The food was actually good. I would say It could use a bit more seasoning. The food lacked flavor. The salsa wasn’t spicy either. We asked for their hottest and well, not even close to siracha lol. But wasn’t a bad flavor. I loved the fact their tortillas were authentic, which was a plus.

I love La Leyenda!! The chips & salsa are great, and I love the cheese dip as well. I've dined here a few times now, and everything I've ordered so far has been delicious. I'm also a big fan of their strawberry daiquiri. If you like fruity drinks, this is a must-try!

This place is fantastic. It has been the best Mexican food I've eaten in Dothan. The portions are large and priced right. The California burrito is a monster in size! So delicious! If you like it spicy ask for the spicier salsa. It has an intense kick that I really enjoyed. The house salsa was bland in comparison.

They have a happy that is right during prime time dinner hours. The service was friendly enough . I will gladly come back to this location

There are to many other places , I shall eat at but this one is forever …not it.

The server wasn't very friendly at all. When asked what came on our food, he just looked at us, not a word. He must've just crossed the border. Took forever to get a refill on drinks.

They got my order wrong and only wiped off the sour cream even though I asked for no sour cream. My spouses food was store bought frozen food. They never refilled our drinks either. Doubt we will ever go back and will not recommend it to anyone. Specially those with allergies.

I door dashed an order and they got everything item on my order wrong. I asked for chicken not beef, soft shell taco not hard and chili and cheese chili relleno and only got cheese. I called and got hung up on 3 times!!!! Never go there. Service is pathetic!!!! And extremely rude!!!

Took my daughter here for lunch and this spot was a treasure to find.They give you large portions it was enough to feed 2 people and make full.The waiter Marisol was so nice and accommodating.The food was delicious.Nice atmosphere.I recommend if you want some good Mexican food come here especially if you have an appetite.

Ordered delivery since car is in shop, did not receive everything I ordered, fajitas for 2 was barely enough for one, no extra tortillas as ordered & side of mexican rice wasn't right,food was cold, despite restaurant being right down road..very disappointed

Food was good. Food order came out quickly after order. Service was good but slow in checking on customers.

Greeted and seated immediately. Wait person appeared quickly. Took drink orders, brought chips and salsa. Brought drinks andctook orders. Food preparation took about 15 minutes. Food was excellent. Arrived hot and each order was complete. Some confusion about how to pay the bill was quickly resolved.

Recommend.

P.S. visitors from South Texas might complain there isn't enough heat in the food, meaning peppers. This cuisine is much more reflective of central Mexico not border TexMex. The spices are much more subtle and more flavors than just chili's, jalapeños and cumin, although they were represented.

I am on an all liquid diet. I ask for the liquid that comes from the chicken soup. The young lady did not understand what I was saying. I asked for Just the liquid probably 3 times. Then she brought the manager over and the manager understood what I was saying. Then it was correct. I live in geneva and la leanda's here The soup is better. The price was almost twice of what I pay here.

Great food!! I had the burrito loco!! It was excellent. I would recommend that if you don't have a huge appetite, to split any of the burritos. My husband got the 3 amigos and he loved it but neither one of got even close to finishing ours.

My wife and I have visited LaLayenda twice and both times our experiences were outstanding. The food was outstanding and cooked well and tasty. Also the quantity was exceptional. I believe that LaLayenda is the very best restaurant of its kind in town. I suggest that everyone should attend this restaurant on a regular basis. Finally the service and prices were also the best. If I could give it seven stars if possible. Keep up the good work LaLayenda. We will come back on a regular basis.

As soon as we walked in at 7:30 on a Sunday night, we were told that by the host that the kitchen was about to close but we could still order. We had no idea that they closed at 8 pm. on a Sunday and the menu that they gave us said 9pm. The chips tasted stale and the salsa had NO HEAT. Our food came out really fast within 3 minutes of getting our chips and salsa and the food lacked seasoning and flavor. Right after receiving our food someone was mopping the floor right behind with a chemical that smelled like PINE SOL. WHO WANTS TO SMELL PINE SOL WHILE EATING? Don't recommend this place at all. I'm new to the area and have been to La Bamba's a few times and have gotten excellent service there. I thought I would try a new place with these guys but I won't be back. La Bamba's it is from now on because they give that hometown welcoming vibe.

For an empty dinning room service was bad . No check ups or drink refills from waitress !! The smell of cleaning chemicals was so strong it was nauseating which added to the bland taste of the rushed food !! Definitely marking this place off my list and will never recommend it !!

Great food, this place has the “freshest” tasting food in Dothan, the vegetables are always fresh and flavors pop. Had the steak ranchero, absolutely amazing. Thanks for the great meal. The rice and beans tased super fresh too which other places it taste stale or old, but never here.

Disappointed. Ordered large cheese dip, $12 wasted because it was Ice Cold with a liquid/milk like consistency. Clearly watered down and not great taste either. When queso is done right it should thicken as it gets cold, Not stay liquid. Their Salsa I really enjoyed on the other hand. Unfortunately, I will not be a customer here again.

The owner is great and when he suggested chicken tenders listen to him. We aren't chicken tender people so we ordered what we wanted and added his suggestion. Everything was great!

On the main USA get one price for 675 lunch buffet it was $18 a piece and the food is not good to see who is nasty and I told him I would never come back again the one in Dothan not in the price but the food was nasty it could eat the rest of the food strata home can I give it to my dog my dog walk away and my cat walk away cat eat rats that's must be really bad

This food was delicious!!!! My waitress was awesome!!! Everything about this place was great. It's location is great it's right off Ross Clark circle where I do my shopping. If you are spending the day out with the kids I recommend going here you will not be disappointed!!
