The store itself, clean. Fresh meats, even shrimp and I'm from the gulf. Restaurant has great decor. Really authentic. Food was exactly that. Authentic. Will be visiting again.

Not going to lie. When we walked in we knew we were in a Mexican grocery store, but we did not know that there was a great Mexican restaurant located in the back. The food was delicious and appeared to be made with the freshest ingredients. The service was excellent and we were made to feel right at home. The seating is a little bit of a cafeteria style, but don't let that deter you from the delicious food. Not for the unadventurous but if you want to try something a little different this is a great restaurant.

Fabulous!! Their market has a wide variety of items and their food is awesome! I got the quesadilla combo. As you can tell from the pictures, I REALLY enjoyed it 😂 definitely would recommend!

This utterly disgusted me, and quite Frankly ruined my appetite. I couldn’t even eat my food and feel good about paying. Nothing was enjoyable, no privacy, no space; very crowded area overall just terrible. There was absolutely no cleaning process with the shrimp literal poop still on the food!!

Extremely racist to white people will over charge you and ignore you when u ask about it …. Because of your skin color . My Hispanic friends only pay 2:99 for there tacos and same for me when I’m with them if order or go in alone get charged 3.99…… and charge me for the sauce

Great little place to stop when traveling through the area. First time to visit, will again when in the area. Had the mixed Nachos with chicken, steak and shrimp. Definitely try the green sauce and grab a popsicle on the way out.

I tend to come here every other week, it's one of my favorite places for authentic Mexican cuisine. If you're looking to try quesabirria, I highly recommend this place.

We love this place. From the Tamarind Fruit Water to the food back in the restaurant, it is a special place. Yes, we are Gringos, but we have a special love and affinity for Latin and South America, and we also love Jesus. So, this place and the location in Fort Payne is a must stop for us. You hear Christian music, see friendly smiles, and there are always a couple of friendly English speakers.

Last night, we stopped to get some Tamarind water on our way home, and the place was closed early. I was upset, as my wife and I had been on a date and she wanted one and I wanted her to have it. I called and asked what time they closed, and the fellow on the phone said they closed early last night. Rather than say something I should not have said, I just rather rudely hung up on him. We backed out, and my cell phone rang. It was a local number so I answered. It was one of the owners/managers, and he said they would let me in to get what I needed and was very kind and apologetic.

THAT'S how you are the best. You simply care when others don't care. Los Reyes is a BLESSING to this region, and they will be around serving the public when many other businesses will come and go. Just because they CARE, and remember their humble beginnings and do not take any customer for granted.

This restaurant has the best guacamole! The chips are thick and hearty and can handle the guac. Great with a bottled Coke with cane sugar.

El lugar apesta los baños son un asco sucios y con muy muy mal olor. La comida fría y sin sabor. Las aguas no son fiestas son de jarabe o de polvo y la de coco en especial agua vieja me enferme y termine en el hospital. La mesa y el que cobra unos chicos tontos ignorantes y no saben hacer su trabajo y lo hacen con mala gana. Bueno en conclusión super caro por el precio. Y jamás entro hay de nuevo.

I love this place, I barely speak Spanish but I went in today to get me a Horchata and the lady knew exactly what I meant and I feel bad for her because I didn’t know what she was saying so I had to point it out and she was so nice, 10/10 on friendliness and 100/10 on the Horchata

No joke, I've are a lot of food in my life. This is quite possibly the best Mexican I have ever had, I would suggest getting an El Pastor torta it was almost a life changing meal.

I want to start by saying the food is absolutely FANTASTIC! Everything we ordered was amazing. We haven't had authentic Mexican this good since we moved from Chicago.
What earned them only 3 stars is their process. It's very chaotic. When we walked in there are no signs or anything to indicate whether we should seat ourselves. After asking I am told yes we seat ourselves but all the empty tables are messy with dirty dishes still on them. We stood for 20 minutes before they got around to clearing us a table. Then once we got a chance to order it took 40 minutes to get our food. The food was well worth the wait. We will definitely be back!

We went a while back and service was good then. Today it was horrible, they got our order wrong twice. I like to have never got my food and when it was brought to me it was not warm. The little skinny waitress we had a while back was good compared to the one we had today. We will probably not got back. Very disappointing in it today.

They got our order wrong. And it was advertised that they had curbside pickup but when we got there, they told my husband that he had had to go in. After we picked all of the steak (we don't eat mammals) out of the fajitas, they tasted pretty good. We may go back just to check out the grocery.

Very nice people. Great food, good portions, fresh made. Service is a little slow but polite and worth the wait. You can order and then wander around the Mexican grocery store for a few minutes. Wonderful place. Ill deffinately go back for more.
