This is a pretty solid mexican restaurant. The service was great, and our food was delivered piping hot about 10 minutes after ordering. That said, prices seemed a bit high, but portion sizes were good.

The reason I gave 3 stars is because one of the workers sat on a stool, and it broke under her, and her coworkers had a great laugh. I know it's hard not to laugh when someone falls but these people walked away laughing, one of the more beefy guys walked away from her not offering to help but had a disgusted look on his face then went back over to check the other stools to make sure they wouldn't break. A manager walked away laughing. I didn't see the girl again and hope she was ok and not too embarrassed, especially by her coworkers.
After waiting a very, very long time our food came out, mine was cold. Our waitress saw me not eating, and when I told her why she insisted on fixing it, that's where the 3 stars come from. Our waitress was great!

OMG SO GOOD! We all LOVED our food! Service was excellent, drinks stayed filled, food was hot, fresh and good! Salsa reminds me of what Chi-Chi's used to have. We'll be back for sure and we will check out other locations anytime we see one! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Came in for a late lunch and it wasn’t busy. But it took a while for our food to come out. Our server took our order and didn’t write it down so my plate came out with the wrong side. So they went to replace it and about 15 minutes after they took my plate to fix it the server finally came to make an appearance and asked how everything was. Told him what happened and he went to go grab my plate with the correct side. So by the time my food came out everyone was pretty much done eating. But I have to say the chicken quesadilla is not worth the money. They give you a baby size amount of chicken in it and expect you to pay $15 for it with one side. And it would be nice if our server shown up once in a blue moon. He gave us the check and disappeared again so we eventually went up front to pay after 10minutes.

Great food quality and service. We sat on the patio since weather was great. There were a couple of smokers who thankfully left shortly after we were seated. We had 3 adults and 2 kids. I ordered the whole fish, which got a great reaction from the kids. Will go back.

El Paso is one of my go-to spots they have a very affordable lunch menu and my wife, who is very picky, has plenty of things she loves on the menu.

Update: went with some of my work friends just yesterday and they surprise me with a Christmas gift making the trip all that more special.

Years ago I knocked this place for being ho-hum, but since they took over the entire building years ago, the food and service got a lot better and now it's my preferred spot in Foley for a meal.

It's not on the menu but I love to get the Burrito Asada with both chicken and chorizo. I'm also a fan of the Nachos Locos, which have chicken, shrimp and steak.

Silver is my fav server at El Paso! She is very personable and fun. Actually, the entire crew is awesome. Great food and they have an innovative philosophy as far as margaritas: don’t water them down!! Lol. So they are tasty and strong for sure. Highly recommended. Pepe the manager is a great guy too .

The Best Place. Upon entering we were greeted with a warm welcome and taken to our table. Server was promptly right behind our hostess. Excellent service. Food was fresh, hot, magnifico'. Drinks were kept filled. Nothing needed asked for. We live here locally and definitely recommend if you are local or visiting. Portions are amazing and taste is love for your pallet. 5 stars.

The best Mexican food I've ever had! I ate a nachos that had shrimp, steak, and chicken. Absolutely fantastic! Others in our party had the enchiladas and chicken quesadillas. They also said it was the best they ever had. Highly recommend. We stayed near fort Morgan but this was worth the drive!

We have eaten at El Paso before and it is not authentic as we would like it to be, but comes close. The El Paso in Foley failed completely. The tortillas for my husband street tacos were hard he said they tasted like the came right out the package with out then even being warmed up, my flautas were so crispy I could not eat them. I open one just to eat chicken because I was hungry, I can tell the chicken was rubbery. My daughters beef taco shell was staled. The rice and beans seemed like it was sitting for a bit. I like quick service but our food came out in 5 minutes and I should have guessed the food was not as authentic as it claims to be. This definitely disappointed me. We will not return I rather stick to taco trucks where they take pride in serving authentic Mexican food.I didn’t fuss I paid our bill but I did let the waiter know that the food was unsatisfactory.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Got seated immediately, despite the full parking lot. The food was good, but it took a little while to get out. I saw the table next to us had horchata so I had to try some.

Didn’t want people sitting at the bar on Mother’s Day. Got served chips said hey to the usual wait staff we get. The new bartender was talking to her boyfriend for almost 10 minutes next to us trying to avoid eye contact. Finally gets to us and wants us to wait behind the giant groups of people. 2 people want to eat a quick lunch at a bar but no. I have to wait for 25 people to finish ration to get a ya me. This place just keeps going further and further downhill.

