Mi Casita Mexican Restaurant

Beautiful, fairly new restaurant. Very spacious, plenty of pleasant and attentive staff.
The chicken nachos are the best I have ever had. I chose the shredded chicken. It was very moist and flavorful and lots of it. The small is a very generous portion of your order it as your meal.
Tried the Steak fajita nachos, they were very good also.
The manager circulated the restaurant during our entire meal, once bring a basket of candy to hand out when we had finished eating. An unexpected touch of hospitality.
There are a lot of Mexican restaurants out there , this one does stand out and we will be back.

Fast service and good food! I got the poblano peppers and they were good but a little bit soggy. We also go the shrimp with rice and cheese. It was delicious and the shrimp were very well cooked! At the end, the manager came out and gave us our pick of mini candy- so sweet!

Celebrated a birthday with family and friends here. Plenty of room for a large group. The service was friendly and efficient. One of the staff was quite funny as well. My dinner was delicious, forgot the name of it but heavily meat-based, shrimp, steak, sausage. Very good. Would recommend.

Mi Casita has an amazing family friendly atmosphere. The food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner, was hot & tasted amazing. If I'm ever in the area again I'm definitely going to stop by here again. Definitely recommend.

Favorite Mexican restaurant EVER!
Favorite dish is Loco rice with steak (I added their delicious salsa & pineapple) their cheese dip is delicious! The owner, Mr. Greg, is amazing! He's wonderful with the customers. Part of the experience is meeting him

Amazing Service with the friendliest owners/employees who go above and beyond for customer service, brand new gorgeous facility that rates a look see from some of the travel dining critics with the food networks. Definitely a place not to miss if driving through Glencoe Alabama on US Hwy 431. Greg will be there to greet you with a smile:) My go to place for take home also!

28FEB23 ~ Well, I had hoped that things were better since our last meal there. Sadly, they have not improved. The construction in the parking lot was completed but nothing else was better. The interior was almost dingy. The chairs were old, hard, worn, and uncomfortable. The tables were also old & worn. The service was marginally okay. My meal was not tasty at all. Again, this is near the bottom end of the Mexican restaurants I have eaten at previously and prices have increased.

08JAN22 ~ Nothing was 'Bad' but nothing was exceptional either. Our experience was average all the way around. The exterior/parking lot was like a construction zone with trash, etc., all around. The inside was okay but the tables & chairs were uncomfortable, worn, and dated. The service was okay but not like they wanted you to enjoy the entire dining experience. They did their jobs but not like they enjoyed being there. The food was adequate but nearer the bottom end of the Mexican food restaurants where I have dined. The cost, though not expensive, was not justified by the poor ambiance, service, and food quality.

I came here last night and watched the owner bother every girl in the restaurant. He took a girl who was 13 years old, grabbed her by the hand as she kapy telling him "NO PLEASE STOP". He didn't stop and twisted her wrist. The food was cold. The guy who owns this place is lucky to be alive today.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the atmosphere is bland at best. The genre of Hispanic music they play is blah at best and so is the feel of the place.

The food was not that good at all, but the prices were outrageous! My brother didn't get his order like he wanted and the waitress called him special. She also did not bring us any salsa and only two bowls. My rice was cold, and I had a bug in my drink.

Stopped by for lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. Lunch portions were good sized and a good value. I would’ve liked more cilantro and cumin in my dishes, which is a personal preference. The salsa, especially, could’ve used more cilantro and onion.

Tried this restaurant 3x in a span of 4years...1st time..by way of a neighbor...Flaming cheese entree....2nd time ..Loaded Nachos and the entree with Steak,chicken,shrimp,cactus and rice,beans, and tortillas...3rd time Fajitas Mexicano and and loaded nachos. Very good!

I ordered a quesadilla I got one tortilla folded in half with melted nacho cheese and meat only. It was the worst quesadilla I've ever had. For $11 I got ripped off hard. Then I got yelled at for taking more than one piece of candy as I walked out the door. This place sucks

We usually eat here at least once a week.
Good food, especially love their warm chips, salsa and cheese dip. Top shelf margarita is really good. Tried the chicken soup today. Delicious on a cold Sunday afternoon! Lots of shredded chicken, hot broth, and topped off with fresh avocado and pico de galllo. Very large serving. Friendly, efficient staff, bright, clean upbeat atmosphere and Greg (owner) is the best! Greg welcomes everyone as if you were his only customer. Head on over to Mi Casita in Glencoe when you are craving Mexican food.

Great Mexican cuisine with a large variety of dishes that come in large portions for a decent price. I personally recommend a chicken flaming cheese with grilled vegetables.

Restaurant is neat and clean. Service is quick and efficient, from the moment you are seated, brought chips, and served. The salsa is a bit bland, though their homemade spicy salsa is some of the best I've had. The seasoning on the food is average and nothing to write home about. Overall it's a 4/5 stars and much of what you get at every other Tex-Mex restaurant in the county.

I love the atmosphere here. The restaurant is always clean and so are the restrooms. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The staff is always friendly and Greg the owner goes above and beyond to make sure his guests feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend this place to others and have already recommended this place to family.

Love this place! Party of 5 after church lunch. Very busy. Manager was really hustling, even setting up additional tables. They were not too busy to bring out a Sombrero hat, stop and sing Happy Birthday in both Spanish & English to 3 separate guests to make their celebration special. Food was excellent, bountiful helpings, and reasonable priced.

Pretty darn good. The food is consistently great, and in my years of coming here, they have never messed up an order even once. It's a little pricey but for a locally owned restaurant it's actually priced exceptionally well. Also, Greg is a funny guy. I will recommend this place forever
