Local Mexican chain offering a menu of classic dishes & a full bar in a casual, traditional space.
This place, amazing π. The service was great, friendly and good vibe. No wait time at 1pm on a Saturday π― Ordering was ez I got the Dilla Pizza and it was β¨οΈ delicious. Filled with chicken bacon cheese and pineapple. Each bite was balanced full, warm and had the right amount of bacon crunch. The chicken was seasoned and flavorful πThis food 9.8 out of 10. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Came here for a late night dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the massive portion sizes. You will definitely have some left overs! I had the chicken and rice plate with a side of beans. Prices are fair for the amount of food received. Highly recommend coming here after spending a day at Blevins Gap as itβs only 7 min away from the trailhead.

When entering Casa Blanca, I expected a small space. It was much larger than I anticipated and colorfully decorated.
The decor is fairly typical Mexican restaurant. The murals on the back wall look surrealistic but I have seen the same decor in other restaurants. It essentially depicts people with strange appearanceβmuch as if a person died and has come back to life (see photo). This is not as mellow and relaxing as a beach scene on the Gulf of Mexico but it is colorful.
The food and service were very good. I had a chicken dish. The chicken was pounded into a flat piece of chicken and spread out on much of the plate. It had a good flavor and well seasoned. The rice was very good as were the beans although slightly salty.
My dining companion had an enchilada dish which was also very good.
Prices are reasonableβespecially in view of the 8%+ inflation from last year that is now reflected in restaurant prices.
Plenty of margaritas to choose from as well!

Server 3 was a nightmare! She became unglued and was absolutely rude at a simple request to heat up my tortilla chips. Literally, she yelled, "They're not cold. They're not cold!" A look of exasperation revealed vexation in her eyes. I should have left then but had already placed my order.
Later, when I requested to speak to a manager, her reply was, "They're on break and won't be back until 5 o'clock." From start to finish, her customer service was deplorable. Brownish peaks displayed aging Guacamole - yuk! Plus, the restaurant was frigid. Paying nearly $30 for my meal was frighteningly excessive for the worst in customer service!
Some notable moments were special! Warm quesadillas were delicious to taste as were the refried beans. Pineapple tea was island-like perfection. Thankfully, a few and only a few bright spots emerged. Moving forward, I think I would rather patronize the Casa Blanca on Hwy 72 W than the one at 7900 Bailey Cove Rd.

We went for lunch. Our 6 yr old had the kids pizza and loved it. I had a chili releno and a soft chicken taco. It was a large plate of food, served very hot, and the rellano was very flavorful, but the chicken taco was quite bland and almost tasteless. The restaurant was pleasant, and the staff attentive. Lunch prices ran around $11 or so, it looked like dinner would be another 5 to 10 dollars or more depending on selection. I will go again but probably avoid the chicken dishes.

This location has really went downhill. Their prices have went up and the quality of the food has went down. My son and I shared a meal, got cheese dip with 2 sweet teas and it was over 50 dollars.
Published 10 months ago
What happened to the pricing?! it's no longer an affordable neighborhood place. A plate is almost 20 per person for a burrito or a quesadilla, plus drinks at 10+.. add a large cheese dip and somehow our bill was over 180 for 4. I can go to the EZ lounge, Longhorn steak, Baumhower, Red Robin and even Connor's for less. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Service was a little slow, we were on a short lunch break, and the restaurant wasn't crowded at the time. The staff was very polite and professional. Complementary chips and salsa were very good, I would have been happy just to eat those. I had the steak quesadilla appetizer, which was very well done, simple, no frills but good. My Daughter had the special lunch burrito. It was just a plate with burrito stuff on it. They messed up her order because mushrooms were mixed in just one part of the burrito plate. I've never heard of mushrooms on a burrito before. Also when she tried the refried beans every other bite or so, she'd get this sour taste in her mouth. I'd only recommend it if you're in a pinch for time, as it's the only option I'm aware of in the Bailey Cove Area.

The food is mediocre with a higher price tag for run of the mill Mexican food. It takes the servers a long time to take your order, and they donβt notify you when theyβre out of something you order. We ordered a meal that came with guacamole, and upon receiving the meal noticed said guacamole was missing. We asked our server and told βweβre outβ. This is information we would need to know before placing this order. They would sure charge you $4 to ADD guacamole, but we were offered no discount for it to be missing.

I have been coming to this location since 2017. After covid this establishment has seemed to go down hill, especially the service. I ordered one of my usuals, the Toro Loco, and received my food however the tortillas were not given to me. When I asked the waitress for the tortillas that come with the meal she stated that it would be an extra charge. I told her that I've ordered this dish for years and it has always come with tortillas. At this point if I was her I would go ask a manager or supervisor for clarification on if it does or not, but she instead decides to argue with me about it. She even brought out the menu and asked me where it says tortillas come with the meal. So you're telling me that if fajitas for example didn't specify that they came with tortillas it would be an extra charge for them? Rediculois. On top of all that I bit into something hard when eating my rice and beans which ended up being a piece of gravel/rock! I will not be returning to this location. After 5 years you have lost my service. Disappointing at what this place has become.

I love their tortilla soup, but I wish it would be the same twice. I've ordered this soup from this location twice a week for the past few months and it is different EVERY time. Sometimes it's covered in cilantro, sometimes the avocado is mixed in, sometimes on the side, sometimes it's full of onions and peppers, most times none. I think they need to develop an actual recipe and utilize said recipe. Furthermore, maybe they don't put the soup in a bag with other items so that the soup doesn't spill. I really hope they come up with proper cooking and packaging. Until then I will not be ordering what had become my favorite dish.

So we have been coming here for many years. And prices have steadily gone up, which I guess is a little understandable due to the times. However, when you order the fajitas they bring out a large portion but they bring out three tiny tortillas. Then as you order more because there's no way you can get all the food on the three tortillas they charge you for every three they bring out but they don't tell you. Sort of an underhanded way to make money and they should tell you. Also, the service was not great this past visit and we kept having to get up to go find the person to give us service. I brought up this issue with the checkout person before I left and they just pretty much ignored me.

Terrible experience. Restaurant booth we were sat in had a massive stain on the wall with tears in the tablecloth (all the tables looked this way) the cheese dip we were served was chunky? Which we were told was normal the waitress was non existent except to get the order wrong. And the cook clearly believes in the moniker of overcook it to avoid food poisoning. Which is probably for the best with a health score of 85. Definitely avoid this one and go somewhere else like la finka, everything is better there.

Ordered a 12.99 plate steak nachosβ¦ I kindly told them that the plate was dry and bland that i could really use more cheese for it. . Two different people told me that Iβd have to pay an extra 3.25 for more cheeseβ¦ now this had my frustrated because the food was NOT worth 12.99 much-less adding more money to my ticket for their mediocre food that I could of made better and for less money at home. Anyways, got my cheese after they made it seem like a huge dealβ¦ super frustrating WILL NOT GO BACK.
