Good homemade authentic Mexican. Good service. Quick and efficient. Atmosphere is bright and colorful. Some Seats are torn. Must repair these to match the Atmosphere. Would be a smart thing to do. Server was friendly. My second time there. All in all good food!

Right off the bat the service was prompt and the employees were extremely polite. The chips and salsa came out instantaneously and our thirsts were quenched quickly. The proportions that they serve are amazing and if you leave this place still hungry than you probably should enter professional eating competitions. The tortas and tacos are a must have. And a fun trick is that if you want hot fries, places like this are the perfect place to order them.

We were told about this gem of a place from my wife's co-workers. We went in for lunch with no expectations, but were completely blown away.
The chips were not the best in town, but their salsa selection blows the competition away, so that alone is a win.
My wife had the steak chimichanga, while I wanted to try their taco carnitas. We were not disappointed and truly enjoyed every bite. The interior decor is beautiful and brightly lit, where other locations are dark and suspect.
The staff was very friendly and prompt on service.
We cannot wait until our next visit.

The food is great. They go all out with everything that comes with the chips and salsa. (See the picture) They serve 3 salsas 1 mild and two spicy. If you are in a hurry this is not the place to eat. Make sure you come with time to spare because they do cook their food from scratch.

OMG sooo good, from the chips and salsa that come complementary, to the burrito loco I had, wife had nachos, sil had enchilada and daughter had shrimp chimi. New fav place to Chow down. Bathrooms clean and smelled that way. Worth the stop 100%! P.S. daughter said awesome for pokemon

This place is so good I had to add another one. I still love the street tacos. But I found that the red salsa, that comes with the street tacos not the one with the chips, really clears up my sinuses. I found a favorite for when I get sick. The caldo de res with a side of rice and the red salsa (not the one for the chips).

Well, this place was a pleasant surprise. I have been to Mexico many times, and they do not eat what is served in American Mexican restaurants, BUT, this place hits pretty close in several areas. The sauces served with the chips (really hot but excellent), good salsa, lime, cilantro and onion, large portions, and just really good tasting food. Don’t come in here in a big hurry, be patient it is worth it. That is Mexico, they take their time at meal time and enjoy at length. If I make it to the state track meet again next year this place is on the agenda. Give ‘em a try.

The food was delicious!!! Got a taco salad with chicken. The service couldn't have been better. The restaurant was clean. Not much parking to the left of the building, but there may be additional parking that I didn't know about. I was there on a Saturday for lunch and was going back Monday while in the area, but they're closed on Mondays.

Fantastic! 5 stars easily. First of all the chips, salsa, and dips were all really good. Fresh onions and cilantro served with it as well. All the food was great. I got cheese enchiladas but they came with chicken. Not super upset about that bc of how good it was. My wife had veggie fajitas, they were also good. My oldest had carne asada and loved it. The youngest had a childrens steak burrito and gobbled it up. Seriously tho folks every bit of the food was very good. The service was on point. Made sure we had whatever we needed the entire time we were there. Limited menu but with good reason. Really allows them to focus on good food and prob helps with food costs. Which they pass on the savings bc all the prices were good too. Come try this place. You wont regret it

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in town. We always order the guacamole (I swear they make it to order). The quesadilla (corn tortilla) is huge. Everything is just better here...the rice, the beans, the tacos. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Unless you don't like flavor. And great service.

What a disappointment. We recently moved to Cullman from Huntsville and we have been desperately seeking a good local Mexican restaurant. I so hoped this would be it. The only good thing we had was our chips and self made salsa. Is it legal to serve a margarita with no alcohol? I ordered the tacos, they were awful, and my husband’s fajitas were just as bad. The beef and chicken was so drive that it resembled jerky. Someone please tell me where to find good Mexican food in Cullman.

The best Mexican restaurant in town, hands down. They offer both traditional tacos, sopes, and huaraches, as well as more Tex-mex fare like the large burritos. Alongside the chips and salsa, you also receive two additional sauces, limes, and diced onion and cilantro! Highly recommended!

Whether it's a burrito that's nearly twice the width of my head or an army of assorted tacos, this place can do no wrong. There is a spectrum of colorful salsas that progressively sets your mouth aflame. The quesadillas and enchiladas unleash a great deluge of cheese. The chimichangas and flautas deliver what will become a signature crunch. The sopes and huaraches are everything you want piled high on a soft, yet crisp, foundation.

I highly recommend setting aside all other obligations for like a month to try the entire menu. It's the kind of experience that will have your dad asking what cilantro is, and that's beautiful.

My personal favorite Mexican restaurant in Cullman county. I've tried nearly all of them, and while many of them have a prettier restaurant, this one has the best food and the best salsa. Most adult meals are about $10-12.

The most authentic you will get in Cullman. While all the other Mexican restaurants in cullman are reheating pre-packaged food, this place is making it from scratch. Though I have not ventured out and sampled everything on their menu, I have tried the street tacos (I recommend the chorizo and the chicken tacos) and the chicken enchiladas. Their salsa and hot sauces are delicious as well. This place is one of Cullman’s best kept secrets.

