Casa Mexicana Restaurant

Casa always has good service and great food.
The chips and salsa are plentiful and flavorful.
My favorite menu items are the steak and shrimp taco salad, chicken taquitos, Fajita nachos, or steak tacos.
I've always had a good experience every time I've eaten here.

The food here is so good! The service is amazing and they always accommodate for our vegetarian diets. My favorite item has to be the side of rice. We always get one so that we can take some home. Would recommend to everyone.

I got the shrimp with squash & broccoli over a bed of rice covered lightly with cheese sauce. It was delicious!! Large portions! Pic is of the leftovers I took home. Would go back again!

The food was excellent the chips were truly bottomless and the small children were showered with love humor and patience. Would have easily earned 5 stars if not for the wait to have our order taken and how often we were out of drinks. Bigger glasses for the tea and sodas would be appreciated.

I love them. I know the bathrooms in a restaurant aren't usually the first thing anyone praises, but please understand. I suffer from severe OCD, and a dirty bathroom brings me a great deal of anxiety, as if I am falling into myself, almost floating in the fear I feel. NOT A PROBLEM HERE! They're spotless, the sinks are big, the water is hot, and the soap was fully stocked up. Whoever they had clean the lady's room did a wonderful job. My mind was at ease. Thank you so much! It means a lot to folks like me!

Now, for the food. Oh my GOD the food is delicious here. I'd never had veggie nachos before. I'm a meat lovin' gal, you see, so the standard ground beef and cheese is my go-to.

Or, should I say, WAS my go-to. These nachos are perfect. The cooks aren't stingy with the toppings. Chips, cheese, and an absolute mountain of seasoned vegetables. I felt like I was having a treat for my soul and also doing something relatively healthy for my body! I'm sure the nutrients and healthy parts of the veggies were long gone, since the nachos tasted so good and made me happy and were a joy to eat, but is that gonna stop me from getting them in the future? Hell no! Nutrition be damned. I'm here to enjoy my food, and if there's still some vitamins and minerals in there, that's a nice bonus!

The service was wonderful, too! Isaac is a lovely waiter who doesn't keep you, well, waiting. He was polite, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. The woman at the front desk is always courteous and professional as well, and I would mention her by name...if I had remembered to read her name tag. I'm sorry, woman at the front desk. You did a great job, and I just didn't catch your name.

The place is clean, the music is nice, and the lights aren't down too low. Not much I can say other than that, since I was horfing down nachos like nobody's business and didn't really take in the sights. It's a nice looking place! The cleanliness of a place is more important to me than the look of it, though, and they did a great job with that. No mess on the table, comfy booths, what more could you want?

I just left this restaurant and I gotta say, I am disgusted after being served raw meat in my taco salad. To their credit, they tried to make it right and brought out a new, fully cooked meal, but after being served raw meat and making myself throw it up in the bathroom to avoid food poisoning, I couldn’t eat it and was still charged for it. Would not recommend.

This has been a family favorite since it opened. ACTUALLY, it’s been a family favorite since it FIRST opened many moons ago as the second location of El Toro. I worked at the original ET, and helped open this location, too. The service is always terrific and the prices are great. We had chimichangas and fajitas and burritos and cheese dip their delicious salsa. It was all amazing! We’ll be back soon, I’m sure! The best casual place to bring friends and family!

Someone needs to check plates before they go to customer. Looks like too much employees socializing and less taking care of business. Ordered taquitos Mexicanos. They tasted awful like freezer burn and then burnt again during prep. Shredded lettuce with dap of sour cream on side and I could go on but biggest issue is I became sick before making it home and was sick all night. Should have pushed plate back after first bite.
My advice is to get back to taking care of business and much less employees laughing and giggling and socializing, make sure food is ready to go to customers or this business will suffer. I doubt we will go back. Just trying to help your business.

I've always had a great experience at Casa. The staff is consistently friendly and polite, and the food is delicious every time.

