My wife & I had a festive & positive lunch experience. The service was prompt & friendly. The chorizo was very good. The price was good too. We’ve only been once but we’d try it again.

BEWARE DO NOT EAT HERE!! I’ll never come back! There was mold in our food and drinks and the manager and bartender could care less! They even still tried charging us for the drinks. This was after checking product and finding more on others. Please for your own health and safety please stay away from this restaurant!!!

Wish I could give less than a one star! Ordered a beef burrito supreme… Beef is not beef here… it is some kind of meat mixture that doesn’t even look like beef and is not good at all, asked the manager if I could just have a “Beef burrito” and he brings me again “dog food” told him I was sorry and I can’t eat this and he says well you will have to pay for it anyway! Really? I have to pay for the crap you put on a plate smothered with cheese! This place offers a family friendly, loud festive environment. It’s priced right and our server worked hard to keep us taken care of and there was a lot of employees on the floor (10+). We left an appropriate tip.

The food was mediocre and the salsa had a unique garlic taste. It took quite a while for anyone to get our drink order.

We did visit on a busy Friday night so we will be back for a second try and I will update this review accordingly.

A wonderful place to enjoy a quality meal, I believe the best Mexican restaurant in town. It can get a little loud inside during busy hours due to a very open floor plan, but that's not a problem after all your here for the food. The stuffed poblano peppers and the alambres are both excellent options. The enchiladas verdes, the tacos al pastor, and pretty much everything else on the menu are delicious. I would also dare say one of the best Texas Margaritas in town as well.

Price are super fair and the food was delicious I appreciate simply ingredients and knowing what I am eating because I recognize the ingredients so flavor is my goal with the food and my food had terrific flavor...I like the decor and service was fast. The service was fast and the drinks were large..I would definitely recommend 2 Chicken tacos for the best price for lunch with a huge drink, salsa and chips come free under $10 also. I visit anytime I'm in that side of town or getting my nails done at Studio Nails. Craving tacos just thinking about it! Next time I visit I will add pictures. Updated Family Taco trip pictures added of tacos prices on the menu..my apologies I took a picture of sour cream I added on one taco and one without. I also added onions. They stuff lots of Chicken in my taco. I can appreciate eating a few and being full for the wonderfully fair price...always a great treat stopping in and top notch customer service dining in. Personally adding extra napkins is a pet peeve, from bis out fast, checking on us, and pleasant demeanor all first class...we will most definitely be back again...see you soon!!!

I work at southeast health(pulmonary department) we ordered here frequently. 9 respiratory therapists ordered today only 8 of us received our food. We called to let them know what was left out (beef chalupa) they proceed to argue with us saying it was not left out of the bag as we are looking in said bag that doesn’t have the chalupa. They refuse to remake a chalupa and proceed to call us LIARS. The folks who take care of your family members and friends at your local hospital are LIARS???? Over a $3 chalupa?????? Completely rude and the worst customer service I’ve ever had. And I have worked as a waitress myself. We spent $120 on food and didn’t receive it all. WE WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN. You have lost our weekend business. Hope the $3 was worth it.

Been eating here for the better part of 10 years. Used to be delicious. Then it was good. Then it was OK. The salsa is different every time you come. Sometimes it tastes soured. Like they're putting new on top of old. They just don't GAF. Service is always RUSH RUSH RUSH RUSH RUSH.... CHILL OUT!
The chick that's always at the counter has all the personality of a wet dishcloth. They refuse to accept ANY responsibility when something is off. Instead you get pissy attitude.
I'm pretty much done here. Since Misky has opened l have found Dothan's best Latin Cuisine. And THEY are always courteous and appreciative of their guests.

