Tacos, Burritos and Bowls...And Bar!
Fresh carnitas, al pastor, steak, chicken, beef, shrimp, fish, even tofu, loaded up with fresh ingredients and scratch made salsas and sauces. And a full bar featuring fresh squeezed juices, margaritas, and imaginative cocktails.
Pretty homely taco and burrito place. The eating area was clean, and the employees were really nice. They were constantly up and about ensuring tables were clean as soon as customers left. The manager also checked up on us every now and then to make sure we were alright and didn't need anything. The quality of the meat in the tacos was pretty nice, but it can seem a little pricy for those used to eating less "deluxe" tacos. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service. Fresh, and not greasy.
I would certainly place it as the best Mexican restaurant overall on the 280 corridor.
Spoke to the manager Joel. He’s done a great job with his hiring. Friendly staff, and a great vibe. He’s set a great tone.
There are reviews on here that are patently ridiculous and I’m glad we didn’t base our decision to come on those few… our expectations were “trampled” in a great way. We will be regulars…

Really good flavors here. Upscale street tacos and burritos. Quick service, but kind of tight inside. Will be back to try some drinks and other food sometime.

Trampled is definitely a good name for this place the food taste like it's been trampled utterly nasty.
First let me start by the shoe leather steak that seems like you're eating alligator skin then the so-called Mexican corn elote was corn straight out of the can ridiculous. This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had in 57 years and that's saying a lot because I'm a chef and I eat out everywhere. The corn at the very bottom had water I had to pour the water out of the corn so then I called over the manager and told her the corn was out of the can and she said yes so I sent that back. There was nothing that I had that was good very very low quality food.

The food is good. As a busy real estate agent in 35242 area, I stop in here all the time to meet people or just eat alone. I am never a fan of ordering at a counter and taking a number. I prefer table service. They also make it complicated if you want to order a drink because that's separate at the bar. I enjoy the food and would visit more if it was a better experience.

Fast casual taco spot. Order at the counter and seat yourself with your given number.
Order (chose all with flour tortillas):
"Strong Like Bull" - Steak taco, guac, corn, queso fresco. Steak was dry and had no flavor. Toppings were just okay. Maybe a sauce would have helped.
"Tan Lines" - Mahi, I believe cilantro ranch, pineapple pico, queso fresco. Flavor on the fish was tasty, but the fish was overcooked. Toppings complimented the Mahi well.
"The Low Rider" - Chicken, cilantro ranch, black beans, lettuce, pico. Lacked flavor again and held up horribly in the tortilla.
Overall, the price point doesn't match the quality or serving size. The individuals working were friendly and the space was clean. May give them a second try, but I honestly doubt l will return.

I ordered the Mahi taco it was ok my wife got the nachos, she got to choose 8 ingredients but they didn't put the 8 ingredients she ordered on the nachos, they just added extra corn and onions for beans and a pineapple pico. There was a tiny amount of meat and the meat was bland, there was plenty of corn and onions though..

We just moved here from Austin and was hoping to find a great place for tacos and drinks. Let me tell you This place has delicious tacos and bowls. The carnitas and Barbacoa on corn tortillas is legit!!!
Corn tortillas are the best I’ve had.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great lunchtime spot in the 280/Meadowbrook/Greystone area. We went with a large (10+) group and everything came out timely, tasted good and with very attentive service.

Stopped here for a quick meal on the way back to home to Auburn only to find this gem that’s only been here for 3 weeks. The food was great! The bartender, Dominique, is awesome and her margaritas are top notch! Trampled by Tacos is a new fav that I’m adding to my stops every time we travel through B’ham.

The service and atmosphere were good. The food however…. Very western pasty inspired when it came to the seasoning. There is a misconception that spice equals flavor.
