Last time I was there was a few years ago and the service has not improved. The food was ok. I did notice that they will treat nice a male by himself or in a group. Definitely not a family restaurant.

The server was very nice. She recommended the lunch fajitas which were just the right size and tastes good. The peppers and onions were still crunchy and not over cooked. Bonus points since they had multiple hot sauces on the table.

Food came out AMAZINGLY quick and was tasty. The wait staff were attentive, helpful and polite. Price point seemed high at first, until I saw the quantity- easily 2 meals for a big guy over 6ft.
Please try this place

The parking is not ideal, but not horrifying either. Only downside

La comida llegò rapidomente y era rico. Con la cantidad comì un plato sobre casi un dia total. Los frijoles eran normal pero estaba con chorizo bueno y muchas cosas. Sobre todo, las salas son buenisimas.

This place was awesome. I got the #40 seafood molcajete del mar. It was authentic. It came out in a blazing hot bowl. It had 8 large shrimp, fish, green peppers, and queso. I recommend this place for sure.

I love this place, the steak tacos are the best in town! They have a huge menu! If you have picky eaters don’t worry they have options for them too! The last time I ordered the supreme nachos but on fries instead of chips! It is super delicious! The service is fast and the pricing varies

It was very busy but our food came out steamy hot,we had steak fajitas for him and chicken fajitas for me😋😋😋😋...

For both to eat and we drank tea,which the waitress did tell us they have their license to sell mixed drinks they're waiting on the liquor to come in...
They will be a force to recon with once they can sell mixed drinks with their food menu!

La comida está rica pero las meseras muy mal servicio se tiró un poco del refresco de mi niña lo limpiamos con servilletas y no fue para recoger las servilletas mojadas nos teníamos que parara para pedir las cosas las niñas querían postre pero ni donde ponerlo nunca quitaron los platos de la mesas como 3 meseras comiendo tacos y uno esperando a que fueran atendernos optanos por irnos creo no hay manager los cubiertos los llevan en bolsa pero la manera que están dentro de la bolsa no es la correcta estaba sucio el tenedor me quedé pensando si después de comer tacos las meseras se van a hacer cubiertos y los agarran con las manos sucias del lado de los dientes donde se toma la comida por qué para ponerlos en la bolsa se tienen que agarrar del mango los baños sin jabón y sin aire central

La verdad no es buena con yo pensaba el servicio más o menos y el ambiente no megusto porque habían niños corriendo y la comida pécima la verdad no bulvere pero el precio si que es caro si quieren ir aunque sea así ballan experimenten para que no les cuenten:)

We stumbled on this place while out shopping. It's large: you could definitely hold a private party of some sort here. The decor is bright and colorful, like Mexico. It's attractive and welcoming.

The food tasted authentic, was plentiful, and arrived steaming hot, which is always a huge plus to me. The server was polite and helpful. My companion spoke Spanish, which the staff appreciated! However, they were more than able to have a conversation with me. I'd definitely go again.

Amazing food, affordable price. Highly recommend the Chori-Pollo (chicken with chorizo and queso) and the Big Daddy Burrito (huge burrito stuffed with steak, shrimp, chorizo, smothered in queso). The al pastor tacos are the best around and only $2!

Our waitress was not paying any attention to us because there were men there and she was too busy flirting . Then a paying customer came in he looked like he just got off work and was a little dirty. It was pouring rain outside and the manager told him to eat outside asked if he had any money and told him he couldn't come in. It was very rude, judgemental and unprofessional. Who are we to judge. I jumped up and said he was with me so he sat at the table next to me. They didn't ask him what he wanted to drink or give him the free chips and salsa . I paid for his food and talked to the manager and she said she can't let dirty people come in. It makes the restaurant look bad. I was so upset on how rude and unprofessional they were.

The Food is great, some of the best I have had in Huntsville. My only complaint is, if you are not mexican it is difficult to have a server acknowledge you, or even have enough respect to look you in the eye. I was made to feel that I was not supposed to be there.