After frequenting their establishment for almost 2 years tonight was our last night. Every restaurant is going to have a day when they miss the mark, just own up to it and move on, nope, they somehow worked to make it worse. When I mentioned that my margarita was missing the tequila, the manager told me no, and began to explain how they make a mango margarita. I stopped her to tell her I have ordered a mango margarita every time I come and this time, they just forgot the tequila. Things happen, but don't talk to me as if I am an idiot. This isn't my first trip or first margarita. Then the food came and I was an utter disaster. Again, I have ordered it before and enjoyed it, that's why I ordered it again. Yet, once again the manager tried telling me that's how they always do it. Once again I told her, this wasn't my first time ordering that meal and if it had been that way in past, I would not have ordered it again. She began explaining how I was mistaken so I asked for my check so we could just pay and leave. Hoping to just finish a bad experience, I noticed the amount due and the values on the check did not look correct. Our total due was $15 more than the values added up to. When I brought this to the attention of the cashier she added the bill again and got the same thing I did. Another girl came and added the bill and got the same total I did. Then the waiter came over and got the same total I did, except he didn't know my son is fluent in Spanish and overheard him tell the cashier to charge me the inflated price anyway. When I confronted him he began making excuses and looking at the bill and fiddling with the calculator as if he was trying to figure it out. At that point I told the cashier to charge me the inflated price so I could leave, because I was finished and out of patience. I couldn't help but wonder, the restaurant was full, and if they added $15 to my bill, a group of 3, and they did that regularly to other tickets, how long have they been overcharging and getting away with it. There were several large groups and I know I am not very good to always check my bill, especially when I am part of a group. Of course, I now also have the question of, how many times did I go, get a good margarita and good food and never look at my bill because I was happy? Was I getting overcharged the whole time?

Our wait staff was Jasmine, and she was an amazing waitress! Food, from order to table was not a long wait. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Place was packed when we left. Worth the wait!

We've been coming here regularly. Tonight the taste of the food seemed off. I can let that slide. When we were ready to leave the credit cRd processor was down. I can deal with that. Not telling new customers that you can't process credit cards before seating them is inexcusable. I will NOT be back and I will tell the people who suggested this place our experience and actively discourage anyone else.

Waitress got our drink and cheese dip order. Then she processed to go to a party table of about 12 ppl while we sat and waited with nothing. A waiter than came over to get our drink orders and when we told him she (pointing at her) had already taken it he said oh ok I can't take her table if she already got you. So we waited some more. Finally, he comes back at and says he will at least get our drinks and dip for us. He comes back with 5 or the 6 drinks forgetting one. We waited more with no cheese dip. The waitress then started making drinks as well as mixed drinks for her party table and not even coming to us. We then had to wave down someone else to get our dip. Then we tried to order a few times but no one could take our order. So then they allowed the waiter to come back and he could now take our order. At this point, we have been there about 30 or more mins. We got there in enough time to be out within an hr and a half bc we had somewhere to be. The party then started getting their food. We are still waiting at this point we have been there about 45 mins. We stopped the waiter and asked if he knew how much longer. He said he wasn't sure but could check. He comes back and says it might be a little while as they are still getting the party food out. So we asked for it all to be made to go bc we would have to leave by then. We all get our food, pay, and leave. Get to where we are going and the food is horrible. Most of it was over cooked and burnt. So even after paying $50 just for my ticket it still wasn't enjoyable.

It's Tuesday, one of the lighter days for dining out. I walked over from the Comfort Inn for dinner. This time it was Chile Relleno.

The server was friendly, quick to bring a Mason jar of sweet tea. Submitted my order. In a short time I had one of the most beautiful chiles rellenos I've seen. Unfortunately the celebration ended there. My first bite included the wonderful sauce and cheese, but also a mouthful of cooked hamburger. Yes, that's the beef filling, but I detected no real flavor there. I was disappointed the taste of the actual chile (with a touch of sweetness) was missing.

Oh well, maybe next time.

My first experience at this restaurant was good and because we had a good experience—my sister and I went back again in less that 7 days!! We had a mean waiter who seem to be very impatient. My sister is a picky eater and wanted to know the ingredients in a dish and he was extremely rude and practically yelling at her for asking!! We should have removed ourselves but we pressed through it—only to regret it!!! Food is lacking flavor—it was just blended!!!! Customer service is lacking here and we decided we are never returning—we did not feel welcome—nor did we feel our business was appreciated!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Came here on the way home from a beach trip and stopped in for lunch. Didn't take to long to get seated but boy was it hot. Tried to cool down with drinks but it was just sweltering hot in there in the corner we got put no air flow. Took an hour and a half to get our food * we ordered basic food nothing crazy no fajita etc* we were giving it until 2 to get our food or we were leaving and it showed up at 1:57. We got there right after 12 so almost 2 hours to order and get food.

Salsa was almost tomatoe puree and nothing else. By the time the food came eating it in the eat just wasn't doing it it was to uncomfortable to stay and eat in peace.

