We returned for a lunch and found the service and food great as well as the surroundings. The outside looks a little rough and they done really have a sign. So its kind of like you have to know about it sort of thing. Odd but I do wish they would get a sign it couldnt hurt and would help identify them to passerby's. We had the mixed fajitas and even the lunch portion was way more then we could eat.
Service was very good and the atmosphere was nice on the inside.

Our food was amazing, absolutely pleased with the waiter, food, and the atmosphere our family loved it. We had flan, fried ice cream Nachos Mexicanos, Burrito can't remember the name and from the kids menu chicken and fries and taco rice and beans for sides.

The food was really good!!! We both got Pollo Loco, not wanting something too heavy, and it was delicious. We really enjoyed the chicken and vegetables!!! We will definitely be back. Our food looked just like the picture.

Took the grandkids out for dinner. They got kid stuff, but hubby got a burrito and I got the chicken and veggies. It was good. Nothing special but good. For the price, we all got full and took home a doggy bag.

I grew up in Cullman, and in my opinion, Cullman, AL has some of the best Mexican food places of any state I have visited. Los Cabos is one of those places. I have visited this place since I was a teenager with my then boyfriend, now husband. Every time we visit Cullman from Virginia, we bring our family here and it is still just as good as it was then. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Chimichanga and it was delicious. My husband and two kids enjoyed their food as well. We had a wonderful server who was so sweet and very attentive to our needs during our dining experience. We look forward to our next visit here.

Mango Margaritas….. are AMAZING!! The waitress was very attentive and very sweet! We ordered the double fajita’s and a chili relleno, the fajita’s were good and had decent flavor - the chili relleno was out of this world. The only thing that would have made it better was for the outer portion to be crispy. Would go back multiple times.

I grew up in Cullman, and in my opinion, Cullman, AL has some of the best Mexican food places of any state I have visited. Los Cabos is one of those places. I have visited this place since I was a teenager with my then boyfriend, now husband. Every time we visit Cullman from Virginia, we bring our family here and it is still just as good as it was then. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Chimichanga and it was delicious. My husband and two kids enjoyed their food as well. We had a wonderful server who was so sweet and very attentive to our needs during our dining experience. We look forward to our next visit here.

If I could give this place no star I would in a heartbeat we had ordered lunch here I had ordered the taco salad and ordered a beefy nacho the taco salad had carrots in it and I'm deathly allergic to it and the what was suppose to be beefy nachos they had gave us the crazy nachos so I called up there to get my order remade and they did alright they put so much hot stuff that it burned our mouths we will not ever be back here again.

My order : one soft Taco🌮 , one hard taco🌮, rice🍙🍚🌾 and beans🫘with a Diet Dr. Pepper🥤🤎🤍🖤to drink ( ended up getting the rice🍙🍚🌾and beans🫘that I didn’t finish to eat at home🏠

They said 30 minute wait but they were very fast with getting me and my Daddy Straight to an table at maybe 15 minutes ➖we stayed positive , patient and had great patience 💃

🟰Wanted to Eat here Cuz I dressed up a lot more with a beautiful sparkling✨Blue Shirt👕💙🩵 ( me and my daddy we did a toast clinging our glasses together to celebrate that I made it through an entire week of TMS Therapy Helmet Treatments with not having to take a break💃🥳🎉🎊

Today my boyfriend and I went to eat here and the service was not good at all. When walking in we were not greeted by the host. She looked up at us asked how many and sent us to follow her to look for an empty booth. Our server stood beside us at a POS system for 10 minutes before turning around and taking our drink order. That was also the first time she had spoken to us. When the food was brought out the person bringing out our food carelessly slid our plates in front of us. A refill was brought to the table for my boyfriend and it had been sat on the edge of the table. As soon as she walked off it fell off the table, and nobody approached after this incident until I myself got up and started trying to clean it up with napkins. The food was good but this place did not show any type of skill in Customer Service today being a restaurant.

Street tacos , tamales , chili renos, fajitas, best salsa- and chips and margaritas in town with friendly service. Janet and Candy are great servers. Everyone was real friendly and greeted us. Had a good dinner and great server Abigail.

My boyfriend and I came here Monday. During the slow time of the day. About two tables other than us. It took over 10 mins for our server to introduce himself by that time we were ready to order and told him that. But after getting our drink orders he just walks away. We wait another 15 minutes til he returns to take our order. Once we eat I ask for a to go box he brings it to me and it’s clear that we have finished eating. Then yet again we sit for another 25 mins waiting on him to bring us ours check. So we get up look around to find him. He’s no where to be found. Wr go to the cashier to ask her but she didn’t hear us because she was too busy in her phone. I have never walked out on a check before in my life. But expecting to be there for 30 mins about turns into an hour an a half. Like I said this happened Monday. Today is Wednesday. Today my boyfriend gets a DM from this restaurant and tells him after some research him and Averie. Using my name even spelling it right and texting him on social media. Now I know there was no body we knew in there and I know for sure they didn’t know our names for them to be dming us and knowing our names!! They had to do some deep diving. we ignore the DM. two hours later they Dm him again with two pictures of us one while we’re still in the restaurant. I think this is so unprofessional and seems a little wrong when you don’t even know who we are and for you to deep dive so much where you somehow find out names and social media and blow up our phone.

