Typical Mexican restaurant in Alabama. The food was good but nothing special, the server was nice but once again didn’t go above or beyond in his duties. The dining room was clean but is aged. I would like to try them again when they are busy to see if the atmosphere perks up.

Update 6/2/2022- I had fajita nachos tonight and they were yummy. Should’ve asked to leave off the jalapeños though. Not a fan.

I was traveling to the area for business and saw this place on Google. Fantastic food and service. Food comes with free chips and salsa! I got tacos on Taco Tuesday and they were hot and fresh. They were even so good I had to get a second order.

Friendly service that makes you feel right at home - definitely would recommend.

I love it here. Best part is their fajita meat- it's unbelievably tender. I know folks that will drive out of their way just to eat at La Casa.

So my girl and business associate Stephanie and I absolutely 💯 LOVED this place! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed some delicious La Casa crimson nachos and a 🍹Margarita! Whoops! What’s out for those margaritas! Be sure to get some water 💦 with lemon 🍋 … The cheese dip is excellent but only get the fresh chopped jalapeños if you want your mouth to be on 🔥 fire! I think they my pickle their own jalapeños, sliced for nachos… Those were really good.
We sat out on the patio and it was a wonderful early fall. Chris cool evening and we even socialized a little bit with another couple and a family out on the patio…
The next time we go, we’re going to have the thing that comes in the pineapple that looked really really good in the family next to us had it, but we were already too full from our nachos and salsa and chips which are all wonderful by the way and the service is even better. Very highly recommend this place.

Being in an extremely small community, having a quality restaurant like this is priceless. No need for a long commute to have a very nice meal when the good folks at la casa crimson are close by. Whether you'd like a night of margaritas, hamburger steak, or very good Mexican food, they got you covered with good prices to boot. A treasure here in Brookwood Alabama.

Waited for 30mins, a family same size as ours was let go before us.. I said something to them but sat waiting another 30mins. Don't know why it feels different. But the people are not as nice. The girl at the front counter was extremely rude.
We left and headed to Jalapeños!

Frozen salsa was not good... The whole top of my salsa was frozen I called to tell them and all they said was it comes Free with the meal... nevertheless it was sickening.... not that I would come back for just salsa but the lady i spoke to acted like it wasn't true... won't be back.wish I could post a picture 🤢

Not the biggest fan of the atmosphere here, but the tacos were what you'd expect from shredded chicken and cheese. Guacamole was great. "Cheese dip" (basically a cheese soup) tasted interesting. Not bad. Just interesting. Service was good. Very kind and attentive.

La Casa Crimson is my all time favorite Mexican restaurants! I do visit other Mexican restaurants, but I am a local, so we go here more. I have never had an issue with service or quality of food. They are even friendly and patient with the kiddos.

We always enjoy LA Casa Crimson. The food,server the atmosphere is always great. But tonight I ordered the chili rellenos. I can't find authentic chili relleno anywhere till tonight. Thanks for taking the time to make them the right way.

My new favorite spot when in the mood for Mexican Cuisine. I have to agree, as their menu suggest "Mexican food with a Bama flare". Many Mexican entrees and a variety of Meat & threes to choose from. Trying the Mashed Potatoes covered in white cheese is a must.

The place felt and smelled weirdly damp after the storm last night though. Slightly off-putting.

Updating my review today from years ago and I'm still as happy as I was then we moved here in 2015 and we've never been unhappy with the food or the service we received. Nice little Mexican restaurant in the heart of Brookwood. They have a great outside patio with plenty of tables to choose from- great during the warm months.

Had a quick lunch at this place today. Was seated and greeted quickly by the server. Everything came out quickly and correctly. Food had good flavor and large portions for the lunch menu. I left full and satisfied. Would recommend the place if your in the area.

Decided to give this place another try after 6 years because last time the food was absolutely disgusting. This time you could actually eat it but the chips tasted like they were old and the tortilla bread tasted old too and dry and mine was covered in cheese sauce . The only reason it is somewhat cheap is because they don't serve no side even at dinner. I will be driving the extra distance to go to Chabelys in Cottondale where they know how to make Mexican food tastes good.
I think the bar is the only reason people come here.

Very quick service that's perfect for a lunch break. Pretty standard food selection for a Mexican restaurant, with plenty of options in their lunch specials. The food itself was pretty good as well. Definitely good for the price. Affordable prices as well. I was able to have a lunch special with extra queso for just under $12. Definitely recommend.

I love this place. The staff are so good. They have never gotten our orders wrong, even when they are slammed. The pricing is really good. My family, a family of 3 can eat there for less than $50. The food is so good. Everything i had tried i have loved so far. Definitely 10/10
