Owners don't care about customers will not fix food if it's burnt undercooked or wrong...Went here and picked up some lunch but got my food and the shrimp on my plate was way overcooked there were pieces that had a lot of black on them they were very rubbery and chewy could not eat even half of it then when I tryd to get it fixed they said the needed the whole plate back with receipt... Really like some is gonna be missing I tryd to eat some but couldn't after a couple bites be careful they don't care about there customers at all.!

I come here for lunch and dinner. Fast, friendly customer service. Good food. Medium portions at lunch, large portions at dinner. Good prices. I've never had a problem here. Food has always tasted good. I recommend the cheese dip w/ jalapenos.

We generally order from here at least once a week, while also eating in pretty often, and everything is always so good. We eat here often enough that if I order over the phone and I forget something, the hostess will check and make sure I didn't want whatever it was that I forgot. The food is always very good, and the service is always fantastic.

GUYS, hear me out. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant on a lake before and that's what you are! Build the deck out past that back door and halfway cover it. It will be a costly project but to eat Mexican food on a deck over the lake would be incredible! Everything we ate was great and our server was very nice. Thank you!

This restaurant is hands down my favorite . And I travel through states as my JOB. currently working with some guys who grew up here and I’ve been told this was their go-to . Footballs nights , prom nights , that this is the best Mexican restaurant around . the grilled chicken is always perfectly cooked . Queso and salsa is delicious . My son's favorite mexican restaurant!! Had the most handsome (late) lunch date with my baby boy! He goes to eat there often & we always love it when we go! Once my mama & I were going to eat there & were going to be in a bit of a hurry, I called when we were on our way & asked could we put in our order, explaining the situation & they had the table ready & the food brought out to us right after we sat down! Now THAT is accommodating ur customers! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE & the food is always great! Love them!!

A little loud but beautiful view of the Coosa River. Food was great as usual. Had the Loco Tex, a combination of steak, chicken and shrimp over rice with cheese sauce. Very good.

Our waiter was very gracious, and very soft spoken. Sometimes a little difficult to hear over the party that was going on in the back of the room.
I had the Loco Tex, and it delicious! Best rice I've had!The meats were all super flavorful and tender!

Highly recommend! You won't regret it! You may need a box to go, though! 😀

Gorgeous view overlooks the lake. Some of the best food I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant! The chili poblano’s were exceptional! Not very breaded, And not oily, which is rare to find! My husband and I, 2 sons and daughters-in-law and 5 grandkids We’re so glad we decided to try this place out. Incredibly friendly workers, gave the grandkids, special attention, they had a nice bar in the atmosphere is really pretty. Very clean bathrooms!!!

We really enjoyed our meal. The chips and salsa are the best of any we've tried. We had chalupas and rice; both of these dishes were perfectly seasoned, hot, and delicious. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere was clean and colorful. We were seated with a lovely view of the mighty Coosa River. All in all, a good experience and we will definitely return!

To high price for the food you get. We will not go back. We do not recommend the Gadsden Alabama location that is on Rainbow Drive. There are too many other Mexican restaurants to go to. Food was nasty, and for 7 people, our check was outrageous.

Horrible service. Took 4 trips to just get the things to the table needed to eat a proper meal. An example, napkins were asked for 3 times and weren't brought until the 4th trip. Waitress was very unpleasant. By the time I got to eat my food, it was cold. Usually get good, enjoyable service in the past. Plus then she brought us the wrong ticket that was about $30 more than our ticket.

The food was cold and didn’t have any flavor at all!! The manager said they haven’t had any complaints that day so she refused to give us a refund! I only took three bites from the meal and with the refusal of refund I feel like I been robbed!! 10/10 don’t recommend!!!!!

We been there 2x, both times they forget half our order. Tonight my husband received his meal, 20 mins later mine. Waiter left, then about 10 mins go by, waiter realized, They forgot to bring our child his order. Waited another 18 mins and our child got his meal to go and eat in the car on the way home. No Refills on drinks

Had steak reorder medium well, both times was very well done

First visit, order fried ice cream. Never received. Got check went to pay. I told them the dessert I paid for was the tip.

Very good food for a good price...came out quickly everyone was friendly...eveything is well seasoned and the large cheese dip is HUGE....I appreciate that the owner is friendly an makes contact with his patrons and the prices are not outrageous. This location is different from the number 2 location I will come back here especially at lunch time they also have daily specials! The chips are also always warm and they serve every guest a individual salsa.

The atmosphere is perfect there! Its an inside dining but when you sit besides the windows, it feels like if you were sitting outside, the view of the water is calming and so so enjoyable. The food and service is outstanding, I certainly recommend this restaurant.

As always, the food was excellent and the service superb. We had family visiting from New Mexico and we always fit in some El Tap. This time we were celebrating a birthday and they were extra accommodating by holding cakes for us and celebrating our birthday girl with us. It’s always a great day to go enjoy El Tap.

We have ate here numerous times! Our favorite Mexican place in gadsden. We mostly get it to go cause we're home bodies. But orders always correct, foods always hot, ready quickly, and reasonably priced! Perfectly seasoned and when u order extra cheese they actually give it to you!! Keep up the great work!!

The service was okay, waiter was friendly. The atmosphere was just okay; being beside the water was the only positive. The food was awful, SO bland! I ordered a chicken fajita taco, which had no grilled onions or peppers; only chicken w/lots of lettuce, shredded cheese and a small amount of pico. I could not finish eating it for fear of gagging. I will not return.

First time so what I ordered might of been it. Little taste of dales meranaid on steak and I just don't like the stuff at all. I'd like some background music to muffle the over all cafeteria sound of the conversations. Waiter was great and we tipped to hand going out door and his character and humor was one that had us kayaking all the way to the cat. Appreciation and gratitude. Nice dinner over all.

Top notch service! They had to accommodate a birthday party (of around 40-50 people) for my nephew literally last minute due to a reservation at another restaurant falling through, and the El Tapatio II crew made it happen. They were so kind to all of us and clearly had a busy night!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in or near Gadsden. The food is great, that staff is attentive and kind, and the view of the water while you eat is the cherry on top. They also have a small pitcher of margaritas available that I love to get for an afternoon with a friend. Just enough but not too much. 😘

This wa the best Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten in my life . We were here for a soccer game and a lady at the academy suggested it . When we pull up we were looking at it very sketchy. As soon as we walked in the customer service was A1. The thing that made this place different was the quality of the food. Not sure if everything was made from scratch but it was the 1st time we ate our entire meal and didn't feel stuffed. Also the gave big servings. When we lefted the waiter let my wife try some horchata in which she said was amazing. This place can always get my service!!!!

This is as good as it gets. We were introduced to this place by friends. Mexican food is not my first choice but I was not disappointed. We sat with a waters edge view. The lights were dim but not so much so that reading the menu was possible without using the flashlight on my phone. A plus service is what you can expect. Tell them ole Greg sent you. When they ask who is ole Greg, be honest and say ”i don't know ”. Enjoy.

We came in the door and the guy ,owner?, said be right with you. Another lady came by about 5 minutes later said same thing. Another 5 minutes goes by more people came out more food was taken from kitchen. Must have been a day when no one wanted to show up for work. Better luck next time
