I recently dined at Luis’s bar and grill and was blown away by the incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The guacamole was delicious made with perfectly ripe avocados and just the right amount of spice. The tacos were a highlight – the fish tacos were light and flavorful with a perfect texture.

The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The margaritas were expertly crafted and complemented the meal beautifully.

Overall, Luis’s exceeded all my expectations. It's clear that they take great pride in their food and service. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant - so happy you guys opened it! Lots of choices, not crowded, pitchers of margaritas, wonderful food presentation, great service. We had a smothered burrito that looks like a Mexican flag and shrimp chile rellenios - both dishes were delicious. We will be back soon!

This place is tucked away in the back of a plaza. I didn't even know it was back there until I did a search for mexican food. It's laid back with excellent food. The service was quick and the staff were pleasant.

Went last night with 4 kids. Plenty of open space, great food, so many options, portions were wonderful, service was top notch, Luis was there excitedly welcoming guests, margarita was better than most. We will be regulars!

I recently dined at Luis’s Mexican Bar & Grill for the first time. The food was delicious - the restaurant was a bit busy, so it slowed service just slightly, but once our waitress was on it, she was on it! I ordered what I believe was called Texana Arroz which was chicken, steak, shrimp and rice covered with cheese dip and it was so yummy! My boyfriend had a shrimp dish as well. We requested a house spicy salsa that did not disappoint! The prices were good! I hope to visit again soon ☺️

Trivia nights are great fun. All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Food was good. Margaritas are GIGANTIC. This place would feel perfect if they got rid of the florescent lights and did warm and low lighting. Still Recommend.

Quesobirria was really good and husband had the lunch special with a burrito,enchilada and taco. He said it was good. Also the Charro beans were very good too.

Huge fan! Great atmosphere great customer service and great prices . Their shredded chicken tacos are my favorite!!! Christian is the head of the house and he is amazing! You should definitely give it a try

Absolutely the best Mexican food in South Huntsville. Our second time dining here and it's our new go-to spot. Super friendly staff as well. We've been very impressed about the quality and flavors of the food. Also, the value for what you get. The prices are very reasonable compared to other Mexican spots in town. Highly recommended!

Our family took my son for his birthday! Excellent service! The food was delicious! We all ordered different meals and everything was delicious. Even the kids tenders and fries were good. We definitely will be back!

Out of all the other places I have eaten, this is the best. Their chips are so fresh that it's like a warm hug in your mouth with perfect salsa and cheese sauce. 10 out 10 would recommend

Luis's is easily the best TexMex food in Huntsville. I lived in Texas for 20 years and consider myself an expert. I never understood the love for Rosie's. The food at Luis's laps Rosie's and then some. Do yourself a favor and stop going to the "usual" place and go here instead. The food is delicious and the prices are more than fair in this economy. Most impressive of all - their margaritas actually appear to have alcohol in them and not just margarita mix.

Best 🌶️ rellenos in town! Fabulous chips and salsa and rice and beans. Very savory food. Portions were nice. Delicious! Our new favorite place!

Server was friendly and smiled often. Glasses stayed full. I’d take pictures but we enjoyed every last bite.

I saw all the good reviews and was looking forward to relaxing. The atmosphere was so loud I couldn't even understand the server. The food looked under cooked and had stuff that wasn't listed on the menu that I'm allergic to. If you you are looking for a place to relax this isn't it at all. The drink was watered down and I couldn't even taste the liquor in the drink. I should of just gotted a beer. I was extremely disappointed and will not be going back.

I was in the area and wanted Mexican food for lunch. Google told me that Luis's was closest to me. I'm always skeptical of all 5-star reviews, but this place deserves it and is getting another from me. The restaurant is nice and clean, everyone was very friendly, and most importantly, the food was delicious. The salsa and queso were so good, chips were fresh and hot. I had the pollo chipotle and was so glad that I did. It's my favorite and was the best I've had since moving to Huntsville. Definitely going back!

Luis Garcia is an absolute staple in Huntsville. He has served my family from when I was in high school through marriage and having my own children. He has been a part of my children’s life’s since they were in a high chair eating a cheese quesadilla… and now they’re teenagers. Luis is one of the finest people I know and serves up outstanding Mexican food. Highly recommend this family-run business!!!

My son and I stumbled on this recently. I wondered if it was Luis Garcia, because we’ve missed him since he left Guadalajara. It was so good to see Luis again! The food was incredible, likely the best I’ve eaten. Terrific margarita, excellent guacamole. We’ll be back, Luis!

Tried tonight for the first time. I was excited to see the former owner of Guadalajara Luis. It took me back to the older days. Good was fantastic, service was great, and it was very clean. Will be my new favorite Mexican restaurant. The portions are big.

Absolutely love the staff! Very friendly, very attentive. Phenomenal service. Great atmosphere. The two steak burrito was outstanding. Luis himself makes you feel like you’re in his home. Best margaritas in Huntsville. Highly recommend.
