The waitress was friendly and attentive. We didn’t have to wait long for our food and they were good. The chips and salsa were also good. I ordered a California burrito to go. I was surprised that it came with chips and salsa. My husband said it was good. They give 10% discount for military. Overall, it was a great experience

The best Mexican restaurant in the area. We had Tate, the bartender, serve us today. He was nothing short of excellent. He gave us a good show and danced the cha cha. He was very attentive and took the best care of us and made sure we had the best experience. If you stop in you MUST say hey to Tate!

Went in on New Year's Eve @ 8:30 -- they close @ 9:00. I felt bad bc I knew they would be closing soon, but the bartender assured me it was OK. She never made me feel rushed & the lobster tacos were delicious! And, I'm happy to report I walked out @ 9:00 on the dot!

Save your time and money for the Fairhope location instead! The Foley location is so unprofessional. I was talked down to by the manager AND hostess both over a coupon worth $5.99! I ordered over the phone, the hostess never mentioned i couldn’t use the coupon on my To Go order, the coupon never mentioned anything about it either, yet when I came to pick up my order the manager immediately started making a huge fuss with me about it and having an attitude! Then when I saw my bill, they were charging me for 3 extra cheese dips that I never ordered! The hostess started yelling at me saying I was lying and that I did order 3 more cheese dips. No lady, I ordered a “free cheese dip”- not a free cheese dip and three more cheese dips. How dare you yell at me for your own mistakes? Then the manager started yelling more. Whats worse is all of this happened in front of my 6 year old daughter. I left without my order and decided to take my business to my home location in fairhope instead! After we left foley, my daughter kept telling me how scared she was for how these people were talking to me. She was holding onto my arm so tight the whole time. We are both so upset over this. All of it could’ve been avoided if your manager could’ve just treated me with respect or if you guys labeled your coupons accurately or trained your employees better! Instead we were attacked by him and his employee. Shame on y’all. I hope you guys had a terrible night after this and I hope you both read this review. The fairhope location was so sweet and helpful after this nightmare. DO BETTER. BE A KIND HUMAN BEING.

Food well prepared, fresh, and delicious. I had a “bowl” with shrimp, rice, beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, broccoli, and sour cream. At first I thought BROCCOLI!!! But I happen to like it, it’s perfectly seasoned and steamed, actually refreshing with the other typical ingredients of Mexican restaurant food. Just enough for a meal without leftovers. Had house lime margarita, TOO MUCH ice for a $13 large drink! Couldn’t enjoy the salt without a mouthful of ice…asked for a cup & spoon to scoop out some of the ice. Not a real world problem! Flavor of drink just ok….despite arriving cute with a flower floating on top😊 I’ll be back again for another try soon! Reasonable prices, kid friendly, wheelchair accessible to double glass doors, low threshold and open, moveable spaces that can accommodate a wheelchair. Clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Came here with some friends for lunch recently. Asked what the difference was between the lunch fajitas and the dinner fajitas. Our waitress said that it was the same as the dinner with the same amount of food. So I ordered the lunch fajitas. Asked for no sour cream and extra guacamole. The fajitas were flavorless and cold as well as the beans rice and the plate. I asked the waitress if they could remake it because it was cold and she said she would talk to the manager. The manager was a tall short haired blonde lady that wreaked of perfume. She came over and blurted out “what’s the problem?” I told here what the problem was and she argued that they don’t came out on a sizzling skillet like the dinner. When I told her that that was fine and that I just wanted hot food she tried to grab the plate out of my hand while angrily saying she would just take it off the ticket. I said that’s fine but I still want my lunch. She said they would remake it. 20 minutes later the food came out. It was the same plate of food and was just heated up some as the same marks of sour cream and burnt vegetables were in the same spots in the plate. The waitress said she would take it off the ticket but never did. Three years ago the food was delicious here and service was good. It has steadily gone downhill since. Every few months I have tried it again with friends that wanted to go and it has been worse every time. The portions, quality, and service. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone and would recommend to go to the one in gulf shores as Gerald is great manager and does great to ensure the service and food is done right.

The cheese dip was smaller than the small bowl that comes to the table and they left out the sides. Came here with some friends for lunch recently. Asked what the difference was between the lunch fajitas and the dinner fajitas. Our waitress said that it was the same as the dinner with the same amount of food. So I ordered the lunch fajitas. Asked for no sour cream and extra guacamole. I am from Texas and we were visiting for work and looking for a good margarita.
Well the server was sweet and kind and quick but that’s about it. The food was real bland. I couldn’t tell the difference between the rice and beans because they tasted the same. The salsa didn’t have a flavor either. The beer margarita was an odd beer to margarita ratio, I had to get a second beer to put in the margarita. It was packed tho! Just was not my idea of a Tex mex restaurant.

