5/27/22: Another awesome lunch at El Patron 2 in Gadsden today! I had Chicken Fajita Nachos & husband had a Chicken Torta!! Food was so delicious, service was great and the decor is amazing!!

The food here was amazing.

Entering the restaurant I was greeted and seated promptly. I ordered the burrito texana which was a little bigger than I anticipated. The burrito was loaded and it took everything I had to eat it. Ok I didn’t finish it all, but I gave it my best effort and polished off about 90% of it.

The food was so full of flavor, the portions were big and the service was excellent. I would definitely come again when visiting the area.

Great food!!! Large menu with a lot of options to choose from. Dishes are served hot and fresh with ample portions. Drinks are generous. Service is always spectacular! Prices are good. We love coming here and will continue to dine here.

I walked in and stood for a minute. There were 2 employees too busy with the UFC fight to notice someone walked in. My server hovered above me. Literally asked if i was ready to order while taking a my drink order. There is no alcohol menu. So I ordered a margarita have to at a Mexican resturant if you don't know what else there is to order. The shrimp chimichangas were really good. The food came quickly. But the servers need to relax and let customers have time to look over the menu

after a long drive from birmingham we were hungry and decided to stop to grab food. the waiter we got was a male he had such a ugly attitude and his face in general shows he didn’t wanna be at work. my girlfriend asked for 2 plastic forks and he only brought back one so she asked if i can have one tell me why this man rolled his eyes at us!? Like WHAT!? when he took our order he had a attitude and when we finally got our food he didn’t come back to check on us or gave us refills we had to get up and ask at the counter. on top of that it was sooo freaking hot in there i couldn’t finish my food. the food was great but the service was trash.. never going back.

Honestly I really enjoyed their food. BUT they need to step up their game in customer service. I’m not complaining They have the food, they have the beautiful interior BUT they lack customer service.(This is NOT a complaint but when the young man up front talks to customers I can’t even hear him and he shows no happiness to be there and he’s the first impression customers get when they arrive there)

My advice is have people there that have a passion for their job, that actually like serving people and I’m sure your ratings and your business will go ⬆️ 🔝🔝

When you go to this one or even the OG restaurant, you better bring your appetite because you really get what you pay for! Great portions for the price. My husband and I enjoyed the quick service. Our food was out almost as soon as we ordered it, at least that's how it felt like! 😀 The food is great, I'm Mexican. I'll always say the food is great, haha 😄 It's for sure a safe and reliable choice when it comes to Mexican restaurants! Authentic Mexican cuisine!

I always do take-out from El Patron 2. The food is always hot and fresh. Love their food and always friendly towards me. The birria tacos are great! If you're not a spicy heat person beware of the dipping sauce. Ask for extra lime, it really highlights the meat.

One of THE BEST Mexican Restaurants in Gadsden. I went to lunch with coworkers and although they were hosting their lunch crowd and a big party, they were very accommodating to our table. I will say being the "different" one in the group, I was the only person to receive a chipped plate. I overlooked that due to the food being so good. There was enough to feed 2 people from the Veggie Fiesta Bowl that I had. Everything tasted fresh and was hot. I enjoyed the decorative atmosphere and plan to come back for another visit.

Above average Mexican food. Fiesta fajita bowl was excellent. Chicken chimichanga was very good. Tamale dinner was not so good, therefore I deducted one star. Overall experience was very good so we will most likely return again.
