They will refuse to give you an itemized receipt when asked. They charge a ridiculous amount. They’ll just say that prices went up with no further explanation. 2 kids meals and 2 lunch specials. $70 for lunch. I enjoyed the food and server but will not be back and will never recommend after that.

Food was terrible. Taco meat was cold. Look at the liquid in the box where the taco salad was sitting originally. Orange rice and the beans were pour able they were so runny

Found this restaurant by sheer luck when out driving, and what a great find! Delicious food, really nice staff, fast service, and authentic Mexican flavors made for a wonderful experience and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Honestly I was thinking by the reviews this was a great place but I saw also nobody in the parking lot so I was a little confused and was thinking maybe this ain't that Mexican place it claims to be.... But we went in and then I quickly realized they charged for chips, salsa and if you want more chips it's even more, that's crazy for a Mexican restaurant. It's just understood you get free chips and salsa from the start, similar to rolls at southern restaurants. Then what did me in was the prices! We left and drove across the street.

The servers can’t speak English. I had food allergies that I couldn’t communicate to the staff. Food is very overpriced for the quality and quantity. The overall value isn’t great at all.

NOTE --- my review is for the new Killen, Alabama location located on Highway 72.

There are plenty of similar Mexican restaurants in the Shoals area but In my opinion Little Mexico is the BEST of all of them. Even though the menu selections are practically the same, from Mexican restaurant to the other, the taste of the selections I've gotten here excel above all the others.

A few drawbacks are that they are having some of the usual, expected, newly opened restaurant problems but those will go away. The parking lot is mostly gravel making it more difficult for someone in a wheelchair to access the restaurant but they do have concrete pad parking spaces on the sides of the building.

This place is popular and business is growing and for good reason. People usually flock to the best and Little Mexico is the Shoals best Mexican food. There may be 8 to 10 other, different, Mexican restaurants in the area but each has their own taste and flavor of the way they cook their beef, chicken, steak, seafood and Little Mexico is worth going the extra distance for. It's just better!

I got a cheeseburger and fries and well when I called and made my order and didn't ask what I wanted on it or asked for my name,but I went and got it and got home it was nothing on it but cheese.the burger was a little hard.

This was our second time eating there first time was take out. Second time was dining in was it good experience. Only one suggestion that they bring all the food out at the same time two out of five of our meals came out about 5 minutes later after we received the first three.

We luckily found this place while out driving around. I ordered the tamale lunch plate and it was perfect. Fast, friendly service and great food to die for. From a restaurant owner mindset, I WAS IMPRESSED!! Great job guys. Keep up the great job.

This is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever visited. Thats sad to say because Mexican food is my favorite thing to eat. The price for chicken, cheese, and rice with a small guacamole was $15.86. The guacamole contents were not grinded up properly, and there were several large slices of tomato, onion, and whole hearbs that were to bulky. The guacamole also was discolored. The chips were very brittle, and would break trying to dip the guacamole out of the container. I would recommend Casa Mexicana. The same dish with guacamole would cost me $11.78, considering the better quality food. Keep this in mind before visiting here. Quality guacamole is blended perfectly, and prices can compete with the competition. Don't eat here. Go across the street to Curtis's if you want a 5 star meal.

My son ordered beef and cheese only burrito, however, when his food arrived the burrito had onions and some unknown food, when I mentioned this to the server she told me that's how the meat comes, when I asked why she didn't tell me that when I ordered she simply stated sorry and walked away, never to be seen again. No refills or anything...last time here for me.

I don’t see how you could give this place any less than a “5” rating! Terrific food- tasty but not exactly like every other Mexican restaurant in the area. My table got chimichangas and quesadillas and chalupas and cheese dip. The rice was especially good and we all enjoyed the entrees. Service was attentive and friendly and four of us ate for less than $50 including a good tip.

Off the beaten path with fresh flavor. Clean restaurant. Friendly wait staff. Good prices, comparable to the other Mexican restaurantd in the area. Parking is limited, but we just park in front of the neighbor business. Food tasted great... slightly different flavor than most everyone else in the county.
