The only restaurant serving authentic Mexican food in the area. Traditional Mexican recipes, great taste.
Best Mexican food I’ve ever had in the states. Reminds me of the food I had in Mexico City so many years ago. I tried to try the sauces, but by the second one I nearly died. Seriously I love hot foods, but that shit nearly killed me. My date had the whole fried Tilapia and I had the spicy beef. I think there was a Mexican cook in the back laughing his butt off at the giant gringo begging for cucumbers from his wife’s plate to put out the mouth fires! Seriously, the best food ever. Will make this our regular date night.

It has been a long time since eating here. None of the people greeted me. None were cheerful
None talked to me. They spoke Spanish amongst themselves. There were 3 booths filled when I entered about 6 pm. I never saw any more customers come in to dine. Because I am pre-diabetic I drink only water. The waitress brought a pitcher of water and put it on the table with a straw besides the pitcher. I asked for a glass. They said they have no glasses. That everyone drinks from the pitcher. I said, "That is uncouth!!" "Where is the glass?" They said they have none. I asked for a cup. She brings a styerfoam cup the size of a giant mug and pours all the water from the pitcher into the giant cup. Then she finds a lid and places the lid on the cup. I insert my straw and drink water from this giant cup. They bring out my steak burrito which is supposed to have beans, rice, and avocado. Guess what!!? The beans, rice, and avocado is not on the plate but inside the steak burrito!! A huge burrito that made!! While eating a fly lands on my other half of the burrito. I pinch off the part the fly landed on and was disgusted at the thought of eating where the fly landed with its dirty feet!! I managed to eat both halves of the huge burrito. There were 4 hot sauces to select from and all were "muy cielente". That is "very hot".
When I was obviously finished and ready to leave no one brought the bill to the table, so, I said, "I guess I pay up there?" I proceeded to the counter with cash and the waitress handed the bill to the cashier who never greeted me, was talking with some man, said $13.19 to me, took my money, returned the change, and I do not recall her saying, "Thank you" or anything!! Even after I said. "Hope it does not rain." She said NOTHING!! The man repeated what I said, "Hope it does not rain." Not one of the waitresses spoke to me, greeted me, said thanks for coming, or have a nice night, come again!! This is the worse place ever!!! How can these people be in business? They must feed family and friends only!! They must want only Spanish speaking people to come to them. No gringos allowed!!

this a small hidden gem, sometimes they have to close early because food runs out, it’s that good. They have delicious agua frescas my favorite is the melon one. I ordered bistec a la diabla (steak in red hot sauce) and oooo it was spicy but it was delicious as was the rice and beans served along side it.

This is authentic Mexican food. It is not Tex-Mex. It isn't even Americanized cheap Mexican (they don't even have white queso dip). It is, however, really good authentic Mexican. Your meal starts with fresh chips and obviously homemade salsa. We had a burrito, a quesadilla, and a couple of tacos. Everyone loved their dish, and the burrito was big enough for leftovers. We'll be back when we're in the area again.

We loved it we have been in Alabama on vacation for an entire week and this is the only place that we have found with real authentic food. I got the mole and it was amazing and the tortillas were made by hand and everything we have was so filling. The portions when it comes to the aguas Frescas were huge. This place was total worth it. We will visit here every time we come here.

Tacos taste like tuna, the rice was hard, no flavor and dry. The beans were can beans. The sauces are not spicy and have no flavor. Natural flavor water are 3 to 3.99 and are super super sweet. The tortillas were little hard and cold. I pay 75 dollars but, will never come back in here again, with 200 dolares more I can go eat at a better quality restaurant

This is a very good and authentic Mexican restaurant. The options were numerous, the prices were fair and the portions were generous. For those other giving reviews on here about it being unlike other Mexican restaurants where you get American Mexican food that's not authentic or where everyone speaks English maybe this isn't the place for you. This isn't a chips and salsa kind of place. If you don't want good Mexican cuisine then go through the drive-thru at Taco Bell.
Mi Tierra is a really good spot.

If you've lived for any time at all in Mexico, you will recognize the feeling when you walk in here. You will then always come here. It may take a little while to establish yourself as a regular. But if you really miss the food you had in Tepotzotlán, Cuautitlán Izcalli, Cuautitlán de Romero Rubio and Texcoco, you will smile, use your grievous Spanglish as best you can and tip well. This is as authentic as you can get without a passport.

Ni modos no lo recomiendo siempre digo que la amabilidad lo cambia todo .

If you’re looking for a typical Tex-Mex restaurant with chips and salsa, this place is not for you. Mi Tierra serves delicious authentic Mexican food, most if not all of it homemade. Their barbacoa is excellent and served with hot freshly made corn tortillas. Unless they run out the chivo (lamb) tacos are a real treat. My husband loves the seafood caldo. They don’t skimp on the seafood, either. The people are friendly, the food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Don’t let the somewhat run down appearance fool you. Mi Tierra is everything an authentic Mexican restaurant should be. Real. Mexican. Delicious.

Unorganized waiters. Time of seating we wait minimum 10 minutes for our order to be taken. After this our drinks are still not brought until a few minutes before our food 👎🏻 At one occasion our order was lost we waited 40 minutes til asked by the owner what was our order. Also, others have arrived after us and their orders are taken before ours. If it wasn’t for this I would rate your restaurant 5 ⭐️! The food is delicious. Their tripa tacos by far have been the best I have ever tasted.

I am always on the hunt for a good authentic Mexican restaurant...however i almost always finding that I am doomed to be let down. UNTIL NOW. Don't let appearances fool you, it is not what is outside but what is inside that counts! The food. The chips were maybe a bit overdone but the salsa was house made and super fresh. 3 of us dined in. It will help if you speak a small amount of Spanish. We ordered tacos de Carne asada, enchiladas (half pollo and half carnitas) and a carnitas burrito....we were NOT let down. Dont expect style in their plating....just focus on the food. The tacos were authentic served with country onions and radishes....and they did not skimp. 3 tacos will fill you up!!!! The enchiladas come as 5 small enchiladas and may have been the best of group. The burrito was enormous and tasty fill with Spanish rice frsh avocado slices pico and a hefty portion of meat. We left full, happy and satisfied knowing I've finally found a good spot. Too bad there is not one like this in Pensacola. Sorry I didn't take pictures, was too busy stuffing my face 😀
