Fiesta Mexicana

I don't know how many Fiesta Mexicans there are, but this one is the worst I've been to. Third time trying it. It's been a couple of years since last visiting. The food still tastes terrible and is presented poorly. The pork I had tasted old, if not spoiled. The service is not good. Feels like eating in a daycare. Just gross

0 stars! This place has given me food poisoning TWICE! These incidents were about 1.5 months apart. The first time I got food poisoning from here, I had the shredded chicken nachos. I FIGURED that I had gotten sick because I ate the food the next day instead of immediately when I got it. But then, I sadly ordered the pollo con arroz 11/29 and I ate not even half of the food as soon as I got it. Maybe 2 hours later, I could tell that I had food poisoning again. Long story short, I had to go to the ER and have IV Fluids because I was dehydrated from throwing up so much. Each time I was up all night, every 1-3 hours throwing up until I literally had nothing left to throw up but bile! Couldn't even hold down water this second time. Never again!

I went to fiesta to grab some lunch on my lunch break. I was seated immediately and I had chips, salsa and my drink within 5 minutes of arriving. I ordered the fajita taco salad which was sooo fresh when I got it that I had to wait for it to cool down. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Really nice staff also.

I go out to eat all the time and I enjoyed my experience. Our server was very nice and friendly. The food was very good too thank you.

Staff is disrespectful, there’s one customer in the restaurant yet a two item order is still not done yet. Staff is literally on their phones. Not to mention the very rude sign denying people who aren’t customers use of their restrooms, most people who aren’t customers won’t come in to use the restroom at a restaurant anyway so as a customer it just comes off as rude and genuine makes me feel like I’d rather take my business elsewhere

The chips were stale.Server never returned with more salsa or refills. I had a combo platter with taco,Enchilada and Tamale. The taco was just okay. The Enchilada and Tamale were barely warm,the sauce was awful and tasted like warmed ketchup.

There was a big,long table of young people,drinking beside us. They were SO LOUD,we could not hear one another talking and had to text! Management should have asked them to turn it down! I don't live in the area,but if I did,I would never step foot on their STICKY floors ( and tables) again.

I waited over a hour for my food to come out and my server was drunk, and spilt another tables alcohol on our table and didn’t clean it up and they brought us the wrong food and didn’t want to remake it

Atmosphere got 5 stars solely because we were the only ones eating. Request of no cheese (dairy allergies) on a single burrito had to be returned 3 times. Every time a "new" burrito was brought to the table it was on the same plate that still had the same cheese stuck to it. The back talk and complete lack of effort by the staff for the only 4 people dining should warrant retraining.

They charged me $3.30 to add cheese dip on my burrito, but a small cheese dip is $3.90. They have never charged me for a little bit of cheese dip and it’s ridiculous. I would’ve just ordered a small cheese dip at that point.

We love karaoke night Monday/Wednesday with Ricky McDaniel!! He's a good guy and KJ! Most of the time the food is pretty good and service. $2.99 margarita Monday and $1.50 bottles beer Wednesday. Made a lot of friends here, some sing, some listen lol A lot of fun and kids are welcome.

This is the second time this week I have placed a to-go order and was not sent what I ordered. The first time I used Uber Eats so a $25 order cost me $60. When It arrived at my home, it was much less than what I ordered. Today, I ordered and came to pick the order up. When I got it back home and opened it up, it was wrong again! The order on the receipt was correct, but the food did not match what was ordering. I’m not sure what the confusion is.

this bad review doesn’t reflect the food or atmosphere, i had awful service tonight. the waitress had an attitude since the second we sat down and did not want to serve us, clearly. i suppose she was under the impression that her tip wouldn’t be good since her service was poor, so she took that upon herself and added an automatic tip to our table of less than 8 people. i guess she thought we wouldn’t notice. thanks to the nice man at the cash register who fixed our tickets! i’ll still go to fiesta but will never let her be my waitress again.

We had a large group and that always changes the dynamic of service. Food was ok... we had fajitas, and it took five to ten minutes to get the tortillas after receiving the fajita meat and veggies...

Fiesta is a Staple of mexican in Florence. Its always been the go-to place to tame those quesadilla cravings!! Plus its one of the few intimate settings for acoustic live music left after the, you know what-19 shut every body down. Glad to see the Fiesta folks back serving the Shoals area some fine Mexican favorites!!

Called in an order, said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived 30 minutes later, waited an additional 10 or more minutes. We checked our bags before leaving parking lot, didn't receive all our order. Husband went back in and told them, he then was told to bring all our bags back in (like we were not telling the truth). He came back out with everything gave me one of the bags and red sauce poured all over my lap, seat, phone, wallet, floor board because apparently they didn't closed the lid they opened!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SERVICE!!!!!!!
Only reason I gave them a 1 star is because it will not allow a 0!