What can I say, kind of blah. Not a terrible place to eat but there are better options around town. It's on par with Rosie's or Phil Sandoval, just a little dingier. Service was ok, the top shelf margarita was not great. Overall, I just wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Stay away from this place. 1. The AC was broken! It was very hot in there. 2. They are using an old menu with old pricing, when you go pay they suprise you with a higher price on everything. 3. The waitress forgot we were there and disappeared. When she did come by, she was in a bad mood (maybe because it was so hot in there since the AC was not working) 4. Food was completely nasty. We had fajitas and the meat had so much fat! My dad ordered fajita quesadilla and it came out with ground beef and greasy. STAY AWAY!!

I went in with a friend for a quick drink after work. Had 1 regular size margarita each. Nothing fancy or special ordered. Didn't even take the free chips & salsa. Our total for 2 drinks $45. This was a nice looking restaurant, but I'm glad we didn't eat. Would have been entire weeks pay!!!

This is where the Mexicans go for Mexican food. The food was authentic. There was live music. The only problem is that I felt out of place because hardly anyone spoke English and I felt like I was an imposition on them for just being there. It was crowded. It was confusing to leave because it was hard to get my bill because of the language barrier. It's usually hard to find a parking spot because they are so popular.

First few times I called in orders for Chicken Fajitas it was great and Large Portions. Then after a while it seems like They got to where They didn't care really. Lately nearly every time, it's like They just chopped up some Bell Peppers and Onions and Tomatoes and just threw them in the box on top of the Chicken. I hope They get it back on track soon cause I really Love this place. Close to home, really cheap and get Twice as much food. Please start back to cooking the vegetables enough. Thanks

Very disappointed I had heard good things but they put beans (runny) in my taco salad doesn't specify on menu that it has beans in it, very odd for a taco salad. It was like a soup in a shell. 🤢

UPDATE: 2/8/2023:
ALAS NIRVANA FOUND! My visit yesterday was outstanding and I think they have busted the nut on being the go to Mexican restaurant here in Huntsville, AL IMHO. I had the Bistec Azteca and it was the BOMBA! This place has transformed into an 'ALL GO AND NO SHOW" Mexican restaurant. Very good service and the food has just gotten a whole lot better. You should really disregard the exterior, clientele and location, go in, and have a wonderful experience. SHOUT OUT to all the other non-IP's (Indigenous Personnel) who have crossed over to the culinary dark side.

UPDATE 6/22/2022
Well they have moved into the 4 1/2 Star range rating. I visited this evening and ordered the 'mondo' seafood platter. Although impresive and tasty I was kinda disappointed... They list on the menu that it comes with a filet, but they don't tell you that it is a filet of fish, which was good as well but I was looking for a piece of steak as well! Needless to say I was let down, but this is a first world problem... the other items were wonderful and provided enough for a take home for tommorros lunch. Service was good as always. Health rating is up to 97. If you look at the mens rest room picture it's all most like being in ole mejico with the exception of it being clean. Enjoy

Solid Four Star restaurant. It does not get any more authentic. Go around lunch time and the place is full of indigenous people (IP) eating and drinking. Food is tasty, served hot and very affordable. All this for $10.00 (minus tip). For first time visitors strongly suggest that you go during the day time hours... Your results may vary.

This is one of my favorites for authentic Mexican food. I am never disappointed. I highly recommend the street tacos(shrimp or steak) and the Shrimp quesadilla. They also have an ice cream shop right next door!

Omg... Such amazing food!! I called in the order and sent my stepdad to pick it up for my husband & I couldn't eat mine until after I got off work and even reheating it in the microwave didn't knock out any of it's greatness!! When I dined in a few weeks ago our service was outstanding!! Just the right level of service- not too much and not too little. Clean store and great atmosphere

Just a little FYI: If going there for the lunch specials make sure to say that you want the lunch special meal or you might end up getting the dinner version which no issue just price difference.

Food wise its pretty decent compare to other places, the fajitas were pretty good and not over season to the point where it overwhelm the side dishes.

Great place to eat, loved the tacos, I tried every meat you could put on them and all of the were so flavorful with the right colors and textures. I would only recommend to get draft beer and dont play the music too loud. Besides that everything was amazing. Very attentive staff. I would recommend you to try it.
