Food good well spiced/seasoned
Hot food hot, cold food cold.
Liquor was mixed well.
Having cash price vs card price on the menu is WILD
Service was great for me and the wife.
Seated promptly and staff were prompt and polite.

.... But yeah I can imagine going in with a family of 4 and the cash vs card price at the end would be brutal

Paying cash?.... Here's a discount ....
Tap to pay?... Well that's going to be the normal price.

We really like this restaurant. The food is good. Try to get there before average dinner time or later than, because they do get very busy and the service is not as good then (which is totally normal). The three stars for the service are for the times that we have been there that they weren't very busy and the service just wasn't that great. It does get a little bit loud in there, even when it's not super busy, the music is pretty loud. We definitely recommend it and we will absolutely be back.

Went for Lunch. The menu is very extensive and I enjoyed having pictures for all the meal items and I can see how it would help people try things they might have been unsure about. It was a little weird to see the price for cash vs cards listed for each menu items. However, I guess it would be better to learn about the card surcharge before having to pay. The prices are very reasonable, imo.

I wasn't a big fan of the chips, it seemed to thick for myself, but I enjoyed the salsa. However, my party disagreed with myself and enjoyed the chips, so I think it was just a personal preference issue.

I had the Tacos Pueblo and choose a mix of different meats for the tacos. The meal was very good and the quantity vs price was very generous.

We were a party of 10 on a very busy Sunday. We made it a point to beat the crowd, which we did. We were first in a VERY LONG line. They literally seated everyone before us, even though I checked in with them when I saw people being seated at the large party tables. This WAS one of my favorite restaurants, but I do not plan to go back. It would have been better for them to come to us and tell us they couldn't serve us instead of letting us just wait. Because then, we could have all met somewhere else. But because of the wasted time, our entire party wasn't able to meet together. I was really, really disappointed.

They have many many options to choose from, like tacos, chimichangas, fajitas, carnitas, and so much more. They always have great staff that are attentive and make sure you have a great experience. Also, the lunch specials are a great bargain if you're on a budget. Do give his place a try.

Arrived in the middle of the afternoon on Father's Day. Restaurant was about half full. There were five of us. Took about 15 minutes to get chips and drinks and nearly 25 minutes to get our food ordered. Our food had not arrived an hour later. Customers who arrived 20 and 30 minutes had their food well before us. We decided to leave without eating after about 90 minutes in the restaurant. As we stood up to leave, our food finally came out of the kitchen but we had run out of time because I had a meeting to attend. A guy who said he was the manager told me, as we were leaving, "maybe we'll do better next time."

Stopped by the priceville location food truck today and ordered a steak quesidilla and got home to find it was a ground beef instead of steak. Called the restaurant and was placed on hold for over 10 min. Before hanging up!! This is no way to treat loyal customers who eat in at the 6th Ave location pretty often. My daughter also ordered a steak quesidilla last week from same truck and found it to be chicken. Very disappointed.

Ok! I am driving away and my blood is boiling! I was meeting a friend for lunch at this place. We have been here several times before and always enjoyed our lunches. But, after today….. never ever coming back!

So, I arrived and stood at the door/stand an and no one acknowledged me. So, I asked an employee if I should seat myself. The employee who did not speak English went to the back where there were several other workers standing. A man came up to me. He was extremely rude. I asked him if I was supposed to seat myself. He said” no, you do not seat yourself” he said extremely sarcastic and rudely “that is just common sense’. I paused, looked at him, and said seriously, are you going to do this. He said “yes”. So I left, called my friend who was going to meet me and we went to another Mexican restaurant.

I work at a large company near this restaurant with hundreds of employees who go out and eat lunch every day. Our company is close to this Mexican restaurant. I will be spreading the word about this restaurant with all of my coworkers. I do not know if this man was the owner, manager, or just an employee. All I know is that they do not care about customer experience.. and they must not need business.

Casa Santiago is wonderful! They have a huge varied menu with lots of choices, which is nice to see in a Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere seems authentic without feeling "cartoony". It's comfortable, and the tables are large enough to hold all the food without being so big that you can't have a proper conversation with your friends. The bar is awesome and I particularly recommend the Sangria Margarita. It's huge, delicious, and I don't think you'll be disappointed! Every server I've had has been friendly and able to make good recommendations. The service is quick, and they let you linger to enjoy your meal. A+++

Once awhile back a friend of mine researched authentic Mexican cuisine and spent days on an adobo consomme dish. It was great, meat was succulent and the broth was rich. There was so much broth leftover I would eat it with white rice without any meat and it was still a fulfilling dish.

When I had the quesabirrias at Casa Santiago it took me back to that memory. It is one of those dishes, as someone who does not eat out often, that I will always get when I go there from here on out.

The tortillas have just the right balance of being soft yet crunchy, with bits of queso cheese caramelized that made it out of the tortilla. The meat is like a juicy beef pot roast and the adobo consomme a richness just under the richness of an oxtail stew. Now it's got me thinking about an adobo consomme made with oxtail, that might be too powerful.

Atmosphere is fresh yet a rustic Spanish feel. The staff is attentive on refilling chips and drink.

Great place, from our first trip it deserves its high rating.

The salsa is amazing! The street tacos we got in every flavor were mostly good and my daughter loves the texas taquetos. The steak fajita salad was super greasey and way less healthy than I hoped for. The 1 lb burrito looked amazing and was SUPER huge! My hubby just asked for it without beans and no guacamole he recieved it twice wrong TWICE! The manager only took 10% off. I was not a fan of the atmosphere at all.

Only one issue. The staff: top notch and very friendly. Food: wonderful couldn’t ask for it to be any better albeit one item. The cheese dip. Had to be 70+ percent milk. White as snow, tasted like milk. I put it in fridge overnight and next day it was not solidified as it should be in a 36° fridge. Poured just a tad slower than milk. I’ll get orders again from here but will question cheese dip before buying it. I know cheese is expensive but for 8 bucks please up the quality!

They definitely add to the look of the restaurant, but getting into them and being in them is not fun. Be aware they charge a fee for paying without cash. This is my only complaint with the business. Still the food and service more than make up for the fee. Definitely recommend if your looking for somewhere to eat. Just bring cash.
