Great place to go if you looking for official Mexican food. Complimentary chips and salsa, I had the fish taco dinner. Everything was cooked well and tasted better. Great beer with a 32oz draft option. The prices were really reasonable too. No complaints! Would definitely come back.

During my Independence Day weekend trip to Texas, I stumbled upon a Mexican restaurant while stopping to charge my car. The atmosphere was casual and inviting, with excellent service. I decided to try the chicken tacos paired with a spicy margarita. The tacos were absolutely delicious, and the tequila in the margarita had a satisfying kick that helped me rejuvenate after a long drive. The menu offered a wide range of options, including vegetarian dishes. Overall, it was a fantastic stop, and I highly recommend this place to others

Overall meal was great. The chorizo looked extra greasy at first glance, but was ok and wasn't to salty. The enchiladas were actually good considering it's not normally what I would go for. The meat actually tasted seasoned unlike many places. Although they did put a lot of lettuce on top. I was overall happy with the meal. I'll definitely revisit.

We came here because we are staying at the hotel across the street and we needed something easy. It was delicious! We had burritos, enchiladas, a vegetarian quesadilla, chips and salsa, and horchata. We're just passing through, but if we lived here we would come again. Quick, friendly service and great food.

Family run type restaurant. Fast and courteous service. Food was tasty.

Veggie Quesadilla, Mushroom Quesadilla, Cheese Dip, and Chips & Salsa were all good. Can't say for sure if the accompanying rice and refried beans were vegetarian though.

We happened upon this place while staying nearby. It was a much needed relaxing dinner. The cocktails hit the spot. I recommend the enchiladas. All of the food is satisfying and filling. The service is friendly;they took good care of us.

I finally was able to eat here after months of trying to find time. I had the fajita gumbo. Had more shrimp in it than I expected. This is not a complaint. Watch the bowl should you order. They warn you, but I'm an idiot. It's very hot. The kind where you can't let go fast enough hot. Will try other dishes in the future when time permits.

Final stop of my Grandson's 16th birthday celebration. Our server was wonderful and even gave my Grandson free dessert. The atmosphere was lively and comfortable as the 2 previous times we went there. We have every intention of being repeat customers. 🍽️

Told server specifically only chicken and cheese in out chimichanga and quesidilla she says ok got it only chicken snd cheese.. Once they arrive the plate is covered in lettuce and tomatoes, then upon opening the chimi we see tons of peppers and tomatoes. We call her over and she says oh it's c[ked with the chicken. My husband detests these and tried to ouck out to be able to eat and gave up to move on the the quesidillia to see it had even more veggies inside. He called her back and said can you take these I can't eat it like that. She took plates and left. Never asked if he wanted a different item or anything.

Ordered frozen margaritas and the waitress came back shortly and said it would be about 5-10 minutes before they would be ready. 20 minutes later, I asked how much longer on the drinks. She went to check. Came back and said another 15-20 minutes. Told her just to bring tea. Aside from that, everything else was really good!

They use white American cheese, for those who are not familiar with American cheese served at Mc Donald's and other chains this is the same except it's white. Probkem is classic Mexican uses Chihuahua cheese a Mexican staple. A good jack. Sadly their is a salty flavor due to the cheese. The beef usrd in the street tacos was chewy, dry which also took away from a fresh taco. People were nice enough, good location and plwnty of parking

We had a large group and were seated right away. Our waiter was the only one working or so it appeared. He did a very good job getting our orders and serving food. We were kept with full glasses. He was also the cashier, so we made sure and left him good tips. The food was very good.

I'm from Houston and grew up in South Texas and being far away from home makes me feel closer when I'm here. The food is authentic and the service is beyond reproach. I've seen one person give one bad rating lol he must be your competitors so do what you do best and I'll keep coming here every time my belly is empty. I want my baby back ribs so get in my belly!

Just came for a Modelo Negra when I ask for one I'll ask for a Morena, and a Paloma in English it's a butterfly, a tequila cocktail. You gotta come for their Paloma!!!

Still the best all others are left at second and third place. Come and see Mario he's owner waiter and cashier!!! Lol!

Went for lunch at 2:40. The chips were greasy, as in so greasy they were shiny. Inedible. The lady didn’t understand when I pointed it out. Salsa was okay. Just okay. Now for the food: I got taco , burrito, and enchiladas. The ground meat was bland, no spices. No color, no flavor. Since the same nondescript meat was In everything I get, everything was basically bland, depending on the sauces to provide redeeming flavor. That was too high a task for the bland meat. After such high reviews, I was very disappointed.

A supercharger was conveniently located near Azul Tequila and we popped in while we charged our car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stop here, great conversation with the bartender and amazing drinks! We also had salsa and queso, which were fantastic, and the rest of the food lineup looked wonderful as well! Highly recommend.

I am seriously wondering where all of these great reviews are coming from! Hostess was tweaky when we walked in. Server asked us if we were ready to order and we hadn't even ordered drinks. Proceeded to ask us 6 more times in less than 10 minutes if we were ready to order. Ordered the choriqueso... basically white velveta with chorizo. Decent. I ordered the enchiladas supremas... ugh Bland, bland, bland! Can I say bland! Husband ordered Carne asada mexicanos... dude meat like that is only suppose to just be kissed by the grill not beaten to death over fire! $60 for 3 margaritas, 1 appetizer and 2 entrées. Plus they charge you extra for using your credit card to pay. I get the convenience because it's walking distant to 2 hotels. Don't waste your time, your money or your taste buds

What a great place. We wandered in here while charging our car across the street. Evidently opened early 2022 and now have a liquor license. The seasoning on the fajita meat was the best I've ever had and I've had a lot. For the first time ever, a taco salad came in a flaky shell that was shaped like a taco and not a bowl. The chicken inside was cooked perfectly and was plentiful. Fresh tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, etc made this along the better taco salads we've had. I also posted this review on the charger apps so peeps know the stop here.

This place exceeded our expectations. Reviews were high, but a joint off an Interstate in Alabama? Darn tasty food. Margaritas were very nice, not too sweet or sour. The chips were fresh made, salsa was flavorful and not chunky. The queso did not get thick when it cooled, stayed similar consistency throughout out chips. My son and I love street tacos, and the offer them here, simple, but very good. We had 5 between us. Carne Asada and Carnitas. Onion and Cilantro with a lime wedge and Taco Sauce on the side. Will go there again on game day weekends! Staff was friendly, atmosphere made me feel like I could have been on a random spot in Mexico.

I am a Texan born in New Mexico. While the food was not Tex Mex or New Mexican, it was enjoyable. Mild, but they have at least 3 Mexican Hot Sauces on the Table. Hey Truckers-and you W E people too, definitely worth the short walk. Generous portions and reasonably priced!
