Tried the $5.95 lunch special: 3 tacos w/beans & rice. Chips & salsa also served. Really good iced tea. Spotless clean dining area and restroom. Will definitely be going back.

Would eat here again, that’s how you tell it’s a good place. Street tacos and charro beans (best charro beans ever) were delish , salsa, not so much.

It took me a while to try this restaurant. I had heard it was decent. Sadly I had a disappointing experience. The rice and beans were cooked poorly and somewhat flavorless, the beef was barely seasoned. I barely ate half of my meal and my companions did not eat theirs either. The kids meals were decent (cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets with fries).

I picked up some take out from here today, and the food blew me away. It was beyond all expectations! I will be frequenting them every weekend! The pastor Taco was seriously the best I've ever had. Their hot sauce is delicious, but they were right to warn me, it's HOT! Loved all the food. I will try more of the menu next time.

*Edit* I have returned many times, and Tula Taqueria delivered every, single time! Such a wonderful place!

First Mexican restaurant I've ever been that had no Spanish music playing. Food was authentic but the flavor was weak and lastly the atmosphere was boring and they offered no alcoholic drinks

O.m.g. My mind AND taste buds are blown. This is best meal I’ve had in so long. I’m literally amazed. I don’t like to cook much, but I don’t necessarily like takeout, because restaurants are never very good. But I will definitely be back here and I will recommend this place to everyone!
I wish I would have gotten a picture before I dug in.

Food was pre ordered before we arrived. It was at the table in just a couple of minutes fresh hot and wonderful as usual. Staff is great. Tv in the corner to keep kids busy. I love this place

We eat here at least once every week or two. So so good. No bad pieces of chicken. No wrong orders. Never looks or tastes like it’s been sitting under a light for way to long. Always the same, great quality. I love the chicken and rice with cheese sauce and I add onions and bell peppers.

Great homemade corn and flour tortillas. Authentic Mexican food that was delicious! Went after a tball game..close to closing but they were happy to serve us and we will be back :)

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! I eat here all the time and the kids n wife love it too!! It's by far the BEST authentic Mexican food for a awesome price that I've found in Cullman. (My opinion) My favorite go to is the steak tacos. (If you love street tacos like from a taco truck then this is the place for you, trust me)

I made a google account to leave this review, staff were super nice, food was top tier. Relativity cheap, loved the environment. Only thing they need is a tv to show some futbol on. Other than that, I loved it!

Definitely give this place a try! I found it just riding around today and figured I'd stop in and give it a try. That's the best food I've had! The sign says homemade and I believe it. Love the fact they serve horchata also cause it's only the 2nd place I've found it around Cullman. Cheese dip, salsa, nachos are amazing. It's now my #1 Mexican food place around Cullman! I will be back for sure. Also very friendly staff and clean dining area. Very pleased!

Wow, I had no idea what I was missing until a friend took me there for dinner. Very delicious authentic Mexican food. Hearty portions, large menu, all at a reasonable price. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Hanceville's best kept secret.

1st time trying.We went cause they had their tamale special which you suppose to order ahead.I got notice day of the tamales made .Was suppose to order in advance Thank you Lird that had 2 dozen pork tamales left over,I grab them.They were the best we had out here.We from Chicago and know our Mexican,my guy order steak burrito and it was great too.We found our new rest.in town!

I stopped in for the first time today and ordered the crunchy tacos with rice and beans to go. They prepared my order quickly and packaged it well. Everything tasted very fresh and I really enjoyed it! I will be back!

The crunchy tacos were amazing. Overall food was great. The reason I gave a 3 star rating is because they allowed another patron to bring in a lamb w/ animal carrier that was placed next to their table and near other customers while they were trying to eat. I think this is unprofessional and unfortunately, I will not be eating here again.

It’s one of my favorite places in downtown Hanceville to grab lunch. I especially enjoy going there on Saturday afternoons. :) I never had Pozole prior to them coming into town but it’s honestly amazing and perfect for a chilly day.
