Awesome food. Had the street chicken burrito. Will be back to try more dishes. The salsa was “VERY GOOD “. My server was very polite and friendly. Worth your stop to eat for sure

So I have been back several times now. I’ll keep adding dishes I’ve tried. So far they have been top shelf for food and service.

One of my favorite restaurants! However I had to take one star away because the new server/cashier's attitude is terrible. I usually am greeted and serviced with so much positivity. I made a point to ask where the other young lady was because she was so nice and pleasant. I understand things happen, but if I encounter that attitude again I'll never come back, it was that bad.

Stop right now and get some really good Mexican food! You need to try this if you’re looking for the real deal. The staff was really friendly and the service was fast. They had so many options to choose from. I’ll be back here for sure. I can’t wait to try some other foods. I had a shrimp quesadilla but I devoured it before I could get pictures. They also have light and crispy tortilla chips like I like. Not the hard ones. And the pricing is really good. They haven’t gouged up their prices like a lot of other restaurants. Ask for Rene if you want really good service.

Very poor service and the food is horrible! Do not eat here!! They won’t give your money back or accommodate you if the food isn’t to your standard! They treated me horribly when I simply asked to get a Juice instead of my money back! The cashier said I would have to pay extra! Pay extra for something I’ve already paid for and only wanted to exchange???? Poor service! Poor attitudes! Nasty food !

This has been my absolute favorite Mexican style restaurant for over a year. I’ve been here more times than I can count and have ALWAYS enjoyed my experience. But today on Cinco de Mayo was the absolute worst. I brought in two friends who had never been to have dinner and drinks with me. We were ignored for a short time before we got seen, but I just assumed it was because it was so busy. First, it was food and crumbs and debris everywhere. The floors were slippery and nasty, and one of my friends almost slipped. We ordered drinks and a margarita was brought to a friend that was not frozen or the right flavor as she asked for. They fixed it. We got our food and still tried to enjoy our time. I ordered the chorizo cheese dip, which is a favorite of mine. I didn’t eat it all so I asked for a to go container. We still had food and our purses at the table as we went to go pay. I came back to my table and they had thrown away several of our items, including my cheese dip. Even at this point I was still understanding. They only offered to give me half of the cost of the dip back stating I had eaten most of it. Of course I did bc it’s my favorite dip there and I was planning on taking it before they threw it away! I took the half discount and went and paid my bill. I asked for a cream cheese popsicle on my way out. The guy who gave it to me obviously didn’t know what he was doing bc I took one small bite and realized that it wasn’t what I asked for. They got one of the managers and she told me that I had to buy another since I took a small bite. What? I asked for the correct thing and they gave me the wrong popsicle, and still insisted I pay for the right thing. I said forget it. After a while, the male owner came over and told us to keep it down, and that even though we were customers we still needed to pipe down. Never once saw him tell a screaming child that was crying and hollering that she needed to be quiet and pipe down. We weren’t even loud. SMH. I have been there numerous amounts of times. I have never had a bad experience, but this was the worst. I’m not sure if or when I will be back, bc this has certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.

Food: The food is a 3 out of 4; it's very overrated.

Atmosphere: The women waitresses are nice; the owner rushes you to order and charges over the little items.

They provide you small cups for your salsa but charge for a "top." Come on now and the manager has a problem giving "military" discounts when you show your ID.

He's asking "who gave you one before" and I pointed at the female and she agreed. Now he has an issue saying "no discounts, I'll just take the tax off this time."

I won't be returning unless I'm Dashing because he is very unwelcoming and acts as a cheapskate.

Waited in line for a while, all while standing in front of at least 4 staff members who failed to acknowledge me or even provide me with a menu or simple greeting. 1 of the girls just kept looking at me with a smirk. As I was walking out they all began to converse and laugh and I'm still trying to figure out what was funny about a customer being nice and trying to place an order. Never going here again!!!

Located in a shopping plaza, business is in a good spot. Entrance into the restaurant was clean and free of any debris. They do have an outdoor patio that is cozy and gives you a little view of the main street.
We were greeted immediately and informed you to choose your own table. The restaurant was very pristine, floors clean, and Health dept. Rating was 99, and it might as well be 100.
Our wait person was so helpful and friendly. Menu offers many selections. But what got my attention was the dessert display counter that held many authentic Mexican desserts. It honestly made my mouth water...lol. Plus, authentic chips are US company brands but are packaged differently in Mexico.
The food was great, and the music made me forget how tired I was after hitting retail stores.
All in all, it was a great experience and excellent service.
Note: I did not check out the restroom this trip, so I can't report on that. But I'm hoping it was as clean as everything else.

