I don’t know where to start—this place is amazing! The food was fresh and authentic, hands down the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had. I'm so disappointed we live far away, or I'd be here every single day. Definitely highly recommend you check them out. You won't be disappointed!

Wait staff was great and the food really a wonderful surprise. Authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. Highly recommend. The sauces were are wonderful. If you like it spicy they have it. If you like it on the milder side they have that too

I like to consider myself a bit of a taco connoisseur. I've been to several locations throughout HSV in the pursuit of the BEST street taco and I think I've found my match. What sets them apart from the rest you ask? They make their tortillas from scratch to order. If you've never had a taco with a made-from-scratch FRESH tortilla, boy are you missing out! To top it off, their sauces are packed with flavor. Between myself and my friends, I think we've ordered just about everything on the menu, without a single complaint. Check it out - your taste buds won't be disappointed!!

UPDATE: If you haven't been to their new location on Shields and Jordan (Mi Pueblo #2), go check it out!! Same delicious quality with a few unique twists on the menu, from hot dogs, hamburgers, wings and a salad bar!!

This place and the owners CONTINUE to IMPRESS! Don't sleep on this place!

UPDATE UPDATE: Despite the #2 location no longer existing (staffing issues ), the original location continues tho THRIVE! We love our experience there every single time. From the atmosphere and the food, to the owners, it’s all spectacular. Thank you Mi Pueblo!!

I’m so glad Mi Pueblo came to Ryland Pike! I’ve only been twice and each time the food is delicious. They have the heaviest torta I’ve ever had. It’s packed and way bigger than I expected! The street taco was so good, the steak fries the best!! I spent about $35 for everything and they always give us chips and salsa. The salsa is on point. I’m from Texas and I’m real picky about my Mexican food. I hope they stick around forever!

A hidden gym off of ryland Pike. To be honest I've given up on most cheap Mexican food due to the fact it all tastes the same to me. But they make a beef soup that is absolutely amazing. Was very pleased both times I've had it. To the owner you may want to consider putting beef soup as a regular item not just as a special.

We came on a Sunday and enjoyed fresh chips and salsa. We ordered street tacos and birria tacos. Everything was Amazing! They don’t serve liquor but they will at the next location.

I got the street corn and quesabirria and both were so good! The birria had great flavor and it was more than I could finish at once. I can’t wait to try more from here!

Had been awhile since we had been there..Was surprised to see they had remodeled and now occupied the space next door for more dining room space. Always a pleasure to speak with the person who takes orders as we can ask questions about what is on the menu. My husband and I both ordered a different dinner than before for take out. Service was fast but oh my, the food was excellent.
Definitely authentic Mexican cuisine at its finest. We will definitely be back and maybe dine in

I have been on a quest to find authentic southern California style Mexican food. Mi Pueblo has a lot of the dishes that close to perfect. I was pleased to see several of my favorites on their menu. I will definitely have to return to try them all.

I've now had lunch three times at Mi Pueblo Taqueria and the food and service has been a home run every time. The food looks and tastes home made, and the portions are full x 2!

Some things you should know about them that I learned from my (so far) 3 visits:

1. They are located across from Central School on Ryland Pike, approximately 3 miles from D.J.'s Pizza. You wouldn't know how large they were from the outside. But inside, they are a solid medium size restaurant. Tables are well spaced. The facility is well lit and the staff is prompt, friendly and helpful.

2. It's family run, and it shows in the cleanliness of restaurant and the pride of the work staff. I've been there 3 times and have had 3 excellent experiences.

3. The meals... ARE FANTASTIC. Like they were home cooked just for me. I had given up on area Mexican restaurants that I formerly visited regularly. In terms of food quality, quantity, service and the restaurant itself, Mi Pueblo Taqueria puts the others in this area to shame. No exaggeration. Just truth.

They are well worth visiting. As of this writing they are open each day from 10:30 on.

This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Northern Alabama. You will not be disappointed because everything on the menu is so good! I could eat here everyday! The owners are so precious and make each customer feel like they are always welcome!

I got the Mi Pueblo burrito to go without the cheese sauce, it was REALLY good. I was in a hurry and they accommodated, by suggesting items that would be good to eat in the car on the run. 😄This was at their new location at Jordan Rd/ Shields.

Food hits the table hot and neatly plated. Fresh quality of ingredients is obvious. My party ordered three separate dishes and sampled from each other's plates. All items taste delicious. The salsa is a standout in quality.

This is the real deal. We've had many of the dishes. My wife loves the Horchata. Ive had the birria that comes as a quesabirria or birria ramen and both are delicious ways to eat it. Portions are extremely large. Sorry, no pics this time.

Best Mexican food in Huntsville by far. Having grown up with an abuelita that cooked authentic Mexican food daily, this place was very comparable to my abuelitas. The quesobirria was amazing, tacos were on point and beans and rice were authentic. This is a must try if you like good authentic Mexican food.

Has quickly become one of our very favorite Mexican restaurants in the area...super sweet owners who make you feel like family every time you visit! The food is amazing...SO much flavor in each bite! Quality ingredients and cooked with love for sure! And if you are lucky enough to get one of Mrs Gabby's famous desserts before they sell out ... gracious , they are incredible!! Everything my family, and friends have ever ordered here has been so, so good!
