We went here on a date and we had a horrible experience our waiter. He came to our table twice. Once to take our order,and then once to drop food, we never got refills, even though we asked several times, and even had to go get the check ourselves as well as to go boxes. The food was amazing but our waiter was terrible so better hope you dont get the male waiter. Otherwise it's a good place to eat

Chicken steak and shrimp rice Special lunch number 15!! A lot of rice! It was good, just service wasn't great today.. 😕 had to wait for a waiter to come back and then pay for the meal. I love that place very reasonable prices in comparison to other restaurants..

My lunch was excellent! Food was served very quickly and my waitress was very attentive. I got the lunch special, I forget which number but it was the burrito with the spicy, smoky, bold pico and that perfectly described it. It was delicious I highly recommend!

Best Mexican food in Decatur! Always welcomed with a smile and lots of food choices. Can't go wrong ordering anything off the menu. Ordered the burrito California last time and it was enough for two people.

The food tasted great. The chile relleno was not my cup of tea from the stand point it was just pieces and not whole. But that is just my preference.

We had our food delivered so idk about the service or atmosphere.Everything was too spicy compared to all the other mexicann restaurants around Decatur.The salsa,enchiladas,cheese dip were all pretty hot.The taco meat had a good flavor but were soggy by the time we received them(not the restaurants fault of course).Still over all a waste of $50.00 in my opinion.We won't order from here again or visit.

If this is the food truck in Priceville- this truck is amazing. The workers were sweet. FOOD WAS Phenomenal!!!! Definitely a great place with great prices. We will be going again 😊

Ordered a small nachos . Received a large . The other meal was charred and burnt on the outside shell and no cheese sauce . Dry and gross . 32 for two meals . Overcharged and the waitress couldn’t understand or just plainly didn’t listen . We won’t be back . Not a good experience. I tried to explain to the man that checked us out and he was like ???

This used to be our favorite place and I've given it great reviews in the past. I no longer recommend this location. If you want great service and food go to the other location near 6th Ave. We went last night and were one of only four couples in the place. They brought us watered down margaritas and cold cheese dip. Then we waited for an extremely long time to get our food and both orders were completely wrong. This is the forth bad experience here in the last 4 trips so this isn't a knee jerk reaction review.

Stopped in for lunch.
Service was good. Food was good (average) and reasonably priced.
I do recommend for a decent quick reasonably priced lunch or dinner.
But can we please stop with the "best ever!" superlatives?
Apparently most of you don't know what "best ever" actually means!
And also tells me you've never ventured out of the area.
It is what it is, decent food at a reasonable price and good service!!!

My 2nd visit. The first was years ago. There were 6 tables sat, so not busy at all. We sit and watch as 3 servers walk past us without even an acknowledgement. I work in the service industry so this was off-putting. It was myself, my fiancé, and my 3 year old. Server finally comes to our table. She say, 'HI. What would you like to drink?'. My fiancé and I order coke. She says ok and walks off. DIDN'T ASK FOR MY DAUGHTERS DRINK! When she comes back with the drinks, I ask can my child have a pink lemonade. She tries to walk off as I'm trying to ask where the restroom is located. Her response was dry as she tells me, 'In the corner'. Ok. That's clear. We weren't ready to order right away as this is my fiancé's first time here. We wait ...and wait...for her to finish texting so she can come back and take the order. Food was just not good. We usually go to Las Vias or cook Mexican at home so this was in comparison to what we usually order at a Mexican restaurant. The server asks if we want rice and beans with the kids meal but never brings back utensils for my child to use. Guess that was a hostess error. As we are boxing our food, the hostess is standing in the kitchen doorway starring. It wasn't closing time but I felt it must have been because I felt rushed with the starring. We get up to leave and he walks away. We stand at the hostess stand for every bit of 6 minutes until a server finally goes to tell him we are waiting to pay. (Speaking in Spanish) He comes up to the stand without any apology or even a word spoken...literally. I was totally in shock of his bothered demeanor. He walks off as I am filling out the credit card receipt. The only words he eventually uttered were of him asking if I needed a copy of my receipt. My fiance, who is Mexican, could here them speaking in Spanish. Maybe the staff should not assume they are the only bilingual people in the establishment. What I will say to that is, WE WILL NEVER VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN, NOR RECOMMEND IT!! SMH

Has to be the best Mexican food in Decatur. I’m here 1-2 a week minimum. Salsa SLAPS and the Carne Asada is my go-to. Restaurant is always very clean and staff is very friendly.