I've been patronizing this restaurant heavily for the past 6 months The food as well as the service has always been great. But the past couple of weeks service has sucked.
My order has been screwed up twice within the past 3 weeks. The first time my order was incorrect I called back to the restaurant to tell the owner. He remembered me and told me the next time that I come he would make my order right no charge. Well a couple weeks later my order was wrong again this time I called I spoke with the owners daughter. She was very sweet just as she always is when I'm there...but anyways I told her my order was not correct. She said the next time that I am there she would make sure my order would be taken care of and I told her to be sure to tell her father. Well I went in today to have my ordered corrected. I spoke with thre owner and he said that his daughter had told him about the order screw up.When I told him that I wanted my order fixed according to what I had originally paid for He became short and called his daughter on the phone to verify what I had originally ordered. He then said that he would correct it this time but that would be the last time. As if I was the reason for their error. Very bad business handling. Instead of getting snappy with me, how about making sure your staff that barely understands or speaks English get the orders right. Then I won't have to go out of my way to return for the correction. Everyone makes mistakes but good customer service goes a long way sir.

I got to this place, went to the patio, picked a table and just sat there. There were two workers out there— I don’t know if they were on break or what. One was on the phone, and I’m not sure what the other was doing. Obviously, there were workers inside and a few customers dining in as well. I had the pleasure of sitting outside for about 15-20 mins while absolutely no one acknowledged me.

Just as I was getting up to leave, one of the ladies as I mentioned before got up to go inside, and asked me, “excuse me..what would you like to drink?” While she held her phone in her hand. That interaction somehow felt as if I was bothering her. I politely told her, “that’s okay. I’m actually just going to leave.” At that point it had been long enough to figure out what was happening, and I didn’t want to cause a scene. I felt a little hurt knowing I was ignored, and a little humiliated that other customers obviously witnessed the whole situation as well.

After today, this was my favorite small place to dine-in for fish tacos. In all of my experiences…this place has usually been a seat yourself restaurant if no one is standing around greeting people, as I even called to confirm this before I left my review. Never had any issues like this, but it all guarantees I’ll never return. I literally couldn’t even get a cup of water.

Now I have to find some place else that serves good fish tacos. 😂

TDT#2 is #1 in my book! Everything is done really well. They have an excellent salsa bar that can really bring some nice flavors into the mix. I'm a big fan of the salsa pasilla, and a little bit of the salsa aceite can bring some subtle smokiness and body to the bottom. I've had tacos, burritos, tortas, and quesadillas, and they are all very good. The quesabirria is my favorite.

Loved this Mexican restaurant, had streak and chorizo street tacos and the meat was seasoned to perfection. The salsa bar was a nice added touch. One of the best salsas I have had recently and the cheese dip was good too.

I have gone at least 5 times and have loved the taste and quality of food each time. The reason For my score - the staff does not stand behind making the experience right for the customer. I recently noticed their sign that says no refunds. They have left items out of my order twice and instead of refunding me or accepting fault, both times they just asked me to come back and gave to me with no concern of inconvenience. In my last and final visit, they refunded guests who accompanied me to the restaurant but debated with them about only refunding half of the order. Their reason was that they had one part of the order and had already prepared it but didn’t have the item ordered by the other person in her party. Customer service and customer experience needs to change.

Birria tacos is what brought me here originally and originally some of the best tacos I've ever had but I think they have fallen into the trap that so many restaurants do after the newness wears off. They get comfortable and quality falls.

I used to go here once a week and 9 months ago this place was a 10 out of 10, mostly because of my love of Birria tacos but also because they had some nachos and salsa.

I slowly started not going as much and today me and my coworker came here. I had the Birria tacos, it's been a few months since I have had them and he had the Burrito Loco. Both on the menu sound really amazing.

The birria tacos the last 4 or 5 times I've had them including today were no longer crisp and fresh, they tasted premade and reheated. These are not the Quesabirria tacos I would recommend to anyone. To make things even worse, I took a bit of the nachos and I was shocked at how stale they were.

