Los Rancheros Mexican Grill Forestdale

The food was hot and flavorful and didn't take too long to prepare. The chimichanga was nicely browned/ crisp as I like it. The chicken was shredded thoroughly and was tender and juicy with a hint of pepper heat , with only sparse pieces mingled in the filling.The prices for the lunch special were reasonable. I believe that this dish, which comes with rice and beans, is usually covered in cheese alone, though they happily added tomatoes for me. The cashier served me and another couple who ate in, and several customers picked up lunch orders. I believe the chandeliers must be remnants of the old Hickory House that originally occupied that building as they clash a bit aesthetically with the heavy and brightly painted ,carved furniture. The bench sit was very comfortable. The large space filled with light. But there seemed to be a bit of a cold draft nearest the windows. It's hard to tell, though, as the ceiling fans were still all running on high up in the high ceiling . I was especially pleased with the flavorful rice as it is the first I've ever had at any Mexican restaurant that was spiced/tomato sauced heavy enough. Overall, I believe I will visit again when in the area.

Very text Max Mexicali Im from California so I really liked the cuisine.. it was very good the service the drinks my margarita was perfect- I love everything about it

I’ve always done takeout or I’ve always order to go for the teachers at the schools that I work at
but I’ve never dine in but the dining in experience was very nice I appreciate the service the food everything was wonderful I had the best time of my life they definitely got my attention I will be coming here more often then just take out I loved it thank you..-,

Wow!!!! Best establishment in the 35214, I'm more impressed and in awe of their production of food preparation coupled with killer serving! Oh the ambiance makes Los Rancheros my favorite of all 78 eateries!!

My husband and I have been here twice and we have enjoyed our meals on each visit. The dinning area is clean, the staff is friendly (the one who took our order each time), our food was hot and we didn't have to wait long.

We actually come to Forsetdale for a Chinese Buffet, Golden Wok but Google was not correct so we came here and so happy we did. I didn't get our servers name( I forgot) but he was AMAZING! We basically got our food as soon as we ordered it and it was nothing less than delicious! I would highly recommend this place!

It makes perfect sense why the other two Mexican restaurants in the Adamsville Forestdale area are always packed and Los Rancheros has an empty lot.Ordered Alexander tacos. I said beef the waiter said steak. I said yes. And NO beans. He brought the plate.with beans and chicken. When we called him over to correct it he actually asked if I wanted to order another steak plate? We gave up that night boxed it and fed it to the dog.
Trying again Tonight there was no other people in the place besides us three. Had to wave down someone to take our order. We were served plates had to ask for drnk and utensils. Ordered a child’s cheeseburger plate and then an extra just kids burger to go. He brought the bill and it was $5.95 for the cheeseburger plate and then $9.95 for the extra burger. I opened the boxes to look and it was 2 identical size burgers. When I asked he said one was adult and the bun was different. Said I didn’t order an adult me just an extra kids burger. Told him he needed to correct it. He said no picked my card off the table and ran it for the full amount. I told him we wouldn’t be back he said “so” and “ok”. Said he just worked there. Like really?

This place has good cooks but the guy older guy that seats and take orders is not very friendly, no smile, and if you decide to change order, he's smart at the mouth and rude, then I'd very dry for the rest of the dining, ignire you after you make a mistake or is undecided, if he is the owner, truly a bummer for customer service and professional business, I pray he get a change of ❤️

The older male waiter overcharged me for a substitution I made without telling me. I ordered the 3 meat fajitas but instead of steak I wanted shrimp. He charged me for the 3 meats and $6.95 for the shrimp as well! I told him I still only got 3 meats not four that I'm being charged for but he refused to correct my bill. Although the food is excellent, atmosphere is quiet and excellent, location is near my house excellent, I refuse to be taken advantage of like that again so I'll travel back across town for my fajitas from now on. I know losing one customer is of no affect for them so hopefully no one else will share my experience.

Food is good, but it's hard to order the good food when they REFUSE to post hours when they close on random days and will NOT answer the phone 80% of the time!!!

Also, while I understand your hours are posted on Google and your doors, that does not help customers when you have been randomly closed when Google hours say you are open. It isn't about the paper hanging on your doors, it's about saying you're open and that not being the case.

We love this place for Mexican. The food is consistent everytime we visit. The price is reasonable for a good portion. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff is friendly. It is our favorite place for a family outing locally. They have a large area that can be used for parties as well. We had a baby shower there and they were so accommodating.

Antonio's Special... try it! Our second time visiting was equally amazing as our first. The friendliest staff with really good food. The outside isn't impressive, but it is clean clean on the inside. A true hidden in plain sight gem!

THOSE NACHOS MAN!!! I always Nachos Supreme, remove the lettuce, add fresh onion and avocado. They're always huge, hot, and delicious. One of the best tex-mex places ANYWHERE, much less in Forestdale.

I did not like the food at this particular Los Rancheros restaurant in Forestdale. I called in an order and picked it up one night. The only thing I was able to eat was the chips, salsa, & cheese dip. I ordered the burrito supreme with rice & beans. The lettuce & tomatoes were not fresh at all and they had a yellowish looking color to them so I just scraped all of it off. The rice was hard and it had a different taste than the usual rice they use and the beans were real thick and didn't seem to be done or maybe it was cooked too long but I didn't like any of it. I won't be going back to this one or recommending it to any friend's or family either.

Got charged 12$ for an order of cheese dip that was only a half of a cup full of the dip. Me and my family love this restaurant but the prices have changed dramatically recently. 12$ is usually half of our bill when we eat here. (including the dip) I’m not sure if it is new management but I will never pay 12$ for a small cup of cheese again.

Its was good for what I ordered. Cheese, beef and chicken enchiladas. The salsa wasn't hot or mild but had ok flavor. Nice and friendly staff. It was our first time here, may give them another chance.
