Phenomenal. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. I had the arroz con pollo. Very well seasoned, delicious sauce, tender chicken, well cooked rice. Staff was awesome and friendly. The restaurant itself has so much character and we enjoyed looking at all the beautifully set up decorations. Keep it up!

After a little over a year of living in the area, this is the only restaurant my family can always agree on when we decide to go out to eat. The staff is fantastic and the food is AMAZING!

In my opinion this is the best Mexican restaurant within a 1hr drive minimum! They have a great atmosphere, great food, and a super friendly staff! Juan "David" (lol) was a great waiter! I highly recommend stopping in!

As I saw in the comments, they are more racist with a Hispanic people. The manager comes to my table to tell me to lower the volume of my cell phone, when they have the volume of the music very high, the scandals of the children, a very noisy waiter. I look around and there was no one. The closest people were about 6 tables away from where I was. The only person who was upset was the manager because how much noise can a cell phone make? In all that noise together. Owner, remember that Hispanic people are the main consumers and with people like the manager, it makes us want to not come back.

In my opinion this is the fine dining of Mexican food. I've lived in the area for a year and never came here and I'm so upset that I waited so long. The service is fantastic. The food was amazing and the presentation of the plates was pretty impressive. Most importantly, they weren't playing any annoying music. They had a very soft Melody playing. The only disappointment I have is that I waited so long to try this place.

El Camino Real from the outside doesn't look like much. However when you walk in it is beautiful. I love color and looking around at the atmosphere simply makes you happy and smile. The food was tasty and the staff was so friendly. My only complaint is that I don't live closer.

My family went to lunch here today 4-20-2024. My husband had a dish with beef, my oldest child had a cheese quesadilla, and my youngest had chicken.. they all returned home at 3 and my youngest that had the chicken has been puking none stop since 4pm. It is now 9:30 & she is still puking. I of course messaged the restaurants Facebook page and they read my message but did not respond. HENCE THIS REVIEW. Learn how to cook chicken and how to be food safe or leave this industry. There’s no excuse for getting people sick. I told them not to go to this restaurant before they left, that there were better options in town, but someone else chose the restaurant. Never AGAIN will you have the chance of our business. & I appreciate the acknowledgement & reply that you just couldn’t muster up.

The food is always great especially the salsa ( honestly it’s almost good enough to pour into a glass and drink ! ) the service is good but some nights it’s a little off , no utensils .. had to wait for someone to come around ) prices very reasonable fir amount of food served.

Was our #1 go-to restaurant for yrs, but past couple times we've had issues with our order. While Dining in they wld fix any mistake or issue no problem, but takeout orders has been a different story. We weren't asking for food replacement or money back either time bc we were already at home. Just thought they shld be notified of the issues since there were so many mishaps with the order in case the cook was new he cld be shown the proper way or if it was an ongoing issue it cld be addressed. I had to explain the problem to several different people, which was very aggravating bc I plainly asked when 1st answered if I CLD speak to a manager or someone regarding a problem with takeout, plus being put on hold for minutes at a time in between ppl causing what shld of been a 5 min Convo turning into 20-30 min convos..

We’re locals and have been going to El Cam for many years! 20+ at least. My Friend Scott called to get a “reservation” even though they don’t take reservations basically just to let them know he would have a party of about 20 for his wife Tiffany’s birthday. He specified that we all wanted Juan as our server. We get there and the owners tell us they don’t take reservations and Juan will not be our server. They were extremely rude to us. We went next door to Crawmamma’s and had an awesome time. I hate to tell El Camino, but you have 7 families that have supported you for decades that will NOT BE BACK!!!

This Mexican restaurant is the real deal. Chips and delicious salsa at first seating. Menu options are plentiful. Great vegetarian options. The veggie fajitas are made with real veggies...not just pepper and onions. Meat based offering delicious and plentiful also.

I foolishly took my credit card out and left my wallet on the table. The young lady came running across the parking lot as I reached my car. She handed me the wallet. My $100-bill mad money was still in the cash compartment. Delicious food, too. Fan for life.

Service was wonderful. There was about a 20 minute wait on a Friday night, which seems to be a common thing in town. After reading reviews was very excited to try and thought it was just ok. They rice served with the fajitas reminded me more of what I would get from a Chinese place than a Mexican restaurant and the short rib that was with the el camino real fajitas was very tough. The choriqueso dip was good but wasn't totally melted when it arrived to us. Everything just lacked flavor as a whole. The salsa and chips were very good. They also kept bringing our food to the table next to us and then once they told them it wasn’t theirs it would come to us. They were very nice people though and could see how the service can get them a higher rating. The decor and ambiance of the building on the inside was very nice as well.

We asked for 1 red snapper that looked more like mojarra and they didn't give it for $ 22, apart we asked for 2 orders of chicken nuggets and it was so greasy that the children couldn't eat it in this the waiter told us that they would discount it and only 1 because 1 of the Dishes every nugget had been bitten the prices have gone up and we understand that but for the very fact that it is more expensive your food should be much better than it was. That was our last visit to this restaurant. Thanks to our waiter who was very kind he has 1 star because if it were for the food they would not be able to get anything.

Pedimos 1 huachinango que más bien parecia mojarra y no la dieron en 22 dólares, aparte pedimos 2 órdenes de chicken nuggets y estaba tan grasoso que no lo pudieron comer los niños en esto el mesero nos dijo que lo descontarían y solo 1 porque 1 de los platos cada nugget había Sido mordido los precios han subido y entendemos eso pero por el mismo hecho que es más caro su comida debería se mucho mejor de lo que era. Esa fue nuestra ultima visita a este restaurant. Gracias a nuestro mesero que fue muy amable tiene 1 estrella porque si fuera por la comida no podrían obtener nada.
