THE BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN ENTERPRISE! The food, service and mixed drinks are delicious. The bathrooms are always clean which means a lot to my wife and I.

Highly disappointed! Food greasy, had a pork taste to it but i had steak, shrimp and chicken fajita. what I could eat past the pork tasting grease was flavorless. Beans was clearly old cause they had a shell of hard bean topping that I could poke my folk in. I had to find my waitress to tell her about it she said "ill tell the cook so next time it's not so greasy" all i could do was ask for my check. . 0/10 wouldn't recommend.

Sucks sucks sucks... oh... and sucks.
Asked for a ground beef San Marcos Salad. Special request was to reheat the already cooked salad shell so that it would be hot. (30 SECOND DROP). Comes with chips and salsa.
I live less than 5 minutes away.
I told them ahead of time that I would bring it back if it wasn't right.
Got My order... the shell was barely warm... the chips for the salsa wasn't warm at all. The ground beef in the salad was barely warm and no where near safe serving temp.
I took it back and was told I could not get a refund because the manager was out of town
I objected and said yes I could get a refund because the food wasn't to standard. They called the police on me saying I was disrespectful. (I wasn't... trust me... i really really could have been) I left immediately as I didn't want a confrontation... but I WILL be back...
I've got to apologize... I was a little bit hasty in my review.. I was hungry and grumpy.
But now that I've had some time think, I'm not quite as angry. Since I no longer had food... or money to buy it, the piece of buttered toast with a packet of ketchup helped me see the true nature of my situation...

I've been here twice when I came to visit my son. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is vibrant and colorful, the food is...omg. large portions, decent pricing, DELICIOUS! You get chips and salsa upon arrival, always the perfect snack while deciding your meal ;)
Today I had the Birria style tacos- you get 3 and a scoop of rice. The sauce was flavorful, the meat was tender, the rice was rice. I look forward to going back and trying something new!

From the consistently delicious food, to the incredibly friendly staff, and even the overall cleanliness of the restaurant (both inside and out)..you will always walk out of San Marcos full and satisfied.

As a customer, the first thing that we judge a restaurant on isn't the staff or even the chips & dip; it's the exterior and the moment that we lay eyes on the restaurant. Although Enterprise isn't exactly known for its "cleanliness", I've never seen the parking lot of San Marcos dirty or full of trash. It's clear to see that they care about not only the quality of their food or the overall satisfaction of their employees/customers, but also their appearance and the reputation that they uphold. San Marcos sets the standard of what ALL restaurants should hold themselves to. 10/10 would recommend!

Can't get past the taste of oil, the food in each plate was absolutely covered in it. The first few bites were good, after that it was all oil. I also ordered steak and got chicken. The ham is like deli ham. The beams and rice were actually quite delicious.

Yikes. It was fine maybe a couple years ago but recently went back for a date night with my Wife and it was just.. bad. Table we were sat at was dirty, had rice all over the table and seats (found out the hard way by resting my arm on a pile of it), food came out and mine had a hair in it, and I was just hoping it was mine. But then again it probably wasn't because there was another short black hair just laying there on another plate that had been brought out for us. Also barely anyone sitting in our waiters area but service was extremely slow, waited about 20 minutes for our waiter to come back just for the check so we could leave the quite annoying atmosphere; Obnoxious loud fans as well as the light on them fully throwing off the "vibe" they were trying to achieve (not to mention the migraine we had to sit through from the fan lights strobing because of the fan panels.) Just disappointed.

Always delicious. I usually get the nachos locos with an extra side of the cheese house dip. Waitress was so great, we didn't wait for anything. If we ran out of salsa, she would appear out of nowhere with more! It is always a great experience here

This place is far from being close to Labamba's. It was horrible The first time we tried it also, but I was willing to give it a try after the newness wore off. The salsa tastes weird, the margarita taste like lemon water and wasn't served with lime, I brought it to the servers attention and was brought another horrible drink that tasted the exact same. The server brought out the wrong food to my husband, and after bringing it, he had to remind them he got fajitas and needed his tortillas. Also the bill was a lot higher than average.

Went in for happy hour. Pointed directly to the happy hour picture while ordering. Was served full price margaritas. Was told once we received our bill that “the menu needs updating because the picture isn’t the correct size for happy hour”. If you go for happy hour, SPECIFY the size or pay double the price.

I payed an unreasonable amount for "churros and ice cream" when I received the dish it was maybe 5 absolutely disgusting churros and a spoonful of whipped cream with sprinkles and a cheap cherry. I also ordered a quesadilla that was mainly watered down cheese with a side of meat. Eating it made me almost vomit. The restroom was dirty and had curse words keyed into the towel dispenser, (this dispenser also only gave about two inches [Im not exaggrating] of paper towel.) The service was awful, i inquired about the whipped cream, (kindly, I wasnt even upset) and they insisted that it was ice cream and to leave them be. Overall, underwhelming food and awful service. Thank you.

Placed a to go order on their website, everything went through and received the confirmation email with the time to pick up the order. When I arrived a man said he would go check on my order and I never saw him again. After 15 minutes I asked the normal hostess about my order and she went back to check on it. It was another 15 minutes until it was ready.

