Absolutely delicious! I’ve wanted to try birria for a long time and never knew where to get good ones from and a couple friends suggested this food truck and I always drove past it but never stopped. I finally did today and was very impressed. It’s not only good but affordable too. I highly recommend calling your order in bc I was a walk up and there were probably 5 people ahead of me waiting on orders so just be aware of that if you want to order in person. But the wait still isn’t too bad. I’ll definitely be back to try the shrimp and fish tacos soon! 😋

I eat here twice a week. I almost always get the salmon burrito and add pineapple. it's so good! I've had their nachos a couple times too. they've never missed and the prices are definitely fair. maybe my favorite eats in Gardendale, and definitely better than anything in Fultondale

Best taco truck you will ever eat. These guys know how to do it! We have had brisket tacos, asada tacos, pescado (blackened fish), carnitas, vegan tacos, chicken burritos, quesadillas, and queso dip. Everything, and I do mean every single thing we have eaten has been 5 star. These guys never disappoint!

This Taco Truck always has people around it and we’ve been wanting to try it for a while. …so we did. 5 nice sized steak tacos and 3 waters set us back $19.50. They tossed in a couple of salsas for free after we forgot to order them. Everyone enjoyed their tacos and the staff were very friendly. We’re definitely coming back for more soon.

The “vegan” tacos were absolutely incredible! Generously filled, excellent flavor and double tortillas. The mozzarella doesn’t seem vegan, though, so you may want to leave it off if you’re fully vegan. There are no tables or chairs. A place to sit would have been nice. But, the food was absolutely worth it and reasonably priced!!

Wife and I stopped by for our first visit today and it was well worth it! I had the birria tacos and my wife had tacos ( 1 birria, 1 steak and 1 el pastor) we also had the chips and salsa and I ended with a caramel churro. All excellent and priced fair. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop by. We'll be visiting again.

Amazing place and Amazing food. Love the tortas and the caramel filled churros. Wish they had a full restaurant, but it is just a good truck. It can be a little bit of a wait in weekends, but well worth it.

I need to start remembering to take a picture of the food before I eat it, lol. If you want real, authentic Mexican food without going to Mexico, this is your truck! Even during their busiest hours, the service is always quick and fresh. My order combination is the Birria Tacos, a Esquite, and a Pinapple Jarrito. I also get their Sopes (if you love cheese like me, you won't be disappointed 😉!). I come so often, we are basically family now 😂.

They have the best tacos around. They have the creamy salsa Verde, and their tacos are not just run of the mill basic tacos. They have Mexican slaw on the chicken tacos, grilled pineapple on the pork tacos, I havnt tried much else, but a friend of mine ordered a quesadilla and it was HUGE. Also their queso is so thick and creamy, not runny like alot of sit down places.

If you’re looking for an authentic & tasty taco truck look no further!! My first time at this location I got a chicken burrito, chocolate churro & something I can’t pronounce all were delicious 😋 food was made fast about 10min or less while waiting on my food a huge van blocked my view of the truck the guy at the window even brought my food to my car when it was ready

**Pro tip: read the menu before you go lol I didn’t know the menu was in Spanish I couldn’t understand/pronounce some words but the guy at the window was patient & helped me out.

Taco truck. Exactly as I expect. Well mostly. They try to throw in a gourmet flair with garnishment. Even though it adds nothing to the food it does make the prices a little better to swallow. Wow, thought the whole point of a taco truck was to save $$

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had since actually going to Mexico! The burrito was massive and well worth the $10 spent on it, and the churros, quesadilla and the tacos were phenomenal! I definitely know where to go when I’ve got a craving for Mexican food and will be swinging by more often!

One of the Best, if not the best place to get Tacos! The grilled onions on the side with the sauce complement, balance and just bring the meal to a whole nother level. The aroma the food expels in the truck is so mouth watering, I can never make it back to the house to eat them I always pull over and have to eat right then. I've been eating at taco trucks about four to five times a week, for about four years now.
I can say without a doubt Hernando's Al Pastor taco's are the best I've ever eaten. They're served with grilled pineapple on them and grilled scallions are included with your order. I definitely plan on being a regular.