In my opinion, this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. It quietly sits at the end of a shopping center without any flashy signs or statues trying to grab your attention. But when you pass by nearly any time of day and wonder why there are so many cars, Casa is the reason. It has been a favorite dining spot for many in the area for as long as I can remember, and for good reason.
The grilled chicken taco salad is a favorite of mine as is the shrimp quesadilla. Probably unexpected, but the chicken wings are amazing too! More importantly though, Casa is a clean establishment with great people and even better food at good prices. The low turnover in staff speaks volumes about the restaurant, especially if you've ever worked in one. My husband and I can eat here and not spend much more than we would if we both ordered combo meals from a fast food place.
From the free chips and salsa to the wide variety of delicious food choices, Casa consistently exceeds expectations. It's easy to see why this unassuming gem has remained a favorite in the community for so many years. If you're looking for a place with welcoming staff, a cozy atmosphere, and excellent food for a group of one or many, Casa is the place to go.

We eat here regularly, no less than 4-6 times per month. The service and food are always amazing. Consistently. Every single time. No matter how packed and busy they are, everything is always fabulous. Any time we order to pick up, we get plenty of everything we need, chips, salsa, sides; they don’t forget a thing. We have other Mexican restaurants in town and we always go to Casa because we just know it’s the best one around!! 💃🏼🌮

First time here. It was very slow when we arrived. The hostess took us the far reaches of the restaurant and seated us in a booth next to the restroom. We were moved to a table after asking.
Went with the steak fajitas. Tons of onions, peppers, rice, beans, lettuce, a small amount of guacamole, and Pico. The steak was practically nonexistent and was very tiny hard strips, about 2" long and not even a 1/4" thick. The veggies and steak were drowning in oil.
If, and I say, if we go back, I will try something different. Not impressed.

The food isn’t the best casa in the area but it’s good. The best is the one in Sheffield, although the portions are generous here. The margaritas are the standard green chemical with a shot or so of Montezuma. The reason for the fairly negative review is having to pay $4.25 per extra salsa. I’ve been coming here on and off for 15~? Years as well as just about every other Mexican restaurant in the area, and when asking for green or hot sauce they just give it to you. When I asked about the extra charge they said “they’ve always done it”. Well I ate here 3 weeks ago and you didn’t. Oh well. Off the list.

We visited two nights in a row. The waitress we had the first night was very timely at refilling our drinks and checking on us. The second night the young man wasn't as swift. The food was excellent both evenings.

The atmosphere went completely downhill when I asked if the restaurant gave a military discount. Actually we have been to the restaurant no less than 6 times and had always received a discount. If there is no discount, that is fine with me BUT I was totally shocked at the woman's comment at the hostess desk. She informed me rudely, "We do NOT support Your military and NO we do not give a discount.". I refuse to go back to such an anti-American restaurant. I spent almost 40 years in the USAF to fight for the freedom so business owners of all races can freely open restaurants and other businesses. I am making sure to pass the word. I do not need a discount but am very appreciative of receiving one. I just do not need to be treated rudely.

Hands down the absolute worst mexican food I have ever had in my life. It should get a negative review. The refried beans were disgusting. My little girl's cheese enchiladas were not even edible. The chips were stale and the mixed fajitas barely had any meat and no flavor. My family and I eat there alot but we will never be back there again. It has always been really good until here recently. Very disappointing after spending 50 bucks. I dont mind spending that much at all considering the price of everything is at an all time high if the food is decent, but there was nothing decent about it.

First time eating there , I was extremely impressed with my first bite! Large portions and cooked to perfection. I had fajita Hawaiian 15.75 and Tamale 3x 10.99. The price is excellent for the food. you must try it.

We were seated in the bar area because we had a rather large group. Had the Enchilada Mexicana. It was very good and they weren't shy on the portions. Other members had the fajitas which were also very good . We were served very quickly and the service was excellent. Prices are reasonable and we weren't rushed with our meal. I would truly recommend this restaurant.

Came on a Saturday around 2pm and walked in to a very rude employee who rolled their eyes that we walked in (I understand we came after the lunch rush on a weekend but I felt not welcomed at all by this cold greeting)

Then we were sat down at a table and waited 20 minutes still without seeing or hearing from anyone.

We gave them plenty of time to even just let us know they knew we were there but no one even noticed we were there.

30 mins later and still no greeting or anyone to get us drinks. Ended up leaving and no one even cared…. We never will return here. Can’t even give a review of the food since we never even got the chance to order.

There’s plenty of other restaurants around we can make our normal dining spot but this one is definitely crossed off the list.

My family loves mexican food and my husband and I have been coming here for over 20 years (high school days). We have 2 favorite mexican restaurants this is one of them. The atmosphere is nice the staff are all very nice and helpful. Food comes out quick and its scrumptious. Casa never disappoints.
