Fiero Mexican Grill

The food at Fiero Mexican Grill is great! In my opinion it is much better than chipotle or Moe's due to the authentic variety of meat and toppings. It would be easily upgraded to five stars if they were open for dinner but they have very limited hours.

I placed an order through Grub South today for 2 Mexican Bowls... Something I've ordered before. What I received was rice, chicken and sauce... That's it. It usually has beans and veggie but not this time. When I made a complaint I got told that's how it is made. Just rice and chicken and sauce. The beautiful pictures online... Don't fall for it. After going back and forth they offered a whole 6 bucks discount total for both of my half bowls.

I have wanted to try this place since they opened and was soooo excited to finally make it by there today, however while trying to place our order, we saw 3 ROACHES on the order line! Omg so grossed out! And when we told the lady, she just scooped them up with her gloved hand, threw them down and continued working like nothing ever happened. They were right by the food too...and babies so we all know what that means. We left. So sad we didn't get to try this place.

I have been eating at Fiero since they first opened on a fairly consistent basis. Not as much as I used to since I now work remote, but I still eat here when I am in the area or meeting a coworker for lunch.

There are many other restaurants that I have dropped over the years where the quality of food or service has declined. Fiero has remained consistent with their food throughout this time and I love their tacos. Also, the employees are always nice and respectful.

Had a meeting near here so I tried this place for lunch and was very disappointed. Got the Al pastor pork tacos and the meat was filled with gristle. They dont edit the meat at all. When you fix meat for serving you just cannot serve whole bites of gristle. What meat I did get was flavorless. The steak didnt look very good so I ordered the pork. It came with a side of chips and salsa. Some of the chips were very good and some of them were over cooked and powdery. On the good side the salsa was fairly well made and had some spice to it. But there are so many better Mexican restaurant near by that I seriously cant imagine coming back here again.

Great food, breakfast is really affordable and good. Less than $5 for a steak and egg taco. 😮 Very fast service always. Lunch is a bit pricey but worth it.

The food is outstanding and plenty enough for two meals. The only complaint is that they advertise a discount if you use cash, but two times in a row they did not give it without me asking. The cashier was disappointed that she had to go get change.

Decent food if you come at noon. Don't bother coming at 1, because they start shutting down their kitchen. I received one of the greasiest burritos I've ever seen because they we're working with scraps after the noon lunch crowd. It actually was dripping with grease.

I was here picking up an order for Uber eats. The customer ordered a drink with their food and I was told it was in the bag. I got to my car and kept feeling for the beverage but the bag was super light. I didn’t have a choice but to open the unsealed bag. That’s when I see just a cup. Not ONCE did the cashier say I had to fill it myself or it was JUST THE CUP. So delivery drivers, be sure to check the bag of the customer orders a drink!

I am new to the area and my job allows me to cater lunches for my clients. I had a last minute cancellation from another business and was scrambling for another order on short notice. Rhonda and her team not only met the order on time, they did it exceptionally well!!!

The food, the service, the people are all top quality. I took this to my client’s office and they all asked where it was from and said it was the best Mexican food they had ever had!!! Wish I could give more stars. Will 100% be a return customer!!!

Food is mediocre. Chicken taco was good. Steak has no seasoning, super dry. I ordered the elote and it was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Honey cilantro lime salsa is good on tacos, but wish they had regular salsa to eat with chips. Guac was bland.

This place is great, the staff is nice and can give great recommendations. They have a wide variety of options with multiple different meat choices. The Honey Lime Chicken is really good as wells as the steak. The portion sizes are good, and you end up with more than you can eat. They also serve brownies and cookies that are good. Even though the service is fast, the volume of people make the service slow. But it is still worth it.

This is my favorite lunch spot when working on the Arsenal. Bowls, burritos, tacos... All are excellent, fresh, and built to order. Staff is very friendly and get you in and out fast. The steak is incredible - blows Chipotle and the rest away. Treat yourself and you will be hooked!

I love this place. The chicken is the best of any burrito joint in Huntsville. Excellent for a quick lunch and right outside gate 9 of the arsenal. Happy hour tacos and Monday is $5.95 burrito day! Great value and delicious food.

I want to first state that I love the food at Fiero. I have been coming here faithfully since it opened a few years ago. Due to their location and I guess the agreement they have with the Arsenal they are only open until 3:30. This is no big deal to me since I live on the other side of town and only eat it when I am at work. Now here comes my negative. I eat lunch a little late just so I can avoid crowds during lunch. The first few years eating here I never really had a complaint at all and the workers were great. However, the past year or so they have started to run out of food or stopped making food sometimes near 1:30. I think that is unacceptable. Now, most days they do not have chips after 1:00 and we have complained about this multiple times. You can tell the workers do not care which I think is a shame and sadly it's probably a reflection of management. I think it is ridiculous to not have CHIPS and some meats 2 hours before you close. I cannot imagine walking into Rosie's 2 hours before close and being informed that they had no chips or some food unavailable. I'm pretty sure half of Huntsville would be up in arms with some people calling the local news :-)

Everything is good here, but I am in love with the Honey Lime Chicken Bowl and there queso cheese corn you can add in this heavenly bowl of greatness is 😍.

You can get the chicken in everything else as well such as the buritos and tacos. The other meats are yummy too; however this is a solid favorite I have yet to get tired of and I've literally eaten it every day for like 3 weeks straight.

How would Chipotle or Moe's taste if it was run by an actual chef? It would taste like Fiero.

A burrito-bowl concept akin to Chipotle, fresh ingredients like the competition without the many-times-repeated sickness incidents, an actual chef, and the best view in town from the "Shops at Redstone."

Very generous portions for a very affordable price. Stop by.

Long story short.. today while in line, the guy asked what I would like. I started off by saying, "Happy Friday!" Hearing this, the young man said, "no one has talked to me other than to order food." He then proceeded to buy my lunch in appreciation. This review is not about a free lunch, BUT about a kind word between two strangers. I hope the management of Fiero recognizes this young man (young guy, glasses worked 15 Feb Lunch time). Great food, good atmosphere and even better people. Cheers!

This place is amazing!!! The food is fantastic and tastes authentic. Their vegan tacos are OUTSTANDING!! The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars are because their menu says you get free chips and salsa but do not proactively give it to you and because they close too early.

Black beans were crunchy, and rice had no seasoning. Barbacoa was actually pork, not goat. Service was good, but the food is not nearly as authentic Mexican as they would lead you to believe. (When I think local authentic tacos, I think more like Taqueria El Calzador)
