Wonderful food at a great little place! We had two very tasty tortas, the Milaneza de Pollo and the Hawaiian. Delicious and authentic with excellent service too. We will definitely be back.

Delicious and authentic! Both salsas were amazing and actually spicy. Waitress was very patient and attentive. I will stop here when I go to eat in Decatur.

I recommend eating at Taqueria el Paisa. We arrived during the Sunday lunch hours. Our server was friendly and helpful. The tacos and menudo were delicious! These are the best tacos in the Decatur area. I also recommend drinking their agua frescas.

This is a really good option for Huaraches and Taco de birria. Horchata also good, other highlights are the pork al pastor and traditional carne asada. It it's very much a family place and located in a busy Shopping Center with a laundromat and a Latin grocery store that mostly serves the local Hispanic community and their descendants. In fact I've liked every business I tried in there and I've tried these three that I mentioned. Lots of lovely people and family at any given time and a really good place to get lunch or dinner especially if you're in a hurry and need good food, these people know what they're doing and they've probably done it before. Never had an issue here always good. Atmospheres just average but no dings anywhere else pretty flawless.

I love the food and the service..
I like it because some things on the menu I I don't know what they are and / or made of so they will explain it to me ...or she will tell me I don't think you would like that....and I appreciate that not letting me waste my money

Not my favorite. Food lacked in flavor. Prices are good if you want a lot of food. The portions are good sized. The green chilli sauce was really good. It got busy after we sat down.
*The only waitress was very attentive and did a great job taking care of everyone! ❤

Real Mexican food, great food and great price. Just a little crowded on weekends because the place is small, and bathroom needs to be cleaned that's why I gave 4 stars, but the food is really good.

Love the tacos de asada here. They provide cucumbers and radishes as sides. They also include salsa. The flavor of the food never disappoints! The pricing is very good and so is the quality. Best tacos I've had so far.

I'm just here to say food decent. BUT that salsa! NOT GOOD its watery as hell EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO. Idk who's making your salsas but they don't know how to make them (coming from a hispanic) idk if yall are adding water to it on purpose to make a large portion of salsa to save money or what. I came ro eat a Mi Mexico & the salsa is good here :)
Las salsas de aqui, NO ESTAN BUENOS, parece más agua que salsa. No se quien los hace pero no saben como hacer la salsa bien.

People think this place is good but what they don't know is that it's infested with flies and roaches I used to work here and quit because of that reason. They leave meat out all night and the roaches and flies get in the water and die but then serve it to people the next day. I called the cooks guy for them and the boss didn't want to pay them but the cooks guy took pictures and videos of the dead insects in the water. I would never work here again or eat.

The worst service I’ve experienced at any Mexican restaurant. Given this place multiple chances. Each time “forgot to put in the order “ “gave your order to the wrong person”, or given the wrong order. The food price is 1.99$ per taco, with this kind of service I wouldn’t pay 50 cents.

It are EXQUISITE the habanero Sauce are Delicious and have RECENTLY HANDMADE TORTILLAS. is just wonderful ❤️ flavors & taste , the FRESH FRUIT WATERS. been here about 10 times now. I think it is the best authentic mexican in Decatur. My go-to is the Carne Asada. Its about $12 for a massive platter of generous portion of steak, pinto beans, salad w/ avocado and french fries. To be honest, their home made fries are amazing. The Carne Asada is enough to feed two people. I have had the Torta's as well, and they are amazing and THICC. The tacos are excellent as well.

We ordered Carne Asada and Chicken Enchiladas for takeout. I take ownership for not checking the bag. I'm not sure what we got. I called the next day and was told, "we don't sell chicken enchiladas."

My lesson, check the bag!!! $22 lost!

Awesome authentic Mexican food cooked fresh to order. The carne asada plate is a must-have. Don't go starving - you will wait a bit for your food to cook but worth every minute.

Amazing food! I was recommended the Gordita and it did not disappoint! The culture of the restaurant is very authentic and the staff helped me to better understand how to eat the food! I am so appreciative of it, and can not wait to come back for more!