Dog friendly if they are on leash, and you are on the patio. Service was really good. The food is excellent, for what I had. They were out of fried ice cream, so we will have to go back.

UPDATE: Went in to eat yesterday... about 1/4 way thru the meal I found what looked like a price tag/ barcode in my food! Ummmm....DISCUSTING!
The server acted like it was no big deal.. wanted to know if I wanted it remade... ummm.. no... at that point I had lost my appetite and felt nauseated..
He took my meal off the ticket and acted like he did me a favor! Been eating here for years, but after this, I will never go back!

After we got our food our waitress disappeared. She never came back to check on us, bring us refills, bring us a box for leftovers, or even bring our bill. I had to hunt another wait staff down to get a box & our bill. We told the greeter about this on the way out. She said hesitantly that our waitress had to leave. They did not even attempt to have another wait staff cover our table. This is extremely poor service.

Best salsa by far! Food Quality is the best of any Mexican Restaurant we have eaten. Priced based on Food Quality.
Others places we have tried are either average prices with average food quality or so so quality with low prices.

Great food and service. Great managerial help with billing and gift card issues. However I am unpleased with 1 item. 2x I got their shrimp tacos. Menu says it comes with a house salad and choice of rice/soup. 1st time - no salad. Waitress said it was actually the taco garnish of shredded lettuce, cheese and pico de gallo. Manager said no. Its a SALAD. 2nd time I discuss this with my new server. He said the chefs consider the salad as the taco garnishing and not separate item. I insisted that I get the salad as well since in the menu. The salad I get is shredded lettuce, cheese, diced tomatoes and dressing. When tacos come, no garnishing so I had to ask for that. That was a poor excuse for a house salad and the chefs need to do whats on the menu.

It's pretty pathetic when you have one of your employees leave a review to try and counter what a recent 1 star review highlights... that being said. I was with the party of 50+ and was one of the many that left after being served water and never getting to put in an order for food. The wait staff was sub par at best, and they already had the attitude that they didn't care if our party was there or not.

All the waiters especially the bartenders (SHOUTOUT to Aurora and Belen). It’s always busy when we’re here and the staff handles themselves excellently. Even when they have big parties they always go out of their way to help the customer. I could never have a party of over 30+ but the way I saw Raul and the other older guy handle them, WOW!! I’ve been coming for 5 years, best place hands down.

Had a party of 50 tonight. Restaurant knew that we were coming months in advance after about 45 mins half of our party left to go eat somewhere else as no food orders were taken. When I asked to speak to the manager the waiter told me he was walking around the restaurant and it was my job to track him down. Safe to say I will steer clear of planning another event here and will also take my business elsewhere.

We went with a large group of people, called way in advance to let them know that there would be at least 18 of us & asked for the back room. The server obviously was very inexperienced in handling this many. He was friendly enough but we had to hunt him down to get us a drink & then again to take our food order, which was at least an hr after we arrived. We sent someone to get him to bring us our checks & he never did show up. We all had to go to the cashier & she hunted him down. He made an appearance at our table a total of 3 times in 2 hrs. That is not good customer service. They automatically attached a 20% tip, which I probably would not have left!

This restaurant is awesome, I didn't get to get any pictures ,but you will not be disappointed. My husband and I are from out of town celebrating our anniversary, first off the place is beautiful, the seating is VERY comfortable not the traditional hard wood seats your use to in a Mexican restaurant, the womens bathroom was nice, clean and spacious, the larger bathroom stall even had a sink in the inside of it and the sinks on the outside of the bathroom stall had those spa looking sinks just beautiful, they also have a nice big bar area!!!!!!

El Paso Mexican Grill is the latest Mexican Restaurant that I've patroned. Located next to Hobby Lobby on the South side. The food was pretty good, but the Service was Excellent. I felt like the drinks were expensive! Amedium Margarita was $15, big city drink prices in small town Foley is my only gripe. However, everything my people had there was good, and what you would expect from a nice Mexican restaurant. Super Clean, nice atmosphere, and the outside dining area is nice. The food prices are average, $15-$20 for entrees (+/-). Overall, I would give them a "5 Star Review", based on my experience, but the alcohol was a little high. Thats the only reason I hit with a 4, in my opinion. But with that being said, I like this place over some of their competitors, based on Service, Cleanliness, and Atmosphere. Overall, it's at the top of my favorite Mexican Restaurants, but I haven't been to all of them, so go and check them out and see for yourself.
