We came in pretty late! Still treated perfect and the food was great! Definitely would come back! We got the street tacos! Paloma was our waitress.

Stopped here on our way through town and found this great place. Must say the atmosphere was quaint and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and well portioned. The margarita here were amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Piss poor Service, especially if you sit at the bar.
Bar tender is always gone and there are 9 literally 9 servers sitting around twisting their hair.
Service is absolutely the worst I have ever seen.
I ordered Chicken and Shrimp fajitas and there was only “Two “ Yes I said Two Shrimp on the plate.
This place has gone to the Dogs!!!!!
Never Again.
To top it off, I asked for the Manager after I received my food. The Waitress then brings me a Menu With a Plate Full of Food Setting in Front of Me.

Dining at Old Mexico was a fantastic experience, thanks to our server, Jessie. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and impressive knowledge of the menu. He’s recommendations were spot-on, and the enchiladas I ordered were some of the best I've ever tasted. Jessie checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed and. The DW and I came here for a Friday dinner. Sat at the bar. Service was prompt and friendly. Started with cold amber dos Equis grande wasn’t really that grande. But they were cold and good. Chips and salsa was ok but seemed like canned salsa. DW’s taco salad was good and had lots of chicken. The carnitas were good as well. The pork chunks were not trimmed very well with hunks ok fat but overall good. Decent sides as well.

Nasty! The burrito bowl was horrible! The chicken tasted spoiled, and the rice was mushy. Chips were super hard and I was scared I was going to lose a tooth. I used to love this place but NO MORE.

Food was a 4 on 5. Service was a 3 on 5. But the margaritas were a negative 3 on 5 - poorly flavored, extremely light on the booze, and $18 for what is basically frozen cool-aid.

If it were for the rip-off of a drink this place would be okay. But I honestly feel robbed by the margarita experience. Never again.

This place used to be good not sure what has happened ordered guacamole and cheese dip never got them they took it off my order though the fajitas I ordered was the absolute worst I've ever had like they have been in a crock pot all day then possibly microwaved not sizzling or blacked like a fajita is supposed to be it tasted like soup without all the liquid

The food, I had steak fajitas with tortillas, and it came with the typical salsa and chips, was less than exciting… bland. I ordered a traditional margarita on the rocks and it was quite decisively the worst I’d ever tasted… and I’ve tasted many in my time. The server, Kaitlyn, was very efficient and attentive… good job!

Ordered birria tacos just to be very DISAPPOINTED! They were nowhere close to being birria and I was so mad at the beef and queso cheese I got in a soggy tortilla that i could not even finish eating. I paid $17 for 3 tacos and didn’t even get the rice that was suppose to come with it. I will proudly continue to drive to Albertville to get real birria tacos.

My visit to Old Mexico was a whole-hearted visit with family, although it was quickly ruined as the poor customer service made the dining experience horrible. The staff needs to take better strides to have better customer service, until then, I will not be returning.

Ordered cheese dip and didn’t get it so I told her to just take it off the ticket because it was almost time for our food to arrive before she came back to the table to ask. We ordered it from the person who brought chips and salsa and again from our waitress. Waitress wasn’t familiar with menu items and sent steak instead of chicken when I clearly said chicken. My husband ordered steak and had to tell her how he wanted it cooked because she never asked. Didn’t come to the table much to check on us and when we left we saw her and about 4 other waitresses standing at the door talking. We needed ranch for wings, napkins, refills, more salsa and I had to ask…..when she came back forgot the napkins so I had to tell her to go get them. Too in a hurry to get back to socializing. They need to check on the customers instead of socializing. I am usually a good tipper but I just could not do it because it was so bad. I honestly should have left zero but I did a minimal amount. The food was terrible. My son’s wings were raw and the rice was dry.
We will NOT be back! Wasted $45!

On 1 positive note the salsa was good and my soda was good but that was about it!

Excellent food. The California burrito with steak is huge. I've had several menu items all were good. Nice clean restaurant with good service. Great atmosphere to.

I'm only rating 3 stars bc I was only there briefly for margaritas & an appetizer The experience was good The atmosphere was relaxing The Plato Jalisco was awesome & the margaritas hit the spot A strawberry 🍓 & peach 🍑 mix was just what I needed I would go back if I'm ever in the area

Second time here. We stop occasionally as we travel through the area. We enjoy the food and service. We will stop again...