My coworker immediately after eating recommended to take Tacos Don Tacho off of our lunch list. This was his first experience and he summed it up as a stale burrito.

A place I once bragged and recommended to many as one of the few good places to get Birria tacos has now become a places I would not recommend to anyone.

If I was just basing my score off of today, I would give it a 3 out of 10 but factoring in all of my experiences here, how good it was and how far it has fallen. 6.3 out of 10. I may try again in a month once I forget how bad the experience today was and see if they can get back some consistency.

Rude I’m an immigrant myself . I still understand hello , excuse me . After saying excuse me hello to 3 different ppl a total of 20 times . I wasn’t acknowledged. I didn’t get to receive a to go box I paid still in cash added the tip and walked out . ( shouldn’t have added a tip AT ALL) Oh they definitely spoke to everyone who looked like them walking in . NEWS flash you can’t be better than a than another immigrant . This isn’t the first time I experienced the rude behavior there . I was hoping the nice lady who is there sometimes would be . Wish I remembered her name

This place needs to be shut down. They reuse meat that has been days old and their food isn't cooked well. It's not even about the taste it's about serving food that is old so nothing gets wasted. This results in food poisoning not even mentioning the customer service that is given at this location.

Un amigo me recomendó ir a probar la comida la primera vez que fui una chica nos paso los menús y nos dio las bebidas paso el tiempo y nadie nos tomaba la orden hasta que yo le dije que estábamos listos para ordenar vine otra chica y con su carota de enojada y nos toma la orden pedí un cóctel de camarón y le pedí que me lo calentara y se negaron a hacerlo pues tube que pedir otra cosa en ese momento dije jamás vuelvo y bueno ayer quise darles otra oportunidad y pedí un 7 mates cuando me percato de que había un pelo en mi comida le dije al mesero como para que hiciera algo al respecto y lo único que hizo fue decir gracias por avisar ( queee ósea lo tendré que pagar o al menos cámbiamelo por Dios ) necesitan hacer algo urgente con su personal en mi opinion

The fact they have ice cream bar is top notch. I feel the love in the food. Reminds me of when I lived in San Diego California. We would go across the border and eat food in Tijuana. Street tacos are awesome. It's a must have. The salsa bar I nice. I wish it had hot carrots with jalapeños. That would set it off for sure. So if you're looking for the real deal this is it.

First time here. Will definitely be back. The quality and options of a good authentic food truck but with the convenience of a sit down place. The Birria tacos are fire and the sauce bar will have me back asap.
Highly recommend.

I ate here because I was in the area and read the good reviews. Honestly, the food wasn't nasty and it wasn't as good as the reviews. I guess it all depends where you have ate good food at in the past. I mean don't be scared to try it because it might actually be the best in that area so reviews are truly honest.

This is my 4th time eating here and everything has been delicious. This time I had the Mexican pizza and my companion had the chicken fajita salad. They also have a wonderful selection of popsicles, ice cream and other desserts.

I don’t normally go to places I haven’t heard about or don’t know of but I am so happy my boyfriend and I decided to come here. Food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere was open and pleasant, the service was great, they got our order completely perfect, and they had the best queso I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be coming back!

Had my first experience here today . It was wonderful! And so beautifully presented! . Lots of flavor and heat that I liked. Salsa bar and amazing deserts! Ice cream with fresh veggies and popsicles galore ! I can’t wait to go back. I did not try the margaritas this time .

I loved the food at Don Tacho. They have large menu of authentic Mexican food to choose from and all the options sounds very tasty. I wanted to try the basic tacos first to get an idea and they did not disappoint. The taco bar they have helps you customize your tacos the way you want. The Quesadilla was great and recommended. I loved their ice cream and fruit bars options if you’re looking for a dessert after a heavy meal. Give them a try!

I’ve been 3 times now, and this place has yet to disappoint. In fact, order the campechano torta (pictured). It’s the best $9 you’ll spend all week. The chicken quesadilla was well spiced, and service is fast and friendly.

This place has the worst birria tacos, the meat has a strange taste and the waitress couldn’t even tell me what kind of meat it was. The consomé is basically pozole. The salsa’s are watered down with very little flavor. Overall bad experience and will not be returning.
I would give them a zero but that’s not possible so I give them a 1 ..

Did a work luncheon today and had it catered - Extremely great service and food! Highly recommend! My entire team loved it. We will definitely be ordering again for work and home as well!
