This is a casual, humble street taco shop - nothing fancy here - well except for the tacos which are outstanding! Great value, very tasty, super speedy. Great spot for a quick lunch. Lots of parking and the lot can accommodate a camper. Shout out for crazy good pickled carrots!

This is Davey L. Rich, the owner of Best Burgers in America, who also loves Authentic Mexican food. WOW! This is an awesome restaurant with great Authentic food. My wife and I got the California Burrito and were very impressed by the flavor, Freshness, and price. If you love Authentic Food, you must make this restaurant a place to eat. Great Job!

Absolutely phenomenal food, served with top notch customer service, with an authentic and inviting atmosphere. Prices are more than fair. 100% would recommend to anyone who is in the mood for some good food 😀

Had their chicken quesadilla and their chicken california burrito. The quesadillas were simple, but super flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly! The burrito was massive! Same chicken used in the quesadillas but paired with rice, beans, cheese, pico and lettuce! Definitely going to fill you up and you'll be more then happy with quality and quantity!
2 quesadillas and 1 burrito ran me less then $20! Definitely worth it to come try this place!!

The food was bland . I had a chicken quesadilla and it had no flavor at all. The chicken was supposed to be shredded and it was in big chunks barely shredded at all. The cheese sauce didn’t taste like cheese sauce we get other places.

I Have been coming to this resturant for years while visiting Albertville. I also bought large orders of tamales to bring home to Delaware with me. I was so disappointed with the quality of food when I went in early April! The chicken on taco and tamale looked like it was straight from a can. No seasoning, flavor or color. The quality and flavor dropped from 10+ to 0. I was so sad at the loss of one of my favorite places in Albertville. Perhaps someone new is in charge now but whatever happened, it is sad.

I am a soup person and don't find many places where soup is a main item. At SC, it is a standalone item and serving sizes are a meal's worth. You get lumps of chicken, not a few strands, and you can add other free ingredients to it. It has been my go to place when I'm looking for great cooking and Mexican food.

The best restaurant in Boaz hands down! They are always the sweetest, the food (TACOS!!!) is always wonderful. I was extremely sad when I saw they shut down across the road but let out a happy gasp when I saw they were opening beside Dollar Tree! We come in 2-3 times weekly, mostly take out. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Definitely recommend, tacos de asada are 🔥. Red tamales are very delicious too. Tries the ceviche, it was freshly made. Really good food! Service is always very friendly. Clean place & always good music .

Absolutely delicious authentic food! (no heavy spice mixtures drowning out the flavor of the meat or other foods) Found the place by divine luck... my boyfriend wanted Krystal's & I'm not a huge fan of burger/fast food places, so when I saw the sign for Speedy Gonzalez I was immediately set in my mind to try it. A Latino restaurant in a small building like they have definitely intrigued me (out of the way or small establishments usually equal to OUTSTANDING food in my experience). I am now an addict of their food... I literally tell everyone about this place & any trips we have to make out close to them I demand my boyfriend stop so I can order some goodies.... Well, errr ok I'll be honest, I order ALOT of goodies... LOL! It's def must to eat place!!!😋🥰

This place is so fast at getting food out! I got the taco salad, but don't eat cheese, so my taco salad was lettuce carrots and chicken. Kinda of boring, but I'm sure some of it was the cheese, because they put 2 different types on it.
The chips and salsa were amazing. We spent $55 for 4 of us to eat. A little pricey, but pretty good.

I LOVE THEIR TACOS. They are so nice too. It’s honestly my favorite Mexican restaurant. I’m so excited for the new location and I look forward to eating inside. The shredded pork is TO DIE FOR!! And my boyfriend loves the burritos. I can’t say enough good things about them.

My son and some friends just went to Speedy’s and they are closed! Signage is gone. No notes about a move. Anyone have info? This is one of our absolute favorites.

Update: We found out they are apparently moving again just across Hwy431 beside Hibbett. I’m fired up because my Tacos are not gone after all!

Very good place to eat at. They don't give you small amounts on food either. I eat a large amount for a 6' 200lbs person. And they LARGE portions of food. My wife's favorite food here though is pickled carrots. But overall everything to me has been spot on!

This is a response to all the folks who reviewed Speedy’s and said they have the best tacos they have ever eaten. I could not agree more. They are fantastic, and they are all great. Pork is my favorite, but there are no bad choices. Everything else is great as well. Definitely a favorite.
