I love this place so much that I went twice this weekend! In my quest to find Mexican food similar to what I'm used to from living close to the border in San Diego the last 30 years, I came across this place in a Google search and am so glad I did!

The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic, and the owner, Karina, is so sweet and dedicated to making sure customers are happy.

It is very close to Campus 805 and is well worth it if you're in the area or feel like venturing out for lunch or dinner.

🥺enganche y engaño.!!
Food was excellent the very first visit. I returned a few days later and my entire dish was aweful. Cold rice and watery refried beans.!! The shrimp tasted as if it were leftovers...previously cooked and reheated. The toppings on the taco were totally different. The lighting is terrible. I won't be returning for another Rip-Off. 😕

We want to come here daily. Perfectly balanced margarita, not too sweet. Street tacos to die for. There are diced fresh onions AND grilled onions on the tacos! Salsa flavors that are both a deep sultry kiss and simultaneous slap in the face. Try the green tamale too! Why can’t we eat more? Life is terribly unfair sometimes.

Have eaten here twice and loved all 3 kinds of street tacos I have ordered. I will be going back to try other kinds of menu items.
They serve actual salsa with their chips not puréed tomato’s like the majority of Huntsville Mexican restaurants. This is one of the few authentic Mexican food locations in Huntsville and their service is kind and friendly!!!

One of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants in town. They have such a large variety of food with pictures. They even serve coffee and pastries. The owner at the front of the restaurant is polite and very helpful with menu selections.

Food/Drink: I ordered a Jamaica (Hibiscus). It wasn’t too sweet, and had the right amount of tartness. Compared to Tex Mex and Mexican restaurants in town, they provide a meager amount of chips, but they are freshly made with some homemade salsa. I didn’t really have to worry about snacking on the chips because my food came out fairly quickly.

I ordered some Mole Enchiladas and received some large portions. The chicken enchiladas were a little juicy, and the mole really enhanced the flavor. I loved the smokiness of the ancho falling through + the chocolate flavor. The cotija cheese and crema drizzled on top of the mole was good too. It had a tinge of sweetness, and paired well with the Jamaica. I recommend you try this place out!

Family ordered online for pickup as we went through Huntsville, specifically requesting no cilantro. This was written multiple times for each item. When we got the food, we couldn't tell which taco was supposed to have which ingredients. It looked like they just threw some stuff on top of three tortillas. Oh yeah, also freaking covered in cilantro. The other order didn't have the jalapeno sauce, as requested, but was covered with, yep, cilantro. For the queso and chips, we got maybe 15 tortilla chips.

Called to let them know, they said would talk to the owner about a refund since we couldn't eat the food. Never heard back. No idea if the food is even good. Queso was ok.

Mi Delicioso Guanajuato truly understands the art of creating authentic Mexican flavors, evident in their Mole burritos. With ingredients like nut, seed, cilantro, and chocolate skillfully blended into the mole sauce, every bite was a delightful explosion of taste.
The tender chicken (or carnitas) wrapped in the soft burrito, topped with fresh cheese, perfectly complemented the rich and complex flavors of the mole. Even the rice and beans, though bursting with their own deliciousness, couldn't overshadow the star of the show( be sure as ask for half rice haf bean if you want to try the bean cause it only comes with rice). It's clear that the chefs at Mi Delicioso Guanajuato know how to balance traditional ingredients to create a culinary masterpiece.
I will definitely be back for the same mole as I'm a fan forever.

OMG y'all, I gotta tell you about my epic lunch experience at Mi Delicioso Guanajuato! So, a few weeks back, my wife and I were chilling in actual Guanajuato the city in Mexico, and we loved it - the food, the people, everything. So when I saw this place I was like, "Yo, let's hit up this spot!" And let me tell ya, it was a total score! The food was legit Mexican - I scarfed down a taco and a gordita, and they were top-notch. And they had the best salsa verde, like maybe ever..?

But wait, it gets better! The vibe there was off the charts! They had this huge menu, like seriously, they even had tamales! And then, out of nowhere, the lady who greeted me when I walked in busted out singing! Like, whoa, talk about unexpected talent! Her voice totally added to the whole vibe of the place.

Honestly, I'm already planning my next trip back. Like, maybe even today? That's how much I loved it! Mi Delicioso Guanajuato, you've won my heart and my stomach. Can't wait to see what else you've got in store! 🌮🎶💃🏻

I had read great things about this place and really wanted it to be good. But I have to say I was disappointed after my lunch there. $15 for skinny birria tacos, pedestrian rice, and liquefied beans is not a good way to spend your lunch money. You can fork over a couple of bucks less and get a steak burrito at Chuy's as big as your face, plus unlimited chips and salsa. Here, we were offered exactly eight chips. Who does that?

BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN HUNTSVILLE. This place is family owned and it shows in the best way. We tried this out on a whim for lunch and we were blown away. Their aguas frescas are house made. I had the hibiscus/Jamaica one and it was a trip to the beach in one sip. I had the quesabirria tacos (best I've ever had) and a tamale Verde (also highly recommend). My husband had a carne asada torta (which he ate in about 1 minute flat - it was so good AND filling). Portion sizes are great. Atmosphere is great. The food Trifecta presented 07/26/2023 of soft refried beans, a scrumptious bed of rice, and those amazing quesadillas transported my taste buds into flavor paradise! Plating was smashingly well-defined: neatly displaying each food component.

