The service was prompt and friendly. The prices were decent. The restaurant is decorated well and pretty clean. The food left something to be desired. I wasn't overly impressed with any of it, and some things, like chile relleno, were just not good.

Food was OK. Service was absolutely HORRIBLE! The worst service I’ve had. Started ordering and waitress interrupted to recommend something and didn’t even bring out what I asked for. Waitress didn’t seem to care to give good service, only checked once on us, picked up plates, walked away and as she was walking away she stated “ You can pay at the front if you want “, extremely unprofessional and overall no good attitude.
Left a good tip but not for her service.
Could have gotten better food and ACTUAL GOOD SERVICE at El Rodeo or the Taqueria right around the corner.
Don’t come here, we will NEVER come back.

I got the burrito al Paisa when I went with my family and it was very good and very filling for like 12 bucks. La Leyenda’s is hands down the best AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant in the area. We’ve eaten every where and Le Ley’s has the freshest salsa & chips (their chips are warm and the salsa is made daily with fresh ingredients). Their #75 Nachos are amazing (I substitute shrimp for chorizo). Their street tacos beat any local competitors.

The molcajete is off menu & is very good! They also have great lunch deals.

Well decided to have some tacos and margaritas tonight and wanted to try a new place. I got trio fajitas and my wife got a burrito. The chips were fresh and hot if you order a large guacamole it's huge and more than enough for 3 people. The large margarita is massive and great. The fajitas were piled high and really good. Overall great experience . The atmosphere was relaxing and calm while we were here and everyone was super nice and helpful. Definitely a nice hidden spot.

First and foremost Betrice needs a attitude adjustment. This was mine and my husband's first and last time at this restaurant. Right ff the bat we got attitude when I told her it was just the two of us. Then before even sitting down she rudely said Drinks?? So I just gave her a basic answer of coke because I didn't get to look what they had. She immediately came back and wanted our food order right away and I asked for a few minutes. Then literally les then 2 minutes later she came back and was annoyed when we weren't ready yet. When we did order she never refilled our drinks and even remotely acknowledged us till she dropped the food off. Which tasted like it had been cooked in month old build up and was so greasy I could barely stomach it. Me and my husband got sick soon after leaving and were concerned of food poisoning. Our stomach still aren't right. But atleast we know to avoid this place in the future. Also word of advice lay off the salt in the salsa.

I'm not one to leave a bad review unless it's earned. But my God it's earned. Food was salted to an insane amount. And I don't know what it was but as I got up to pay my bill I was immediately nauseated and had to sit down. It's good food if you're used to salting your food to high heaven, but in general, not good. Especially for Mexican food. Wish they had more fresh garnish like a good Pico with the food, I even ordered guac that never came to make my dinner better. So I was pretty disappointed. But, if you need a fix for Mexican food and you're not going to the west coast and are stuck in rural Alabama. It'll work. I'll wait until then

Pay attention to your ticket. They over charged us on our entrees. The manager was extremely rude and nonchalant about it.

Ordered some choriqueso as an appetizer. There was no description on the menu so you assume that you get cheese with chorizo. Most Mexican restaurants use pico de gallo as a garnish. Well, 90% of this appetizer was pico de gallo and a very thin tater of cheese on the bottom. Told a gentleman who said he was the manager that the dish had very little cheese. He took the skillet back and brought backthe same skillet with cooked shredded cheese on it. And he wasn’t even embarrassed about it. The man claiming to be the manager was not very nice about it. The photo shows the pico I took off the queso.

Very disappointed with the service and the food. Called in a takeout order, arrived on time. AFTER paying for the food, we were informed that it would “be a few minutes,” and proceeded to wait 15 minutes for an order that was never sent to the kitchen. Instead of just telling us that there was an error, they took our payment and let us wait. For food that was apparently fresh from the kitchen, it was shockingly soggy. Very disappointing experience!

Well decided to have some tacos and margaritas tonight and wanted to try a new place. I got trio fajitas and my wife got a burrito. We ordered two meals for takeout. One was Beef Nachos and the other was Chicken Soft Taco. Both were extremely soggy and were unedible. Normally we have good food here. This is our last takeout from them.

Their was nothing wrong with the food, however, growing up in a border town, you come to expect a certain level of flavor in Mexican food. If you’re not from the border, I’m sure you’ll love this restaurant!

I don't know how this place has stayed in business. Beans taste as if they came out of a can, dry flavorless rice was gross. There's nothing "homemade" tasting about anything my husband nor i ate (attempted to eat but couldn't).. I wouldn't feed this meal to my dog. They have gone downhill terribly. Never again...