Fiesta is my favorite Mexican restaurant by far however, the other night I was not impressed with this location. I ordered Fiesta Special and it came out with uncooked broccoli, tons of onions and it just looked a hot mess. I didnt complain I just brought it home and cooked it a little longer.

The beef taco salad is always good. My husband got fajitas and they brought out the meat and veggies sizzling on a pan which made him very happy. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Where to start. I want to love this restaurant. It’s extremely convenient for me but goodness. The service was so horrible I quit going for over a year. I finally returned and the service for trip one was great! The food is ok, nothing great, but trip two reminded me why I stopped going. It’s crazy how bad the service is. As a former server I just can’t believe how bad the service is. Just go any weekend night. There’s a reason there’s no wait. When you just sit there and employees are are looking at their phones or couldn’t care less it’s frustrating. There is one server who is really great. If you don’t get her, good luck. The food and margarita ls are just ok. There’s many other options even another great place within 3 blocks.

If I could give this place less than one star, I definitely would. We ate here after graduation, waited at least 45 min for our food and were practically the only people in the restaurant. When our food finally arrived, it was completely cold. The reviews across our party was pretty much mixed as far as taste, depending on their particular dish. I can only speak for the burrito, which was absolutely horrible. The taste was so bad, I could only manage enough bites so that my stomach wasn’t churning with hunger while waiting on everyone else to eat. I can honestly say without a doubt, this is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to, I could have ignored the poor service had the food been decent. It could be that I, only with a couple more in our party just ended up ordering the worst tasting item on the menu with everything else being great? I can’t be sure, but there really are no words to how badly my plate of food tasted, from the rice to the beans to the burrito itself. I would encourage anyone that has a taste for Mexican, to keep looking elsewhere. 🤮🤮🤮

Do not order from here through a delivery app! The portion is almost half what they give their customers who eat at the restaurant. Management doesn't care and even told me that next time I should just eat there if I want a full portion!

Had to change this review. I guess my thoughtful patronage isn't actually appreciated and they're definitely not as friendly as they used to be.

Show up over an hour before close. Kid obviously forgets to put my food in, blames the kitchen. (Why'd you tell me you couldn't put my tacos in 30 minutes after I ordered it? Then over charged me still lol) Manager casually walks by and tells me they put everything away already. I guess don't go past 8? Waited 40 minutes for my food then felt rushed out immediately after receiving it and they still didn't close for another 25 minutes!

Frozen margaritas were soupy and refused to re make them correctly then proceeded to threaten to call the police when I asked to get the item removed from my ticket. Management was rude and unpleasant.

This place is, by far, the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. I drive back to Florence sometimes just to eat it again. Great service, great atmosphere, and I'll say it again. Great food!!

This review is concerning the 7-Points Location. The quality of the food and service has dropped. I have gotten food from here multiple times during 2020 and have not been satisfied with the food and service. The corn tortillas have had mold on them, the food hasn't tasted good, and the guacamole dip that I bought recently had a dark watery substance in it. I have never seen quac dip look like that!
As far as service goes, this new manager, host, or whatever he is....I get bad vibes from him. His attitude just seems off. I will be getting my Mexican food elsewhere.

I didn't really feel comfortable as a black woman eating here. Also they didn't really seem to care about what we ordered or what we wanted. They didn't even care to give us forks. Also they weren't wearing gloves at all the woman who bought us salsa basically had her fingers in it. honestly horrible service horrible experience.

I ate lunch here today and unfortunately due to our 'after experience' we do not feel comfortable coming back. The waiter appeared professional the whole time we were there, we gave him a tip, I paid with my credit card with the cashier 'another associate' and left. One hour, or could have been less, my daughter received a private message on Facebook from the waiter telling her 'he was her waiter and how beautiful she was'. One, my daughter never spoke her name or gave him any personal information. He evidently went up from to the cashier, found our receipt, got my name, found me and my daughter on Facebook, sent me a friend request, and my daughter that private message. My daughter was immediately shaken and startled, me as a mother angry... It was very inappropriate. And to think when you pay with a credit card, a waiter thumbing through receipts to get information on you and stalk you on Facebook. Its just creepy. So if you have a waiter with a lot of tattoo's, ask for a different one to serve you!

Have nothing good to say. They over charge for extra bags of chips all the time and now recently my wife and I have both gotten very sick after eating their cheese dip. We separately on two different occasions a month apart experienced the worst stomach upset of our lives. Ughh won't be eating anything from there again. Something is not right about that and I'm too afraid to even think about all the possibilities.

I'd always liked coming here. But I came yesterday, and was disappointed with the service. There weren't many there, but the service was taking disappointingly long. I wasn't given chips and salsa right away, and when I was out of salsa, the server finally showed up, apologizing, claiming he thought I was on the "other side of the room." He took my order, and brought my tea. He failed include a straw. And promised more salsa, but didn't bring it. Just kept going to other tables, like I was being ignored, or invisible. So I just left.
