molcajete is A+ 🤌 Needless to say, you won't be disappointed!

Very pleased! First visit. Food and service were great. four of each got different entrees and we had no complaints.
Service was prompt and attentive up to the end of meal then had to flag a server for bill.

I’m coming at this review having had a lot of very good Mexican food that was moderately priced while I lived in Arizona. I do not plan on taking my family here again. The staff were very nice and welcoming, but I don’t come to a restaurant for the staff, I come for good food and this place missed the mark on every dish that my family ordered, even the fried ice cream. If you have never tasted good Mexican food, you wouldn’t know any better- but I can tell you from many years and having gone to many different Mexican restaurants in a border state that this place doesn’t produce good Mexican food.

Told them no onions on nachos. Full of onions. Told them sour cream, there is no sour cream. There is no white cheese on nachos and I was told it would b on top. Had to wait an extra 15 min for food. Place order on phone and in person and they still messed it up. If I could give it a 0 I would. 1st impression is everything.

This place I don’t know was here cause I haven’t been in the area lately but I was riding and got hungry and stopped by and the food was delicious.I had grilled talipa and shrimp with steamed veggies and Mexican rice.They also have a bar and TVs.The place is clean service was good and friendly and the fish and shrimp was some of the best I have ever had.Plus the veggies were fresh and cooked tender,particularly the broccoli. I haven’t tried some of the classic Mexican food here but if it’s this good it will be fantastic! I will certainly eat here again soon

I am totally hooked. Food is great , excellent service. The gentleman at the register is awesome. I don't know his name but he acts as server too if needed. Please visit. The food is fast, hot and works for the lunch hour.You will be satisfied.

I don't know about you, but I often measure how much I like a tex-mex spot by its salsa and queso, and it's really good here. I've had fiesta fajitas to go a few times, and it's so much good you can share and still have leftovers. Really good! Not ready to give it 5 stars because the one time I ate in and ordered something different, beef enchiladas, the beef was honestly mediocre quality. But overall I've had good experiences so far.

This is the 3rd time I have ordered fajitas to go. I just don't understand why they don't give me my tortillas. It is my understanding that they come with your meal. Please somebody tell me something different because every time I order my meal I just get the middles and no tortillas what is going on here

I’m so sorry to say this, but this place has very poor service and very mediocre if not poor food. I would not go back nor recommend this to anyone. When my husband sent his food back, they refused to offer him anything additional or give our money back. This is just unacceptable and honestly not worth it. He did not even want anything else had they even offered. We were just ready to leave.

We had a wonderful dinner of fiesta flaming cheese and fiesta fajitas. Flaming cheese is like fajitas with cheese added, it was delicious. Fiesta means chicken, steak and shrimp. Service was great and friendly. I can’t wait to go back and try the Hawaiian Fajitas. Convenient location right off Exit 6 on Morgan road.
