Stopped in on my way home from church. It was my first time eating here. The service and food were great. Reminded me a lot of another favorite Mexican rest Iguana's.

It was a slow, Sunday night, so delivery was quick. Daniel, our server was excellent.
Overall the food was fair. Nothing to rave about. The Taco Salad with the Fajitas Steak was... 4 out of 10. The cheese dip was rather bland... Not very spicy at all. It's been years... Like nearly 10 years since I've been to Don Pepe. It'll probably be another 10 before I go back. Just saying. 🤷

We waited 15 minutes at LaPaz in Mt Laurel without any service... must have been invisible! So we left and went to DonPepe, which we hadn't visited in ten years. It was excellent with fast service, great food, right proportions, and waiter personality. We will be back and ask for Daniel!

Holy 3lbs burrito! Mexican Restaurant makes me want to dance!

Awesome food, huge portions and cool environment. Our service was on point and everything about the place was 5 stars in my experience.

Came from out of town and stopped by, got the chicken fajitas and they were great and some guys ordered a burrito which was the biggest burrito I've ever seen literally.

Just got 3 alacarte tacos with onion and cilantro for $24.00. No clear pricing and the quality is not worth that price. Need transparency and not to just over charge to run up bill. I doubt I’ll be back and be sure to ask server about pricing before ordering something that is not listed.

Was seated immediately around 2pm. Food was ok. Shreaded chicken was dry on nachos. Salsa was really good. Margaritas tasted good but don't think there was any tequila in them. Servers friendly. Prices were reasonable. Would eat here again when in the area.

The taco was soggy. The salsa was very spicy. The service was slim to none. I will not go back to this restaurant. I could have went to a nice restaurant for what I paid for us to eat at this one. We had a party of three and none of us was happy with our food.

Friday Oct 13,2023 I went to dinner here with my husband, daughter and daughters friend. Our food was good, service was fast for a busy Friday night, and by all accounts we were happy. I pay the bill with my debit card, leave a cash tip on the table. I always make a habit of writing “cash” in the tip line when I leave cash, just so it’s noted. Well this location decided that wasn’t enough and debited an extra $10 on my card. I have called and emailed about this and no response so I am leaving this review to remind everyone to watch out as they like to steal from paying customers.

Food was pretty good but service was TERRIBLE! We ordered and were never checked on again once our food came. All 4 of us needed drink refills we never were able to get and then waited 20 min to get our check. I tried flagging two people down and finally got the hostess to get our check. They claimed it was because they were busy but that is no excuse. I don’t know if we would go back. Plenty of other restaurants with way better service when they are just as busy.

Summary...they put the "meh" in Mexican. Stopped here after discovering Besitos on 280 had permanently closed. The food and flavor profiles lack any freshness whatsoever. Nachos were tasteless and soft tacos had no spice with so much grease they basically disintegrated. Service was non existent, Pedro, the server, never checked back after food was delivered and we waited quite awhile for the check. Hard to understand because they were nearly empty. If you enjoyed the fresh taste and ingredients of Besitos, this place is definitely a let down...that place will be sorely missed. If you are okay with mediocre food and service you won't mind a bit.

Mexican food advocate . Are at don pepe today for lunch ; got a quesadilla rice n beans with chz on the rice. It cost $23.33. Very average sized , and food was mediocre. 23$!!!!

I went there for lunch and you got a good amount of food for $10, but my taco literally just had ground beef in it. No lettuce, tomatoes, cheese or sauce.

My Family and I eat here frequently. However, my last experience with the service staff has driven me to write a bad review. The food was served quickly, food was decent, but the server was rude, dismissive, impatient and unfriendly. I will not name a name but hopefully management will address this with all staff so there are appropriate manners and customary service followed. Going forward, I will go to another Mexican restaraunt rather than returning to this location.

DO NOT GO HERE! They say they close at 10:30 yet tell you they are closed if you call at 9:30 to place a to go order. They also add tips to receipts without customer permission. Basically theft. Shouldn’t be allowed to operate when lying about operating hours AND stealing money.