I have officially tried every Mexican restaurant in the Enterprise area. La Leyenda is absolutely my go to other than 1 other Mexican restaurant in Daleville which I would chose if it was closer.

The food here is absolutely delicious, the environment is great and the staff is truly amazing. The waiters and waitresses provide excellent service each and every time I’ve been here. Their consistency is absolutely exemplary! Kudos to you all. We will definitely be back again!

We ranked the Top 5 best in our Opinion and this restaurant is in the top 2. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to get a good Mexican style dish!

Apparently they can’t answer the phone, called 5 times in a row and still no answer! Ridiculous! If only I could give no stars. My mother and boyfriend were there eating and asked if I wanted anything but because the waiter kept messing up their food and couldn’t understand anything they said, they told me to call it in for them to grab on the way out. They could hear the phone ringing every time I called and the employees just stood there not picking up or just straight up walking past it.

Absolutely not, this place used to be good but today was just no. The waitresses were rude to me and my family, rushed us out, refused to give my aunt her bill, tried accusing us of not paying for all the food, over charged us, the food had no flavor, one dude couldn't even speak English, and we asked so many times for lemons, straws and it took them almost 20 minutes to get it, half of the people were just on their phones, they stared at us when we got mad about it, took 18% of a tip and they wouldn't let us even say anything about it, we paid almost $49 for barely anything, never refilled our drinks, and everytime we asked for something they would just go back to talking and were rude to us when we asked again. Plus they CHARGED MY DAD TO PAY WITH HIS CARD! And still tried saying that we didn't pay for everything. The waiters didn't even deserve a tip, they didn't do their job at all! We are very unsatisfied with the service we got, and my family and I are very upset about how they treated us, and we will not be returning to this restaurant. Absolutely terrible. Highly do NOT recommend! 😠😡

My first Mexican restaurant where the food was not good. I ordered a chicken and steak Quesadilla and the way they chopped the meat was like for a toddler and it was cold. The Mango Margarita was good until I drunk halfway down realizing it was no liquor in it for $11.99!!! I just never knew I could run across a bad Mexican restaurant. Definitely a one time visit.

This place has gone hill fast. The family and I went last night, to terrible service and terrible food. Our waitress spent more time sitting at an empty table and talking to other staff non stop. Our food leaked grease non stop with no seasoning. The salad was not fresh.

La Leyenda and Senor Claudio have consitently produced Excellent food for all of the years they have been open here in Enterprise. We have have had Many of the various from the menu, each being excellent. We avg eating here oabout once ea week or two. They are always willing to accomodate special requests and we have found they give great service even on takeout. We would Highly Reccomend!!!

They have numbers on the items on their menu. Number 75 is for La Leyenda Nachos. This dish is much more than just nachos. It has three kinds of meat, peppers and sauces that make it a real culinary experience. Incredible food! Go and try it.

Ordered cheese dip, it was cold. Ordered a chicken chimichanga, was given beef. The beef was bland. Waitress only came by right before we were about to leave to ask if everything was okay. No drinks were refilled. And no it was not a busy night.

We got our food to go. Was not good. Salsa felt like I could buy it some where and not good. Chips were decent but that was the only good thing about the meal. Ordered a enchilada meal. It was small and bottom of the enchilada was hard. Tasted like old cheese. Beans didn’t taste good either, tasted like from a old can. Ended up throwing the food out and got sick from it also. Would not recommend! Never going there again. Better places to eat around enterprise i would prefer going to.

I simply asked the waiter to put on his mask less than three feet from my family member taking his order. He didn't, he replied do you want me to serve you or not, when he came back he tried to separate us from our table. While everyone else in other big groups were still together so we walked out before odering

Be aware of this place I don't see how they have 4 stars. Ok first off we called in an order it took them almost an hour of us waiting in the parking lot after being told 15 mins over the phone then when we finally got lunch they didn't give us the right order then my husband had to turn around and go back in. Then they quote cocorrected it but mine was dried out and burnt and unedible so my husband took it back in and they just replated it and said it was fresh. So back in my husband goes and they just give him a partial refund for mine partial. So I was without lunch and money. This place is horrible avoid at all cost. Oh and my husbands lunch with a drink was 27.00 dollars for trash. Avoid.

I like it, and I travel to Mexico often, it's not fancy inside though, but it's still the typical fast service you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. Much closer to real Mexican food than Taco Bell or others which do stupid stuff like put cheddar/American cheese in enchiladas. I recommend trying these guys out. The chips and dip are above average too.

The margaritas are strong. The cheese dip isn't too spicy for my kids. And the carnitas and enchiladas are amazing. The rest of the menu is fantastic those two are just my favorites.