I devoured tender chicken quesadillas ample in portion size and cooked to perfection! A deliciously delicate green sauce created a euphorically mellow taste topper. For a more spicy orbit, try the orange sauce.
Flaky flour shells elevated this tasty entree with a magnificent crunch that enhanced the succulence of the chicken. The Hibiscus, non-alcoholic fruit beverage was a flavorful splash of summertime!

Staff were tremendously welcoming! Satisfying customer preferences was prominent during both of my dining experiences here. I am so glad that my niece introduced me to this gem 07/02/2023.

I never write reviews because I don’t want to hurt hard working people or harm their family business. Repeat customers are the ultimate review and deciding factor. I have to write this review because since I left So Cali in 89 I have been searching for that burrito that I sadly left behind. I have eaten many burritos since that time and until now I had all but given up hope of ever finding a worthy replacement. I have finally come full circle in my quest thanks to the wonderful family at Mi Delicioso. If you like true Mexican flavors that includes homemade chips and salsa then please give them a try. Surprisingly they are also from Cali, so I guess it shouldn’t be a total surprise. Gracias de nuevo my new friends. I can’t wait to visit again very soon.

Quaint little Puerto Rican restaurant just down the street, 1 block from Campus 805.

Went at the behest of our Puerto Rican Warrant Officer at work, for a work luncheon outside the office.

Ordered one of my favorites, the Cubano sandwich...and can now say this one was the best I've ever had.
I also ordered some sweet plantains on the side and a mango juice to drink.

2 of my Hispanic companions ordered the roasted pork with mofongo (green plantain) , with rice and peas, and yucca (potato family).

The other ordered mofongo with octopus salad...which was actually very light, with olive oil, olives, only a slight seafood taste, and very tender; not chewy at all. I would've never guessed the lite and flavorful taste from a dish with octopus in it.

It is all cooked a veerrry long time to ensure the pork and octopus is flavorful and very tender!

If you love molasses and have never tried Malta, you are doing your taste buds a disservice. You must get the Malta 'India' brand made in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, (which is actually my friend's hometown).

Everything was muy, muy Bien!

Friendly and courteous staff and ofcourse very fluent.

Many desserts to choose from including Flan and ofcourse, very good coffee, to include flavored coffee. (Coconut and pumpkin, among many others.)

If you're itching for some flavors from the island, this is a must stop, hideaway!

Amazing food. Had the daily special and a coffee, everything was delicious. The person behind the counter was super helpful because it was my first time there.

This place has very greatly hidden themselves, but deserve more attention than they are getting. If you go here, I 100% recommend getting the pastels. I am part Cuban and Puerto Rican so I might have a taste for it, but if you come by here, try it. Nice, clean place with great workers. Would recommend! :) Have a great day everyone!

The food is always delicious. Plus, while I wait I always enjoy the sounds of PR with La Fania, Willie Colon, or Hector Lavoe usually playing over the speakers. 😆

Food was delicious!! We had fried sweet plantains, Cuban sandwiches, and iced latte, everything was delicious and fairly priced! The pulled pork on the Cubano sandwich was excellent..Come on HSV support your local businesses vs. big chains..

The food here is amazing and I adore their coffee. One of the best restaurants in a 50 mile radius. Everything is full of flavor and delicious. Can’t go wrong with anything they serve.

Feels like stepping into your tia's house for some café con leche. We got there late, but next time we will get there early when there's more pastries and panderia.

I love this place!! Absolutely adorable little bakery/cafe off of Governors drive. I've been twice, and have yet to try a sandwich or a lunch special, but the pastries are to die for, and I'm only biding my time till a good lunch opportunity presents itself.

The cafe is very clean, with a decent amount of seating considering its size. Parking can be a bit challenging, but it's worth it! So far, service has been very warm, pleasant, and helpful. You bus your own table.

Dolce Pan does specials every day, so you can never be sure of what entree is available unless you check out their Facebook page, which is quite helpful. They usually have mofongo and pernil (roast pork) available at least once a week, though. Otherwise, you can grab one of their very yummy looking sandwiches.

As for me, I've tried their quesito (a pastry with cream cheese and honey) twice, a guava filled turnover, and their fresh guava juice. All are delightful. The guava juice has a tiny bit of pulp or flesh or whatever left in it, but it's not at all too sweet, is a gorgeous color, and the price isn't too high. That's another thing I love about Dolce Pan - I think the prices are very reasonable. The guava turnover is quite sweet, and tastes to me a bit like what a pop tart that was actually a real, good pastry might taste like. The quesito is my favorite, so far. The cream cheese is so rich and the honey really enhances the buttery, flaky pastry. I love them!! Really want to try a Nutella turnover at some point.

Absolutely can't wait to try a cubano, and an empanada, and their daily specials. Dolce Pan has a huge fan in me.
