We FINALLY found a Mexican restaurant that has REAL Mexican food!! No trash vegetables in their rice, real heat in their sauces and the most delicious, tender and flavorful meats in BIG portions!! The flavor was jam packed with authentic Mexican cuisine flavors. The service was awesome and I wish I had found this place sooner! If you’ve ever tasted authentic Mexican food in other states on the Southern West coast, along the Northern Eastern Coast, Florida and Mexico and you’re sick of ordering that type of food around Northern Alabama because it’s never the same and you’re just trying to talk yourself into liking it and not being disappointed…then you’ve gotta try this place!! The price was more than reasonable and we were pleasantly surprised how much our bill was after all the food we ordered. Literally so happy 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Do yourself a favor and eat lunch or dinner there soon. It will change your life!!

We enjoyed eating at Mi Mexico Taqueria! We were immediately greeted by the owner and the waitress. I ordered the quesabirrias and tamales with horchata to drink. Very delicious food - I recommend adding this restaurant to your must eat Decatur list!

I had barbacoa tacos and chorizo, egg, and cheese tacos. They were delicious. I'm glad to have found a Mexican restaurant that serves breakfast near me. I've only been once, but I will definitely go back.

If you want authentic Mexican food then come here. The food is soooo good, but there is a language barrier, so you may want to brush up on your Spanish before eating here. Everyone was very nice and it was a cute place. I liked the food and so did my family. Oh and it's fairly cheap in price like for 4 people to eat and we ordered a lot it was under $50.

Siempre que podemos mi familia y yo vamos a comer a este restaurante que estoy completamente segura que es el mejor restaurante Mexicano que existe en nuestros alrededores excelente comida, servicio y ambiente; cada mesero tiene una forma tan peculiar y linda de atender , el chico que nos atendió hoy hizo un trabajo maravilloso, su nombre es Fabricio le doy 5 estrellas por ser tan atento y apesar de que éramos un gran grupo nos tuvo muchísima paciencia.... I was pleasantly surprised with their food ,however they charge what ever they want, definitely not what the menu says they even sneak in chip and salsa charge which your not made aware of up front which made the dinner a little high for what it was....

Beautiful little restaurant with fast service and reasonable prices. I like all the meat option that you can match with your dish of choice but I wasn’t too impressed with the taste of the food.

What an incredible meal! Seriously the best quesobirria tacos I've ever had. Succulent lamb!

Also shout out to the service here. Several taquerias in town that do a great job with food, but I think there is hesitation to go from non Hispanic customers who aren't comfortable with a Spanish menu, or not knowing what to order.

This restaurant breaks down that barrier by offering an English menu, and overly friendly service by breaking down menu items and making recommendations for guests who may only be familiar with Tex Mex.

Will definitely be back, thank you for a great dinner.

Bad service, no refills while eating until we were about to leave. The taqueria was actually empty but the waiter never came to check up on us to see if we needed anything else. The food was not what I expected overall I DO NOT RECOMMENDED!
