Moe's Southwest Grill

2 drinks, 2 entrees, 1 small cup of cheese, approximately $35. Tell me why I got 11 chips and some dust when I paid $3 for a thimble of cheese? Obviously, I'm gonna need more chips to eat my overpriced cheese sauce. The food isn't terrible, it's standard Moe's fair. It wasn't the cleanest location, but it wasn't gross. I'm aghast about 11 chips when I ordered cheese. Come on!

Still a decent lunch, but the recent change to a single type of cheese (instead of a mix) and reverting to a traditional drink fountain instead of a Coke Freestyle machine feel more like downgrades.

This the best experience I’ve ever had in a Moe’s. The staff was respectable, polite, and professional. Menu options were all available, no shortage of any favorite ingredients. My meal tasted fresh and full of flavor. The facility was well kept and clean. If you are in the area, you can trust this location will not disappoint. Highly recommended.

Everything was great, from the friendliness of the staff to the cleanliness of the restaurant to the quality of the food. This location is far better in all facets than the one in Spanish fort. I will go out of my way to come here over the other one. Keep up the great work!

Amazing group of guys working the opening shift December 22nd!! We had a few special requests because we have two picky eaters. They went above and beyond to help and were super friendly and pleasant while serving us! We will definitely return to this location!

Love the new look!

Stopped for dinner, nachos are always awesome here. Staff were friendly and restaurant was clean. Only negative is one of the two soda fountain machines was out of order and the one that was working was dirty, scummy and in need of updating. Would dine here again.

I’m there so often, my wife thinks I’m going to turn into a burrito. I get to eat lunch happily alone 2 or 3 times a week, here. Good service.

Update a year later. 3 stars. I’m being nice. The lady with the neck tattoo stood around most of the time I was there. If you have time to lean you have time to clean.

All toppings had remnants from all other containers. Literally garbage/lid in the salsa. The hottest salsa is gone. The prep boards were filthy. The whole prep area was a diet pill for me. Food didn’t taste right (same burrito every time). Unpleasant experience. Kinda gross.

HORRIBLE customer service. EARLIER I was trying to place an order through the app and they only give an option for the home wrecker bowl and not the regular bowl which is obviously their way of getting more money out of you. The home wrecker bowl comes with guacamole(which I do not want) and they charge more for that bowl and that’s the only difference between the reg and the home wrecker. RIP OFF
The next issue I have is that they don’t list all their options of toppings on the app. For example I want Lime rice and they only offer seasoned rice but when my husband went in today to pick our food up they had lime rice. When I tried to call it ring like normal and went to voicemail. It’s literally 3pm on a weekday so it shouldn’t be crazy busy so I called again. This time someone answers and hangs up automatically, not saying a thing. So rude! So of course I call back a few more times and they do the same thing.
I hate to assume so I will say that I’m gathering that Moe’s on HWY 98 in Daphne has so much business that they don’t need anymore. I hate to leave a bad review like this but customers service in our country has went out the window and they should be held responsible.

Brian was able to give me a refund over the phone when I didn’t want my order that I placed over their app. Great customer service and was a really big help! If he is not manager, then he needs the job!

Cannot be considered a Mexican restaurant. They do not have corn tortillas. They are popular with young folks who are not familiar with the Mexican cuisine. There should be a new category for places like this "Mexican like"

The Moe's in Daphne is awesome.
The customer service was a perfect 10. Food quality was the best.
We were there shortly before the closed on Friday and before the staff took down the station for tea he came to our table and asked if we wanted to fill our cups before he broke it down.
These days service is uncommon but definitely still alive and well at Moe's.

Tried to get lunch here after my 3 hour glucose test(6 months pregnant) and this was going to be my first bite of food after 16 hours. Well, i ordered my bowl and everything I wanted in it but all I had was a $100 bill so I was turned away at the end. Chikfila to the rescue. Crazy how $100 is worthless nowadays

To be fair the servers working behind the counter were very nice, and the food was out in a timely manner, but the food was very BLAND and the chips were stale.

Literally all of it. There was nothing special about the taste of anything, including the salsa!

If I absolutely had to eat this food because nothing else was available, I would, but the chips provided with my wrap were literally cold and stale.

Keep in mind, I used to work in the food industry in a similar type of restaurant. I understand what a place like this goes through just to operate.

This, HOWEVER, is not a place I will run to in order to satisfy a craving. In fact, it is unlikely I will visit there again as it was so unremarkable. Rethink your recipe's Moes!

Summarized:

Go to El Mexicano. You will get a better meal with fresh ingredients, hot chips, delicious salsa, and all this for possibly even less money for sit down service.

I was the first person in the store and waited 30 mins for the steak to cook and 1 hour for lime rice. Absurd. The food should be cooked and ready when opened. No utensils were out either. I will not be back. Very disappointed.

Ordered Taco and Fajita kits for a staff meeting at work. Our order was ready on time, everything was expected was in the box. The staff loved it and it was more than enough for 12 people. We placed the order online. I will be ordering from Daphne Moe’s again. The facility was clean, they had on masks and Staff were friendly.

Not ordering from this location anymore. Twice my husband's nachos have showed up with no queso. He even ordered an extra cup of queso just to be safe. That didn't show up either. My order was also incorrect.

I’ve always loved moes, I come to this one or the one in Spanish fort nearly once a week, but I’m sorely disappointed in the restaurant for not following any mask laws. Out of the 15 people in line, 12 were not complying with state law. I won’t be coming back after today as they have never answered the phone for curbside and I want nothing to do with a business who prefers money over safety.

Food was great, I know one of the managers who is also awesome. Most of the employees were good, one was very rude and needs a little bit of training on customer service. I went up to the register to ask if I was able to get a cup of water, he looked frustrated I even went up there and just pointed at the "water cups". He obviously didn't want to talk or help anyone, I had to go to someone else to ask for a to-go bag.

Whenever I visit this location I'm always disappointed by the VERY small amount of meat they use. Honestly, it's unfair. After the guy wrapped my burrito, it was the size of a baseball. I'm done with this place. I'll happily drive to Chipotle.. they've never made me feel ripped off.

First bad experience. Been here hundreds of time, but this was my first Waitr order. OrderEd two burritos and they were both wrong. Not sure if we got the wrong food or what, but it was heart breaking when I opened it up and it wasn’t perfect like normal. I am a Armed Service member who has just arrived back overseas from deployment and newly arrived to the area. I just left Moes Southwest grill in Daphne, Alabama. What a horrible experience from the General Manager Erik on top of it I did not receive my bottled drinks that was purchased. I ordered food to go. I walked into the establishment with my mask, kept my 6 feet social distance. While in line there were people in front of me and many more individuals behind me. Erik started my order and in the middle of taking my order, the guy tells me to step all the way back. I complied no problem, but I couldnt help but notice he did not talk to anyone else this way. All the other customers had NO masks on and was right on the counter ordering. He said nothing to anyone before me or after me for other families of a different race with masks. I was definitely a target in this establishment. Everyone should be treated the same. I wont be back, very disappointed. I will hate to say this was a racial thing, but it appears that way.

My daughter placed an order close to 6 so I could have it before I went to work,she had to do curb side(covid-19)she arrived at 6:10 & was there til after 7 because no one would answer the phone she called over 30 times,she finally had to get out if the car & knock on the door for them to answer & she wasn't the only people waiting, that was ridiculous,one irritated mom making her wait like that,we were doing Cinco de mayo,lol looks like mine will be for breakfast!!! Don't bother complaining to the manager if you had a bad experience she will "investigate " & make it like it's your fault just so she don't have to give free food to replace the cold soggy food you got.