It was 2 of us dining in at lunch today Nov. 3, 23 . When the food is brought out to the tables, it custom to bring both plates out at same time. . My husband’s food was brought out then several minutes later mine was brought out. In the ladies bathroom the toilet paper dispenser and paper towel holder needs replaced. Their both duct taped together. It doesn’t look to nice for your establishment.

I like leaving very honest reviews, and every place has pros and cons so I'll start with the pros because I think this is a place worth stopping at and trying in Cullman, Alabama.

The pros:
The service was great. Selina is a wonderful hostess. I tipped her 30% of our bill, and I still felt it wasn't enough. She left a great impression on both me and my girlfriend.

The atmosphere he is terrific. A beautiful and creative interior design.

The lunch prices are great and very reasonable.

I had ordered a grilled chicken chimichanga lunch plate. The chimichanga was small but quite tasty.

We also had queso, which was a little different and pretty good. There was a hint of spice to it and a little bit of a tomato taste. I told my girlfriend it was a little "pimento-y".

The restrooms seemed very clean, but I will mention something about them in the cons.

The middle ground:
I genuinely believe there is potential for the beans and rice as the rice has a piece of green bean or a small green pepper in it and the beans had a hint of spice, but something was missing for me on both. The beans were a little runny and the rice was a little boring other than the one piece of whatever was green in it. I'd like to see a little more personality in the rice. The potential is there.

The cons:
A normal and not surprising con I usually give Mexican restaurants is about the salad. It was boring and cheap tasting, but this is unfortunately an expected thing when dining Mexican. They threw some different cheese on top of it which helped, but it still left a lot to be desired.

The salsa was a little different, not terrible, but not enjoyable to me. Maybe it should be in "the middle ground", but I appreciate a good salsa, and the salsa coming out in tiny plastic black cups already warned me about the quality of the salsa.

While the restrooms looked very clean, they also look like sketchy gas station restrooms. They desperately need renovated. Again, the toilets and sink were very clean. It just looks very trashy. A very minor complaint I'll throw in here is the combination of no paper towels and the fact the hand dryer is not obvious. It took me a second to realize it was the hand dryer as I was looking for paper towels.

My closing thoughts:
As this establishment has now celebrated it's 20th anniversary, I will say it was a pleasant experience with friendly and helpful employees. I do think there is room for improvement, and that I'd be happy to give this restaurant five stars the next time I'm in the area. The atmosphere and how great Selina was made me want to put 5 stars here already, but after seeing and experiencing it more, I felt I'd be dishonest if I rated it perfectly. Four stars is still a great review, and I think this place has a lot of potential if they just worked on a couple of things. I would recommend giving this place a try.

Me and my daughter ate there today. It wasn't busy & it took about 20 minutes for the guy to take our order. We both ordered fish tacos, the fish tasted like it was heated in the microwave. The guy never asked if we needed refills until I asked for the check. The food, service,etc was awesome last time I ate there 10 years ago. Sad to see it went downhill.

We just got in the bldg just before a really bad storm hit. Power flickered in & out while there. I have allergies so i asked for my food without Tomatoes & Onions, but to my dismay, my order still came with tomatoes mixed in with the meat inside my enchiladas. I picked the raw onions out of salad because i was able to see them. I didn't know the tomatoes were cooked with the meat inside my enchiladas till i began eating them. My husband got upset and said send them back. I was starving & didnt feel like waiting another 20 minutes to eat. Plus, i didn't want to tick anyone off in the kitchen so i sucked it up, ate about half of my chicken enchiladas and listened to my hubby gripe. My dish came with 3 Chicken Enchiladas w/ Salsa Verde on top, Rice and a Salad of lettuce, red onions & Sour Cream on top. My sister gave me her side plate of Refried Beans which she hates & I love!! I am still dealing with my allergic reaction to the tomatoes & onions. I break out in hives. I guess next time i have to state that I have a Real Allergy to those items so my food isn't made with them & they take me seriously.
My Sister ordered a Chicken Quesadilla with Rice and Salad. She said it was very good.
My husband ordered the Mister Burrito with Steak, Chicken and Shrimp, etc. He said it was really good.

While staying in Cullman for a few days for my husband's orientation with R.E. Garrison, we stumbled across this gem! The server, Selena, was FANTASTIC. She was super sweet, knowledgeable about the establishment, and friendly while not being intrusive. We were lucky enough to get her both days, once at dinner and the other at lunch. The street tacos with rice and refried beans are phenomenal and well seasoned, and the chips, queso, and salsa are great. I am originally from Texas and have a pretty high expectation for Mexican food, and this definitely met the standards!

Took my mom here for lunch. There was what I would think as an average number of guests inside so there was a steady hum of people enjoying their meal. When I ordered, with my very southern accent, their was a miscommunication and when the food was brought out, it was not what I intended. I explained that it was not what I had wanted but I would go ahead and take the plate. The server insisted she would make it right, returned my plate to the kitchen and within a very short time, brought exactly what I wanted. The staff is very friendly and I will return.

Food was absolutely awful, felt incredibly sick the day after. There were stains and handprints everywhere, pretty sure the food was undercooked. I would rather eat out of a dumpster behind a KFC. After the first bite I couldn’t eat any more.The inside of the restaurant was DISGUSTING ,floors had stuff everywhere and staff was not so perfect…😡 Waiters can’t even do there job OVERPRICED af!!!!!
