Normally, for over twenty years , very good food with value. Today 1 beef taco, 1 chicken taco with rice and beans .
Normally 9.99$ plus tax and tip, but
Today $ 16.83 plus a usual $2.00 tip to get something to go . I love this spot but I guess I have taco taste on a bean and rice budget. Can’t pay two hours wage for lunch !. It’s on me but never again.

Great authentic food for a good price. Have had many items on the
menu and they never disappoint. Their green and red salsa are both delicious and both have a good amount of heat to flavor ratio. If you want authentic Mexican food, and not tex mex. This is your place.

Only place that makes me feel back in Mexico.
This is the place to eat if you want great Mexican food. I’ve loved everything that I’ve tried. Their carnitas and pozole are 10/10!

Anyway...Go in at 10:30 am on a weekday. Have cash and start at the highest door. Buy two boxes of pastries. Point and smile if no espanol. Cream horns and anything with cinnamon or chocolate.
Remember, these people invented chocolate.
Go down the stairs and get tacos if you're solo. If you have friends get a pound of lamb and a pound of something else. Get lengua and tell your friends it's pot roast. Ask for clamshells and load them up at the condiment bar. Ask for a stack of maize tortillas.
Be a hero.
Lower floor isn't worth a stop.

Good prices and very authentic. The atmosphere is very rural Mexican cantina. So nothing fancy but cozy. Hope you understand Spanish. I needed help ordering from the menu. Delicious food, good prices, and fast service.
