On this particular dish I think it could have been a bigger portion and it tasted great but the dish that my wife had was very nice. The service was fantastic, and the owner himself came out to see about you, and the atmosphere was great it is family oriented. So I would definitely recommend it and be going back myself

By far the best Mexican food around. Not the Americanized, cheese laden “Mexican” food most are used to. I’m originally from El Paso Texas and this place tastes like home. Go every weekend and Going back again today!

First time visit. Everything was hot, fresh and exactly as ordered. The shrimp tacos were fantastic. Just FYI, if you want cheese dip on anything, make sure to order it. Even without having that, all of our food tasted wonderful.

It’s the best Mexican grill I’ve been to in a LONG time. The food, the service, and the margaritas all floored me lol. The salsa and guacamole are by far the best I’ve had. Not watery or thin at all. I’m becoming a frequent customer.

I stopped by after a friend’s funeral because I googled fish tacos near me. Eva was the hostess/ cashier. She was very kind and made an adjustment to the tacos because I didn’t like avocados. Also I didn’t want to spend a certain amount of money so I ordered a small coke after asking. I sat down to wait on my food, and when she brought it, she gave me a large. I will always remember her kindness. A business should have someone who knows how to accommodate customers! I will go back one day! Great place! My tacos were good💙🔥💙🔥

The food was absolutely disgusting! The service wasn't great either...drinks stayed needing to be refilled. And when we told them our kids could barely eat their food it was so bad, they just looked at us. The taco was so soggy, you could barely eat the shell. We went to check out and told them everything, the girl just got our waitress, and they talked infront of us for about 4 mins or so (we couldn't understand a word they were saying!!) And then say cash or card 🤔 like not even discount us at all! Just won't happen again... we've been there several times and never had these problems, but won't ever have them again either 😕

We frequent Cinco and have never had a bad experience. They are always fast, fresh and friendly. The quesobirria is amazing and never disappoints! My husband never deviates from the chimichangas and will not go to other Mexican restaurants anymore. My teenagers switch it up each time and like all of their choices. They said the quesadillas are top notch! We came in at 8:30, knowing they close at 9 and their smiles never wavered. They didn’t rush us or make us feel uncomfortable and the quality was still great.

The food here is so bland. If you like that, this may be your place. I did not care for any of their food because it had no Mexican spices to top it off. This is my third visit, in hopes they would have improved. So, as the old saying goes, "strick three, you're out." All the other Mexican restaurants in Hueytown and Bessemer are way better than here.

Thought I'd give them another chance so went to dinner tonight. I go so much the manager knows my order by heart. I'm sitting at the bar and I see the Red hair waitress grab tortillas WITH HER HANDS, SCRATCH HER FACE, THEN GRAB MORE TORTILLAS after she just touched her face, NOOOO GLOVES. I've waited on tables and you're touching plates, trays, dishes AND MONEY. Please be a little bit cleaner because nobody wants to eat food you've touched with your hands. Yeaaaah think that's my final visit with them..

Food is a little above average for a Mexican place because they do have a wide variety. Service is not as quick as it should be, we waited too long for them to take our order after drinks were served and the place was not busy since we were in there after 3.

I normally have no issues coming here but today was disappointing.I asked for the molcajete with corn tortillas but got flour tortillas instead not only that my side salad and beans seem to just be small serving for a toddler.
I also got the chicken and rice with cheese dip and my rice and chicken doesn’t even seem to have gotten a scoop of cheese dip

I went today on my lunch break , I did a call in order I was told my food would be ready in 10 minutes I got there in 15 and it still wasn’t ready . Once I paid for my food the girl never took my order to the back the manager came out 5 minutes later and ask for my receipt to go make the order . The food still wasn’t right $15.00 dollars for nachos and they only had like 10 chips I paid extra for jalapeño that they didn’t put on there and when I called back he told me that the did put jalapeño on there I told them they are bell peppers he yelled to the kitchen to ask them what did they put on it then get bk on the phone and say he watched them himself and I asked them why u just asked . I hung up the phone the food use to be good and the service but now I will not go back .

I don't know what happened to this place but the service was horrible. The food did not taste the same or had the same quality or quantity. The manager had to come to the table and ask if our drinks order was taken which it was not and he came back to ask if we order was place which it was not. We ordered or usually although we don't come often but when we did it was good. The last time I just assume due to busy hours but now I'm starting to think this will be the last time we return. We always get the fajita Pablo which come ls with lots of meat and we added shrimp. Well.... it came out with LOTS OF peppers and unions. Minimum meelat no bacon
We order extra bacon and shrimp to it but only got 3 shrimp for supposed $6.99. Manager came over to try to fix the issue but the damage was already done. I at one point, love this place. Not sure what happened but where's the old cook and waitress because it just a different vibe that I just can't get with, service 7, food 5 and overall experience 6.5.... I won't be back. It was good while it lasted.

It’s hard finding decent Mexican food in the area but I think we found the place to come back to. We ordered nachos which were decent. My husband ordered the taco salad which he loved! I ordered chicken and steak Diablo fajitas which were fantastic! For my little babes she had a cheese quesadilla. It was all over which translates to being delicious. Our waitress was very attentive. We will come back soon.

This was my first time eating here! My family and I came to have a Birthday celebration for my sister. We liked that they had a variety of unique options to choose from on the menu. The staff were not very friendly and the service was awful. We hardly ever got any refills, we had to ask for extra napkins they gave us three napkins for a party of 12 people ( we had to ask for more napkins several times). After we all placed our orders we had to wait at least 20 minutes or longer before they began to bring our food out. Instead of bringing all our meals out at once ( they'd bring a few then go bring someone at another table their orders). With a larger than normal party you expect to have most of the food ready to be brought out back to back. Instead we had people eating before others received their meals. My mixed fajita meal was really good ( the rice and beans not so much). The salsa was okay (kinda bland). I was taken back on how much I spent for just two people to eat. We literally spent $43 on one small kids meal, kids sweat tea, one adult sweet tea, one bottled orange drink and a mixed fajita meal. I was expecting it to be around $30 at the most not sure why it cost so much extra. While the food was good it definitely wasn't worth paying that much for one adult and one kid to eat. I'd recommend the food, but everything else was just poor to mediocre.

Food is just ok… small portions and far too expensive. To top that all of the service is all but nonexistent. We enjoyed going to dinner for sometime, then it became unacceptable. I will not be charged for asking for the proper amount of cheese for example. We have gave them three chances, we WILL NOT BE RETURNING!! I have attempted to let someone know how I feel and was ignored, blown off.

Phenomenal street tocas!!! Best I ever had, and I've been all over!! Amazing street tocas! There free chips and salsa is also amazing..the salsa is the best!! And extra hot sauces on the side if you ask, all very good! Good drinks! Great service!! My favorite Mexican restaurant by far!!! Extra parking across the street.