This is the best Mexican I've had in a while. The ingredients are high quality, the food is nice and hot, and overall it's delicious.

I had the Nachos Jalisco and my mom had the fajita taco salad. Great salsa as well.

We normally eat Mexican food one or twice weekly, so we know a lot about a variety of different Mexican restaurants and the food they serve.
This was some of the best prepared and most tasteful Mexican food we have eaten in a while.
I highly recommend you try out this restaurant.

I gone to resturant. It beautiful but the food and service is poor and expensive. 3 taco bell tacos with rice & beans and coke 28 dollars. Steak meat had lots of fat and cut into too big of pieces. Hard shells were like ones get at taco bell. Complained and Hostess or manager came to my table with attitude. Service was very poor. Never going to waste my time or money here again. I could of got better steak tacos at taco bell for less. Poor example of true Mexican food

I’m convinced this establishment does not like black people . This is the second time I’ve went to this establishment and received poor care . They sit the blacks in the middle and give us poor quality services . The second (and last time) I went, I asked to be placed somewhere else and the waiter was very unfriendly with his response . He shoos me with the menu to where I pointed I would like to sit at . Noticing his demeanor, I asked him if he was okay with us sitting else where and he walk away and shrugged his shoulders . Very unprofessional and I will be telling all my colleagues to not go to this establishment .

Trini was my server, she was very prompt and courteous. The place is clean and the food is delicious. I didn't give 5 stars because their black beans are not black beans. But other than that perfect place. First time here since moving to Alabama, I will definitely be back.

I ordered the buffalo burrito and fajitas to go. I wanted the buffalo burrito because it did not come with guacamole. When I got home I noticed it had guacamole. It went straight to the chickens as hard as I could throw it. Dinner ruined and I tipped really good too (+30%). Time and money wasted. Never going back.

Worst Mexican food ever and that’s a lot coming from me. Didn’t get my order right at all to begin with and then the few bites I tried before realizing my order was wrong made me sick. Took it all back up there today and the manager insisted I get more food that I didn’t want because they don’t do refunds. By the way I noticed while waiting for him they scored an 89 so probably the reason I got sick. I don’t know how this place is even in business considering all the awful reviews, food and staff. Just gross.

Excellent restaurant, and I can speak for both locations. The service is great from the waiter/waitress viewpoint, but it can take a while to pay during lunch (plan for that). Food is spot on with some interesting takes on TexMex and there are some more authentic offerings as well.

The food was awful. It was supposed to be a fajita taco salad with beans instead of meat (they no longer offer vegetarian options). Instead I received a wet mess. No grilled vegetables. No guacamole. No pico. When I asked her why all the items were missing she turned and walked off. Terrible service. This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Decatur but now I know why the place was almost empty when we walked in. Disappointing for sure.

The food was great and the staff was very polite and helpful. They did need a couple more people. It was busy when we got there. Which is understandable for them taking a little bit to seat us. However, they still took a while to seat other customers, when they weren't so busy. Other then that, it was a good time.

Nice aptmosphere, good food, and the drinks like horchata and the hibiscus tea are great. I recommend the burrito california for two meals. It's this huge burrito the size of your forearm that you need a knife and fork to eat with. 11/10.

Always a favorite place to go. Service is always great. Food has always been fresh and good. The bean dip is a must try. The complimentary salsa and chips are always good. For a small local place Casa is a definite go visit. Enjoy!

The food was pretty good. I got the one pound burrito, my girl got the grilled chicken shrimp and steak over rice covered in cheese, and 2 cheese quesadillas for our son. We all enjoyed everything and left quite full. The margaritas were good too. I'll definitely come again