When I received the food it was hot so I guess they just missed my order. Food was good but the lack of service picking up ruined the experience.

They do have asada burritos even though their menu says "beef" usually ground beef in this area of America.

Where im from beef always means asada at a mex restaurant. Not in the south lol.

I used to go for lunch and order the huevos rancheros. Was really good for a while , then the quality started going down. Then there was a lack of consistency and the downhill slide has begun. I ve seen this in numerous restaurants since the end of the scamdemic.

Service was prompt from the front host stand to the table. Drinks were also good, had a fishbowl frozen strawberry margarita - good for two people, great taste and balance!
Food was excellent, from the tacos to the Hawaiian fajitas. The queso is a must!

The price was good, but the food was horrible. We ordered fajitas and nachos locos (loaded nachos w/ chicken, steak, and shrimp). The nachos we okay, just a little on the soggy side. The problem was with the fajitas. They came out warm, no sizzle at all that would indicate that they were freshly made, you could touch the skillet and tell it was just cooked. The chicken had NO flavor whatsoever, it tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. On top of that there is a single bathroom, so during peak hours it can get rough.

Excellent food! They have a fresh guacamole that is made at your table cannot recommend this enough! Wonderful service all around good family restaurant. We will definitely be back. "EDIT" this review was from 2 years ago and it is not the same today. My family and I revisited the establishment today only to be filled with regret. Both of my children where brought the incorrect meals after bringing this to the attention of the staff we are instantly treated as if we are trying to get free food. My children where left without food until we decided to leave 38 minutes later then the 2 cheese quesadillas emerged from the kitchen cold in a to go box. On top of this we where charged for a side dish we did not order/receive. Management made no attempt to rectify the situation in any way I was told only that the owner is on vacation in Mexico. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. There are much better Mexican restaurants in Enterprise just drive down the road and pick one that doesn't say San Marcos on the sign.

Ground beef was really greasy. Waiter was very busy and did the best he could. Margaritas were good for 2.99. With as many Mexicans options that we have in Enterprise I probably won't go back though.

The food is reasonably priced, the service is excellent, the newly redesigned dining room is beautiful, the food comes fast and they weren't too busy. I recommend for lunch or supper. Because the food comes fast, you can easily eat and be gone if you have about 45 minutes for lunch. If you order ahead, you can pick up your food more quickly.

The food was okay and the service was a little slow. The reason for the low score for atmosphere was because there was a huge cockroach above our table. A staff member came out with a cut off jug taped to a stick and removed it. Made me wonder if they just rigged that up or if it was already made up because of possibly happening before??!

Food was good. Hot dog for my kid was obviously microwaved and burnt however. Service was terrible. Didn’t give us plates to eat off of after giving us the fajitas for two. Never came to our table and asked us if we needed anything. Never asked us if the food was good. Never came to refill drinks We were only seen once by our server and they were not busy at all. We ended up having to flag a lady down for just some napkins and drink refills. Next time we will just take it to go.

The servers are kind, friendly, and professional. We've been several times and never had issues with service. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, I would recommend ordering the tacos al pastor. I didn't find the enchiladas to be noteworthy, but I grew up on the border and can be very picky when it comes to Mexican food. The cheese dip is tasty, and the burrito California is my go to when I'm wanting texmex! If you live in Enterprise, this is the best Mexican restaurant in regards to food, price, service, and atmosphere!

Just like the San Marcos in Montgomery, we were seated promptly, able to order our food and the was delivered very quick. The food was not great but was good and well worth the reasonable cost. We you are on an hour lunch break, I appreciated them keeping things moving for those of us on the clock.

Food tasted burnt, and I see from the reviews that this is common. Waiter was mediocre, but the check out was a disaster. Guy had to call a waitress to check me out, then didn't five me the "change" part of my change. Had to get the waitress back. He didn't even acknowledge his error. Left a bad review a year ago. Gave it another chance a couple months ago. WOW! Something changed! Food was great and service was fast and friendly. We're regulars again.

So they gave me options of food, service, and atmosphere to rate from. I give it a 4 because the food is mediocre. The only thing I will eat there is the table side Guacamole. The service is great. Drinks always refilled, chips and salsa never run out, very friendly and takes care of their guests. The atmosphere is eh...if there are not many people there, I feel creeped out like a murder took place before I got there, lol (just how I feel). I just don't like that place when it isn't busy.

Was craving tres leches. This is the only restaurant in the area that has it. When I tell you…. This was the worst, most dry excuse for tres leches I’ve ever seen. Not even a single strawberry. $6 for a piece of plain white cake with chocolate syrup. Yikes. Do not recommend.

Alcohol and prices are good but.... None of the food was worth it in my opinion. We had a smattering of foods, and none of them whelmed... Taco meat was burnt, quesadilla was dry and full of dry chicken instead of balanced in any way. The rice and beans were decent, but none of the food was particularly tasty.

Margaritas we're fantastic, service was good. Just wouldn't suggest eating here, get drinks and enjoy the fun atmosphere.

Very fresh chips and the salsa had the perfect kick. Lunch specials are a bunch of food for a good price.