This was my first experience here. I was in Alabama for work and this restaurant was in walking distance. I'm so glad it was! I enjoyed the margarita immensely! First night I got the taco salad, second night I got the fajitas. I ate at the bar and the service was awesome! I will return!

Great food and service. A bit loud bit, it does have a good atmosphere considering location/building. I have found it has become a notch above our normal Mexican spot. However, prices are also a lil more. Once again, taste is worth a few dollars more.

Server was not helpful, in a hurry. Tostadas were stale. Chicken was weird on the tostada, like almost pre packaged tasting. Ordered a quacamole salad, but wasn't necessary as 2 of my ala carte items had the ingredients on them . Chips n salsa were good. Queso was also. Nice atmosphere, just wish better care was taken to see that all the items were fresh. Even the sopapilla chips were stale😭

Great place to eat. Bathrooms are always a mess though. It is always busy the staff are always in a rush but super friendly. Wait time depends on time of day and what day you visit. There is a big parking lot but it is also host to several other businesses. It is a very loud and lively place, so anyone who has social anxiety or noise issues should probably stay away or visit during non peek hours, or get it to go. Have have a extensive menu. Kids menu and lunch and dinner specials. They have handicapped parking. It is handicapped accessible restaurant but it is very tight spaced inside. They have tables and booths. They can accommodate a single guest or a big party. My family and I eat here once or twice a month because there is something for everyone.

Stopped in Dothan for an overnight stay and came here to dinner. Our server was outstanding and very attentive. The food was good. The only thing I did not like were the 3 ladies just hanging out at the register while the servers were overwhelmed.

We have eaten here many times and never had an issue until tonight. On the back of the menu are “Week Night Dinner Specials” and for Wednesday, it shows two: Kids Night $2.99 with drink, and Combination Plates $8.99. We both ordered a combination plate, but were charged $10.49 and $10.99. We questioned it, and were told that the specials on Wednesday only pertained to kids. So $8.99 is a kids special price?? Doubtful. It was only a difference of $3.50, but it should have been corrected at checkout and it was not. There are many other Mexican restaurants in town and this was unfortunately not handled well.

The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. The staff kept an eye on the table to see if anything else was needed. I had the Taco plate with beans and rice. I was a little disappointed because the food was bland, no spice. They needed just a little of that Mexican spiciness!

We have tried two other places in Dothan and they were subpar… Hacienda Azul is delicious!! The salsa and entrees are delicious! They weren’t very attentive and we did not have to wait long to be seated or to get our food. This will be our new go to spot!! Thank you for a great lunch

Great job Jose! Best waiter in a long time. Really nice to be able to give 5 stars. Had texas fajitas for two, could have fed 4 ppl. Great job in the kitchen with the seasonings. Overall great experience and great food. If I hadda pick something to nag about, salsa was quite heavy on the tomatoe sauce. Added some Pico to it and it was fine.

On 19 Jan we watched they're commercial on WDHN. On the 20th we had lunch there. We ate from the lunch menu and I must admit the portion size was impressive. I had chicken fajitas and my wife had a combination plate. The food was delicious as well as the warm chips and flavorful salsa. They were pretty busy on a Friday afternoon but our food was served timely. Finally, the building and furniture decor looks like they were individually hand painted with scenic views. Very enjoyable meal, will return and highly recommend!

Place is packed and it’s obvious why. Chicken Fajita for two had plenty for both of us and priced right. Fried ice cream was delicious and nice ending to our dinner. Fun atmosphere (a bit loud) but what the heck, it’s Friday.

It took an hour to get our food. Our table was backed right up to another table. Just a terrible experience. When one order came out wrong the waitress said if she took the plate back they'd just scrap the food off and bring the plate back.

Great relaxing meal with my beautiful wife, son and his bride. Food was fantastic! Chips light and crisp, Salsa and Cheese dip were excellent. Great value and great atmosphere!

This place is the most best and epic place to eat ever! I love their food and the flavor melts on my tongue when ever I eat there! The staff is always the nicest people! They even have the most beautifully decorated restaurant in Alabama! They have clean restrooms they also have amazing margaritas and alcoholic beverages they always get me a little crooked after one drink! Also their cheese dip is perfect and not chunky at all!
