Los Mariachis

This restaurant has changed hands many times and over the last couple years, I was very disappointed in the food and the prices. Well, it's in good hands now. The prices are LOWER. The food is very good, the service is nice, and they have redecorated the inside.

It is a fine small neighborhood Mexican restaurants that you can hardly see, but it is across Whitesburg from Burger King so they are very convenient to downtown. Give them a try. I know I will be back soon!

My husband and I have been eating here for over 10 years. The food is excellent- they have an a la carte menu, too!! The staff is always great. The atmosphere is also nice, not loud and not dark. We enjoy our meals at Los Mariacis. Their grilled chicken is perfect!

Passing through and found this place on Google Maps search, glad we stopped there. The food (shrimp chili relleno and chicken fajitas)was great and more than enough for the price. Already told family and friends to stop in and we will be returning on our travels through the area. Enjoyed!

On my way home from work, so I like to stop here and grab a to-go meal if I'm craving Mexican. Always gets me what I need and in a timely manner. The lunch buffet is tasty and cheap. The patio with the fountain is great come warm weather time!

The margaritas are terrible. Taste like pine-sol bathroom cleaner. Seriously couldn't drink more than one sip. Still can't get that taste out of my mouth! No wonder not many people were there.

My husband and I have been eating here for over 10 years. The food is excellent- they have an a la carte menu, too!! The staff is always great. The atmosphere is also nice, not loud and not dark. We enjoy our meals at Los Mariacis. Their grilled chicken is perfect!

I've eaten at Los Mariachis many times over the years. The food is generally good albeit variable at busy times. My chimichanga last night was nicely done.

Cheese dip and salsa were both thin/watery and flavorless. Drink pours are 1.25oz per their signage, as opposed to usual 1.5oz, but prices don’t reflect that. Service was decent. A/C was busted when we were here. There are better “Americanized” Mexican restaurants in town and there are better authentic Mexican restaurants in town. Don’t go out of your way for this one.

I got the Mojarra(fried talipia) and my mom got the Fajita Azteca. It was all delicious. Best guacamole and pico de Gallo. My momma said that this food deserves a good appetite. They have the best Mojarra I have ever had. The seasoning was amazing. We will visit again when we come back in town. My new Huntsville Fav!!!!

The service was great but the food was not good. It was very greasy and made our stomach hurt. We also had margaritas that has too much syrup. Because the service was good but not the food I’m rating this Mexican restaurant a 2/5 Don’t think we’ll be coming back.

Dive kinda place, as expected and wanted. A bit late for the lunch buffet, so the food was a bit old. Service was good, at least they have folks working.

Did the buffet they never put out any food had to scrap bottom ask for fresh never did waitress never refilled teas 56 bucks for 3 people and ask for discount nothing food wasn't good at all what they did have we will never go again

The quality if the food has really gone down since the Covid outbreak. Our food came out of the kitchen on warm plates but the food was just barely warm. The quantity was reduced from our last visit. It took a lot of salsa and Mexican sauces on the table to give the nachos flavor. My campanion's meal was as equally unflavored. His burrito was very small and had much less filling than in the past. Our waiter was pleasant but very inattentive. Probably not a repeat restaurant for us and we once so enjoyed it.

This is the worst Mexican restaurant experience I've had in my entire life. It took way too long to get a server, he didn't check back with me after I got my food. It was supposed to come with rice and beans and I didn't get any. The burrito I got was soggy, in a pool of water, and flavorless. It was an extremely small portion as well. The soda I got was sour and flat. I waited for almost 10 minutes to get a ticket to pay and he was nowhere to be seen. I finally just went up and told the host what I'd ordered and she rung me up, but I got charged almost $2 more than the menu price and the terrible soda I had cost $3. Then to top things off, I could barely get out of the parking lot because their food truck was blocking all the parking spaces off.

Wow! A Mexican restaurant with buffet! Nice opportunity to try several dishes instead of ordering one item from the menu. Good food overall moderately priced. Refried beans on buffet were a bit runny and we also like the queso to be a bit thicker. Excellent server kept our beverages full. We will return!

A group of my coworkers and I went to have lunch at this place. Upon entering it looked a little rough but nothing to bad. After getting our food I found a hair in my order. I know these things happen so no big deal then as I was going to tell the waitress the biggest roach bug I’ve ever seen crawled across the floor. Beside one of us the window seal had little bugs and flies all over it. I told them about it and the only explanation they gave was well the door is opened a lot. Worst dinning experience I’ve had in a long time. Will never go back and I plan on letting everyone I can know. The health department needs to check on them.

First off the waitresses are very non friendly and the specific one was totally rude to me. I did a call in order for a burrito. I went to pick it up and she told me the amount of almost 12 dollars. I said we'll that doesn't seem right because that's not the price I paid last week. She said understand lady it's different prices for different people. I was like wow really. The week before I had placed the same order with a guy over the phone and he was also there when I went in to pick up. He charged me 9 and some change. He had an ok attitude but oh my the waitresses/hostess when you walk in they just stare at you and no hello or anything even when u speak first. I was like ok. But then for the female to tell me that the price varies with each person. I said no that's not right. So I asked for a refund and told her I would just continue to order from the restaurants we usually go to. I get friendly service and great food at those places but I am always up to giving places a try. Not this place again. It's also not like they were in a rush either because the place was dead. One girl was in a booth on her phone scrolling, maybe she was on break idk but no acknowledgement from her. Then one finally came up about 5 mins later. No hello or nothing. I said I have a pick up order and that's when she proceeded to tell me the price and about how it's different prices for different people. 👎 A good attitude goes both ways. Customer service is definitely not where they need to be at. Thanks

Typical hole in the wall mexican food. Only thing unusual is they do charro beans, like a charro bean stew instead of refried beans.

I enjoyed the charro beans but I prefer classic refried beans.

Great! The buffet is sick and is staying my favorite in fact we used to go every thursday night before et moved to meridianville. Buffet is way to go for lunch yog can have endless queso and can or put it on everything . They have white cheesee chicken enchiladas and get tamales and they have tons of sopapillas and like Chinese biscuits. All you can eat . My favorite Mexican in town servers are great and spk decent English. It's fast if want it to be and has a small, cute outdoor patio. To dine at. Margaritas are big and come frozen or in the right m rocks and have strong margaritas specials two night s a week. Try it out!

Nice atmosphere and clean, but waitress was rude. Took my husbands plate while he was still eating, and started mopping with a horrible, strongly scented cleaner while we ate. Then when she didnt receive a tip, gave my husband a hateful look. We wont be back.

The waitress we had was so rude to me....even my husband was like she is being overly aggressive with you. The atmosphere was super depressing and dead. The food was HORRIBLE and bland....please save your money. It made us so sick. We ordered a taco and it was wet. Yes the meat was wet and the tortilla soggy. The place was very dirty too! I can't even imagine how their kitchen looked if their dinning area was that gross. Please go anywhere else... even McDonald's is better than this.

I tried Tres chimichangas. One beef one chicken one shrimp. They were crispy and very tasty fillings. Spiced nicely. I tasted some of rice and burrito from others.Chips were light and crispy. We shared a pitcher of margaritas, good as well. I'll be back

Fast, very friendly, and wonderful food. Very accommodating about special orders. Ask about their homemade hot sauce or their street tacos; they’re not on the menu. The margaritas are good, the beer is cold, and their Burgundy wine is worlds apart from what I would expect at a Mexican restaurant. Friendly, full of regulars, and staff that makes you feel welcome. We once wanted to pick up the tab for a table of cops and it turns out someone else already had. It’s that kind of place.