It was a pleasant surprise to see Armani as our server. He has been our server several times at other restaurants. He is always so nice and great at what he does. Food is great as always. We will definitely be making more trips to Cactus now!

We had a great experience tonight with our two children. Our waitress, Makayla, was very sweet and attentive. My daughter must’ve picked up in her personality because at the end she had a whole conversation with her about her day, when her birthday is, and Makayla has no problem taking time out of her busy night working by to talk to my daughter 💕 makes this mama heart so happy! Of course the food is always great here, however Makayla was the star tonight!

The grilled chicken cactus bowl was fantastic and my husband loved the fish tacos, but the real star of the show is the cactus grits. Our server was good, if a little inattentive at times, but they were busy.

Visited this cantina on 6/20/24. The waitress was amazing the food was great but the host at the door when checking in was curly brown haired young man wearing glasses had a horrible attitude, seemed like a hated himself and life. A shame he tainted a nice establishment.

Great place for a friends and family meal. The service was wonderful and on point. From the entrance to the table me and my friends were treated professionally and respectfully. All our drinks and orders came on time and the food was delicious. I ordered the Texas fajitas and it was delicious and filling! I would recommend for a nice friends outing for lunch or dinner in Foley.

Been coming here for a while now, but today was very different. The normal crowd was gone, and the only regular face was that of JT the general manager. I have been there on numerous occasions and JT didn't even acknowledge my existence even though I was right in front of him. I can see why many if not all the regulars have jumped ship and gone on to other places. How difficult is it to just say hi, and acknowledge us?
Furthermore the quality of the food is less than par, Never has it been hot, luke warm at best. Hot must be too high a standard. Taco Bell has higher standards in both taste and quality. This was a great place but no more.

We ordered pickup through the DoorDash store front, I recommend calling them to confirm they received your order. We had to wait about 12 minutes for our food, once we arrived which wasn't as bad as expected. The food was good, hot and fresh so good we ate in the parking lot. However, the complimentary chips were stale, but they were free so can't complain much on that.

My server was Rain (that’s what the host said her name was). She’s wonderful
She was the bartender. And let me tell you I’ve never had a better experience. I went in there by myself and she was so attentive to me. Sparked conversation.
After the rough few weeks I’ve had, I really needed that. She had a smile that would light up a room and a BEAUTIFUL personality!
The food was amazing. It came out fast, she did a great job at spacing out the appetizer to meal.

We walked in and were seated right away (lunchtime on a weekend). I wish I had gotten the waitress' name because she was wonderful. We just left from the foley location. My son loves to eat here and picked it for his birthday dinner. I called ahead to let them know we had a party of ten. When we arrived we didn’t wait long for a table our server was very sweet and our food arrived quickly. I wish we had gotten the names of everyone but the staff was amazing. The two girls up front were so sweet. My son was trying to win a dog out of the claw machine and many dollars later we had no luck. They went and got another employee to help and he said I’m going to get him this dog. The entire staff was so amazing and so friendly and sweet to my little boy. He said he had the best birthday dinner ever. Thank you everyone who helped make his day so special!!

So, one star for alcohol.. or rather the lack of it in my double jack and coke and my wife’s margarita. Thought maybe we had been drinking too heavy at home or something, so got home and tested with my home breathalyzer.. 0.0. It’s too bad because we love their food.. But that was just fraud, or a bad joke. I even commented on the color that it must be strong. Guys, someone watered down the booze!!

Food was mid, cold, and chewy (carnitas burrito). I've never had to put salt on Mexican food before this place. We also got the queso (which was good) but inattentive wait staff left us with no chips to enjoy the queso, forcing me to go to the bar to beg for chips after 15 mins which chilled the queso. Given the dank, dark indoor atmosphere and food quality, I was surprised to drop an average of $20/person... Without alcohol. There are many, many other Mexican restaurants to try.

Glas was our waiter and let me just say it was spot on. No tea glasses got low. Brought mote chips and even knew we needed a to go box before we asked.

Moody employees. The restaurant was empty as we were being seated. The waitress sat us near the kitchen, and we kindly asked to be next to a window. She then loudly apologizes to a waiter in the back because we weren't going to be in their area anymore. We sit down, and the first thing our waitress tells us is to put my sister's water bottle in our car because there aren't any food and drinks allowed inside. We just stood up and left after all the nasty looks we were getting from every employee in the room, and one called us rude on the way out.

We came here on vacation this is the first time we have been here we r from Panama city f.l I have to say this is a wonderful restaurant some great food the best actually and if u have the pleasure of having Mrs RAIN as your server consider your self blessed she is amazing 👏 😋 such a bright bubbly Happy-go-lucky additude I tell ya she will most definitely make your night she is definitely the heart of this restaurant 😀 🙌 ❤️