Absolutely horrible Service. I never leave reviews. Ever. But was left speechless by how we were treated. Ordered two margarita drinks and cheese dip. Took one sip of our drinks and they were horrible. I don’t complain ….but these were horrible. Took 20 min for a server to come back and check on us. (They we’re not busy at all) we actually had to go and ask someone to send us our server. We told him about our drinks. He walked away. Took another 15 min and us waving down someone else……for someone to tell us They wouldn’t make a new one or switch it out. So we asked for the check for the cheese dip. That we would go eat and drink somewhere else. They refused to compensate us for the drinks we didn’t drink. And our bill was over 55 dollars.
He then proceeded to show us on the menu where it says no returns or exchanges. Says ALOT about a restaurant that has to put that on the menu. I’ve never ever seen that on a menu.
If they would have tried the drink they would also know how bad it was. If they would have switched it out. We would have ordered dinner and more drinks. Good customer service goes a long way.
We will never …ever be back.

The entire staff is welcoming and we are greeted like old friends every time my family visits. They are always accommodating and make every effort to ensure a pleasant experience for customers. Everything we've tried has been delicious, especially the fajitas and the roasted salsa, which you can request with your chips. It's fantastic and smoky, and seems to be a favorite. The margaritas are not too sweet, and they have a nice selection of mixed drinks and beer.

Had lunch here, very friendly staff, quick service. Had the taco salads with beef and “the works”. Big portion! Could do with more “salad” in the salad but otherwise enjoyed our meal, service and the decor very much.

Always a good place to get your fix of Mexican food. The staff is friendly and always does a great job. There is a large selection on the menu. I usually alternate between enchiladas and burritos and both are excellent.

It's 2022 & menu prices seem to have gone up, just like everything else. Food was good, I had a shrimp salad for $18. Maybe 6-7 medium shrimp, avocado & plenty of veggies (I was full).
Watch the bill, it looks like the suggested tip is based on after tax amount.

Been going there for a long time and it's been awesome. Went there last month for my husband's birthday on April 16th. There was all the same faces and great food. Went there for my birthday last night and they had a whole new crew including kitchen manager. We got served stale chips and the waitress wasn't bright at all. We placed our order and he didn't get all of his order and asked her if she noticed what's missing and she looked confused. He didn't receive his tortilla shells. Mine was completely wrong and when I told her this she replied that she didn't bring me my food. After trying to explain it to a female Forrest Gump there I asked to speak to the manager. She comes back to the table and asked if I wanted it replaced and said yes. That was the last time I saw her. A guy brought me a new dish and didn't say a word and left. Another guy ran over there and threw our bill down and ran off. The food had no taste, the waitress was dumb, chips were stale, and had another waitress glare at us from another table. Recommend that you don't waste your time or money on this horriffic establishment.

I've been eating there for 2 years. The food was awesome, the service was fantastic, and staff was great. It was my favorite restaurant. Till last night. The waitress was not the brightest, and not very attentive at all. The chips were stale.The food had no flavor and was not worth what they charge. When my wife told her that her order was wrong, her response was I didn't make it I just brought it to you, I don't know you expect me to about it. (We didn't leave her a tip) after talking to the manager they replaced her order and still didn't get it right. We noticed that we didn't see the usual staff.and we will ever go back.

The first few times we came here, the food was really good. Everything was seasoned well and the meat was cooked perfectly. The last several times have been poor. Our server this evening was sweet. They were serving very stale chips. I got a Señor Burrito which arrrived ice cold. The first bite tasted like rancid beans with lettuce. I started pulling the filling out and discovered that it was a lettuce burrito (that explains why it was cold) . I informed the manager who was supervising our server and he said, “oh well” and still charged us for a meal that went uneaten. We will never return nor recommend. Terrible food and terrible service from management.

It's a little pricey but it's definitely worth going to. Food was absolutely amazing. Probably the best cheese dip in my life; a hint of pepper flavor without pepper chunks. The tortillas on the chimichangas were perfect. They serve the side salad in a tortilla bowl, my husband loved it. And the service was just exceptional. I'm excited to come back and try more of the menu.

Inside decor is very nice...as if u are in a mexican village. Friendly staff, and good food for a price. Best part of their menu is that theh have a mexican section with authentic dishes that you will not find at your regular texmex or syanfard mexican resturants here. Very nice bar area and their drinks menu is fantastic. Truely a hidden gem on 280.

Went to eat cheese dip and at 2 taco meal 1st they bring out a large cheese dip i didnt ask for large got the one I ask for im fine with one miss up order my food eveytime I've came here the ask beef or chicken then ask soft or hard. I want soft tacos forgot that but was never asked about when I remember they told who ever in the back but I GUESS it was to late 1 min later HARD tacos come out. I push It to the other side of the table as i can take with me later (have someone how would eat it) but they I guess saw that I didn't want they fixed the issue with soft after they took the food and I said ill just pay for the cheese dip since that was all I was eating anyway after the hard tacos where taken