I've heard a lot about this place for years but never had the chance to go. I'm so happy I finally did, I've never cared for corn tortillas but my goodness I think about these almost daily. Lol The food is so good And the atmosphere is so nice. I love all the food and drink options and i've never been disappointed the few times i've been. Definitely worth checking out!

Originally I went here about a year ago and LOVED IT. I've bragged to everyone about it. I live in Tennessee and only occasionally come to Alabama to visit family. This was the SINGLE restaurant I was excited to come back to. And so I went tonight with my aunt and uncle so excited to share this place with them. After we got there my uncle realized that he had visited once before with his son and had a wonderful time.

And I regret every moment of anticipation. Everything was fine until our food came. The Barbacoa was disgusting, the rice tasted like soap, and my aunt and uncles chicken was dry as a bone and tasteless. The chirozo my aunt had was crunchy and dry. Both my aunt and I sent our plates back after two bites of eating. We were polite but disliked the food so much we did not re order. My uncle finished his food and went to pay. While we did not cause a scene like a Karen would we did make it apprent the food was unacceptable and asked for some of it to be comped. We did not mind paying for thr food we consumed but we had to send two of three plates back and was refused any assistance. We unhappily paid 55 dollars for one sandwhich a small cheese dip and three drinks.
We also left a 10 tip because servers don't deserve to be shorted pay due to a company's food and practices.

The best Mexican food in Cullman County. Eaten at all places many times this is most authentic. Lived in El Paso, TX, Arizona, New Mexico and eaten Mexican food in all. Spent a lot of time in Juarez, Mexico. This place is worth trying out.

If you are interested in a more authentic experience, this is the Mexican restaurant for you. I have yet to try something on the menu that I didn't like. They bring you cilantro and onions, 2 kinds of hot sauce, and chips and salsa to your table. The service is always great! And we usually get our food pretty quickly.

Tacos and sopas are outstanding. Service is not very friendly, but it is essentially an indoor taco stand serving alcohol, so service is on par with what you would get at a taco truck (i.e. basic and maybe ornery). This is not a tex-mex place, so don't expect it to be. It is authentic Mexican with hand-made tortillas. Most of the patrons are Hispanic. Come for the food, not the service, and you will be pleased.

Ordered the chicken pecgua and Carne asada. Both orders were very overcooked. I returned the Carne asada of which they charged me which shows more than just bad food, a lack of accountability . Strongly suggest finding another restaurant.

This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in cullman. The service is the best I am a regular there and every time I walk in there I feel at home they greet me by name they are all so sweet but I have to give a shout out to Fatima she is by far my favorite waitress. Most of the time she already knows what I am going to order. The margarita with hibiscus is to die for and if you are strange like I then you got to try the stomach tacos they are amazing.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is fresh and tastes home made. I cannot believe I have this good of a Mexican restaurant so close my home. This place fills up fast so come early! For reference, my wife is Hispanic, and her and her family agree this is the best food they've been able to get outside of South Texas.

Ordered take out when no one was there. I was waiting for my order when a baseball team came in. The staff rushed to slide tables together and sweep the floor. They completely forgot about me, I waited almost an hour. When I asked about my order the person at the cashier was rude. I just left. I'm sticking to Margaronas and Buenovista. They need to keep their restaurant cleaner and learn to be more polite.

This is a True Spanish food restaurant! The atmosphere is amazing. All the staff are awesome too! All the food is extremely good and tastes just like I was vacationing in Mexico. They have some of the best Quesadillas and Tacos I have ever had. This is definitely a must stop location if you're in Cullman County.

I've been to my fair share of Mexican restaurants in the US, but none have compared to Taqueria Las Cebollitas.

I haven't been to Mexico, so I'm not the greatest judge, but the food here is the most authentic I have ever had. The burritos, enchiladas, tacos, sopas, cactus, cow tongue; the whole menu provides diverse, perfected dishes at incredibly low prices! Plus! The salsa is served in a way like no other Mexican restaurant. You're served red, green, & orange salsas along with lime, cilantro & freshly diced onion, and you're able to make your perfect salsa from these. They also have a great Mexican beer selection for being in Cullman.

The service is typically solid & attentive, but the servers aren't the engaging type.
The plating is done pretty well.
The atmosphere feels a little closed/overwhelming, but I think it's the best for the space given.

If you're looking for the best restaurants in Alabama, go to Taqueria Las Cebollitas. This spot helped me understand the depth of the art of cooking a little bit better. For the same prices you would get at a Tex Mex, you get totally elevated meals. To whomever the chef behind this magic is, gracias.

Waited over an hour after we ordered our food. Had to ask the busser where our food was. They never made it. Horrible wait staff and no apology. Will not go back, no matter how good the food is supposed to be.
