Authentic, authentic, authentic ! I haven't visited this restaurant in over a decade but the experience was just as great as the first experience that I've had. They're open very late, which is awesome for people who like to experience the nightlife and get something to eat afterwards. The food is awesome. I had the quesadilla with rice and beans, fresh salad, & guacamole that was made to order with fresh limes. Customer service was excellent from beginning to end. We were immediately seated upon arrival with no hesitation of service. I will definitely be back. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food.

This is my late night jewel. I've been several times here. Friendly staff,clean, not a long wait time for food. They have great menudo and tacos. It's my go to dishes

This place has great food, and a definite hole in the wall vibe. Very much feels like a place that caters to its community.

They're open really late, and serve food late too. It helps to know a little Spanish because the menus don't explain every item, but you don't *have* to. Overall, great spot for authentic Mexican that doesn't feel like a tourist trap.

The food was not good at all; didn't taste like authentic Mexican food too me. No disrespect, It just had a bad taste. I love Mexican food and eat it all the time. The margaritas had a bad after taste. ( I had frozen) gave mines to someone else. But, the service was great and the people was nice! 🙂

I will never return to this town of Birmingham again. After eating here we went to get gas and there was a dude asking my gf for money. Pretty sure he was thinking about trying to rob us. One of the customers in the station was acting sketchy too. Now as for the restaurant the food was good. There was hardly anyone there and it was a long wait for food. Their sauce is a bit different..I prefer traditional style salsa. Waitress was very courteous and professional. The music was pretty loud though and could have been turned down

El lugar súper, pero a la manager le falta clases de moralidad,es una prepotente, que por no saber conocer licencia de otros estados, piensas que es falsa, me dijo que llamaría la policía
Y le dije que lo hiciera y si quería asegurar que si era falsa, pero su prepotencia no la deja escuchar, de respeto y cultura le falta mucho, no sabe como tratar a los clientes, es muy soberbia, pienso que personas como ella que no tienen paciencia no deberías de trabajar en lugares público atendiendo y humillando a las personas, y para pedir respeto, primero debería de aprender a respetar ella y comportarse como una manager y saber escuchar primero, pero es al contrario de todo, se cree la dueńa del lugar, y habla con prepotencia.... asco de persona,

I came around 4 pm on a Saturday and the place was basically empty.i got the Pollo Ranchero and it was delish. The veggies were tender and warm and the chicken was well seasoned. The refried beans were creamy and beany. The rice was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back.

Authentic and amazing food. Beware of reviewers that cant even spell meat correctly..doubt the have been very far out of the city let alone to central Mexico. This food is absolutely authentic and delicious.

Everyone was friendly and the service was quick, And by that I mean I sat down and 3 minutes later I had food in front of me. Food was below average, I don’t even think it came close to Tex mex food, let alone “authentic” Mexican food.

This was by far the worse experience that I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. The service was terrible, food was aweful, and the whole atmosphere was eerie and seemed to want me to leave. The staff was absent after our food was brought. We had to ask them to come from the kitchen so that we could pay and leave. Save your money and go anywhere else!

The chicken smelled off putting, the service was terrible, and the atmosphere was unwelcoming. I felt as if i was a hindrance to them. Took them five mintues to come to front so we could pay. I wondered why they sold Uhaul rents and why there was a stair case to a strip club. I now know one is to supplement income and the other is for escape!! If i could do less than one star I would.
