Excellent, fresh authentic Mexican food made locally. Prepared immediately upon order. Friendly and quick service. Reasonably priced a La carte options, posted above order window. Simple presentation. No frills setting. Somewhat Noisy due to tvs or guests or kitchen staff. But, very delicious authentic tamales, tacos served on corn tortillas, sopa, etc. with very tasty Horchata.

I clearly asked the guy if the chicken is grilled and look what he gave me: this garbage looks like it was steamed or something. They think we never had grilled chicken or tacos before. $3/each. It cost me $25 including tips. No restrooms either.

If this was at Pepper Place or The Preserve in Hoover they would need a forklift for night deposits.
Well, Man Up and drive to Finley.
Nice folks, very clean place and above average Mexican street food.
Real tamales are a personal favorite and VERY hard to find in the Ham.
3 for $8 here.

This is an absolute gem! Street tacos, tortes, carne asada meals, they have it all! And the people are super friendly. 10/10 recommend! Oh and the mango water is my choice drink…def a must try!

Thank you for tamales, the first ones I have had in 10 years. They were awesome, just like the ones that I love from my friends in Texas. You will find them at the Farmers Market on Finkey Avenue. Small spot but filled with lots of hungry people wanting authentic Mexican food. Go to Taco Bell if you want ground beef, lettuce, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and hard flour tortillas but RUN to Taqueria LA Herradura if you want authentic, fresh ingredients such as tomatoes, corn and beans, with traditional spices, such as chiles and coriander, with fresh, soft corn tortillas.

That's my report and I'm sticking with it!

Best Hispanic restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life.
Everything is authentic and good. They even have glass bottled beverages. A little hard to find, but well worth the search

The owners are really nice people and the food is awesome! I suggest sopes or gordita. They also made a special pork chop with cactus a few years back when I was eating pork, really tasty if you eat pork!

I delivered plants here from Georgia last year and once I knew I was coming back to this farmers market I knew where I was going to sit and enjoy an excellent Torta. SO GOOD. Looking forward to next time I’m delivering here.

Nice small authentic Taqueria. It's not a big fancy restaurant, what is honest quality food. Amazing. Great for lunch or a quick husband wife dinner. Casual. They got a wonderful Habanero cream sauce for tacos that gives a little kick but tastes great.

Brush up on your Spanish! It’s best in B’ham!

Thank you for tamales, the first ones I have had in 10 years. They were awesome, just like the ones that I love from my friends in Texas. You will find them at the Farmers Market on Finkey Avenue. Small spot but filled with lots of hungry people wanting authentic Mexican food. Go to Taco Bell if you want ground beef, lettuce, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and hard flour tortillas but RUN to Taqueria LA Herradura if you want authentic, fresh ingredients such as tomatoes, corn and beans, with traditional spices, such as chiles and coriander, with fresh, soft corn tortillas.

For what me n my daughter ate was ok nothing 2 shout about salsa not good n I normally love most salsa n the chips they bring 2 table b4 u eat but this was not so good n I had combination fajitas n skillet wasn't even frying like it normally is like they just have may b big pots of the meats already cook just put on skillet n bring 2 u chicken was on the dry side steak a little tuff shrimp was ok wont b going back no time soon oh 4got I know most times I'm out 4 Mexican the places always bring Pico more salsa n sour cream this place I had 2 ask 4 it CRAZY 🤪😜!!!

This place is definitely one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in Birmingham. This was my first visit and it was beyond delicious. I had a large steak burrito, and a chicken taco and I almost ate the box it came in because everything was so delicious! I haven't had tacos and burritos this great since I left California. It's located in the Farmers Market, and makes for a great lunch spot if you happen to be out shopping. I can't wait to get back and explore all the awesome menu options. I would've posted photos, but I ate it all soooooo quick😋😂

They have absolutely massive Burritos for 10 dollars and they are insanely amazing. Only two of the employees speak English and they are always packed out during lunch. (When I go) but it's well worth it.

An unexpected find in the middle of the Farmer's Market this new restaurant is authentic Mexican food. The owner sources all she cooks from within the Farmer's market and cooks it fresh daily. Prices are quite reasonable and worth stopping in for the food. They offer a daily plate special and today we chose to have the tacos and tortas. Don't forget to browse through the candies and treats before leaving take a little sweet treat with you. Enjoy!
